Authors' POV
Alice shook her head being so done with her nephew, "Who was at the call"? Jacob asked curiously, "Oh, it was Ava, she was asking when I am coming home", Alice answered and Alexs' eyes lit up hearing his momma called so he asked smiling brightly,
"When are we heading home"? "Now only if you are done with your dessert", Alice replied smiling softly. "I am done let's go home", Alex said excitedly, too much eager to meet his momma but he was oblivious to the fact that his words made someones blood boil who is none other than the famous business tycoon who has just lost his heart to a beautiful girl.
George was not ready to accept that he won't get to see his heaven any longer. He badly wanted the time to stop so he could be with his queen a little more but fate was cruel. " This soon, stay for a little while", Jacob insisted, he took wanted to spend some time with his bestie.
Hearing Jacobs word George wanted to give him a tight hug, for the first time his P.A did something useful for him and he was very happy with that. A hope rising in his heart, hope that he wouldn't have to part ways with his heaven this soon but his hopes crushed when Alice denied Jacob saying, "Sorry, but I really can't, let's meet some other day", Jacob spared a glance at his boss and then nodded at Alice.
Alice then turned towards George whose eyes soften when met with his heavens siren eyes. "It was pleasure meeting you Mr. George", Alice said greatfully on which George shook his head saying, "Trust me the pleasure was mine", Alice nervously chuckled at Georges' remark.
Seeing the tension building between them Jacob immediately said, "Alice you should get going now, I will catch up with you later", "Yeah I will be leaving now, bye Jacob, bye Mr. George", Alice said waving her hand which Jacob replied with same gesture but both flinched when George yelled a little,
"No", George mentally cursed himself for yelling and immediately said, "I meant to say, no, don't say bye, say see you soon, it's more polite that way", Alice nodded in understanding and said softly, "See you soon then", "Soon Soon.." George said and Alice just smiled and walked out with Alex.
Georges' Pov
I saw Alice walking away with Alex. I really wanted to stop her, hold her close to me and never let go of her. When she said bye something snapped in me and I instinctively told her not to say that, it felt like if she is going away from me and I won't have the chance to see or talk to her.
Weird right? But that's what I really felt when she said bye, saying see you soon felt much better cuz it made me believe that I still have the chance to meet her again, gosh what have you done to me my Heaven?? I sighed sadly when she disappeared from my sight.
I looked beside me when I felt a nudge on my shoulder, it was Jacob who was staring at me bit confused, I raised my eyebrow at him and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that"?
"I am just amused, today for the first time in this four years I saw this much expressions on your face otherwise you always have that poker face on as if you are some heartless jerk", Jacob replied in one breath as I stared at him coldly.
I sometimes wonder how can someone talk this much, doesn't he get tired of using his mouth this much, but not gonna lie this man surely has guts to speak this much straightforward with me or else I have seen people trembling while making eye contact with me.
"Jacob I think you should give your mouth some rest, it might be tired after spilling too much nonsense and you are my P.A not my guardian that you are this much inquisitive about my life", I said firmly on which Jacob nodded slowly muttering a small barely audible "Sorry" and hearing him I sighed heavily.
I really need some fresh air now, thinking of it I walked out of my heavens cafe with Jacob following me, he opened the car door for me as I stepped in it, my gaze briefly lingering on the cafe infront of me where I found my soulmate, my other half, someone who will be the reason of my living from now on, the queen of my heart.
Can't wait to see you again my heaven, thinking of her a soft smile crept on my lips as I closed eyes remembering the time she was infront of me, my lips parted a bit and I whispered which was only audible to me,
" You made me fall for you heaven, soon you will be mine, ONLY MINE ".
I opened my eyes when someone shook me, I saw beside me only to see Jacob standing holding the car door for me, gesturing me to get out of it as we have already reached our destination.
I got down from the car and was about to go inside the hotel where I am staying tonight when I heard Jacob saying, " Boss I will get going now", "Are you not going to stay here"? I asked curiously on which Jacob shook his head saying, " No boss, I am going to my home, my mom wants me to spend some time with her, she was complaining from so long that I don't visit her so I am going home, I will be here tomorrow and then we will leave to New York, you take rest comfortably".
"You live in Brooklyn"? I asked curiously but frowned a little when Jacob kept this palm on his chest dramatically asking, "How could you do this to me sir"? " WTH what did I do to you now"? I asked confused.
"I am your P.A for four years now, when you appointed me as your P.A you read my resume atleast fifteen times, there was clearly written that my hometown is Brooklyn, how could you forget this big thing? I am deeply hurt", Jacob dramatically said wiping his fake tears.
I wanted to do nothing but choke this man to death, why does he have to be this dramatic? Why can't he just give short and simple answers to my question? "You done with your melodrama? Can I have normal answer to my question"? I asked coldly
" Yeah sure sir, this is Brooklyn where I was born, this is my native place, I have my family here but from four years I am living in New York as I am working for you as your P.A, I grew up here only", Jacob completed.
I don't know why this dude always give this much long explanation for small question but hearing him something clicked me, this is his birth place and he seemed to be like friends with Alice, shall I ask him about her?? But what if he gets suspicious?? But I really want to know about my heaven.
George Walker if you want to know more about your heaven then only this guy can help you so keep everything aside and just ask him, why the heck am I even freaking about this small matter? Be a man and ask him but what if he tells me to mind my own business?? Ahhh.... whatever, let's ask him....
