"What are your conditions then, my heaven"
George asked, Alice took a deep breath and said, "first of all you won't call me by that nickname".
"I am not agreeing to that condition, now tell me your next condition", George completed as Alice stared at him in disbelief thinking if this person is not agreeing on her first condition then how will he accept her other conditions.
"Stop stressing your brain, my heaven I will agree on your every conditions, but just don't tell me to stop calling you by nickname or not to express my feelings towards you, just don't tell me to stop loving you, that' all I want", George stated genuinely.
Alice just stared at George, girl was truly confused as how can someone claim to love her in this short time, she never believed in love at first sight, she has always believed in logics and knew that we can only get attracted in such short span of time with someone and love needs time.
But whatever shit she has delt with in past made her loose that twenty percent of faith she had on love, all she believed that only obsession, desire, forced connection exists.
"Don't expect me to love you back, don't expect any skin ship from me, we will act as good husband and wife infront of the world but don't expect me to act as your wife behind closed doors, and also for your own good, don't love me, you will only get hurt", Alice sternly said.
"If loving you will hurt me, then I am ready to be in pain for lifetime", George exclaimed and Alice huffed lowly and asked, " Are you agreeing to my conditions"? "Yeah I am agreeing to your conditions, just be by my side, I won't ask for anything", George replied genuinely.
"How do you know that you actually love me and its not just some random attraction or infatuation"? Alice asked curiously on which George chuckled before replying, "Just know that, my heart told me that you see this girl, she is the one for you".
"Bullshit", Alice muttered under her breath which was only audible to her. "Shall we go now, Ava and Edward might be waiting for us", George suggested and Alice nodded in approval .
They both turned around to go downstairs, George opened the door for Alice to step out but both of them flinched when Jacob fell infront of them, "Have you been eavesdropping on us"? George asked as he helped Jacob to get up
"Ahhh, that I just came to call you guys downstairs Ava is calling you both for lunch and don't worry I didn't hear anything related to conditions thing", Jacob nervously said and wiped the sweat from his forehead and Alice just shook her head being so done with her male bestie.
"You don't even know how to lie properly, how the heck did you even got hired in Aurora Crowns hotels"? Alice asked on which George replied, "heaven for getting hired in my hotel someone shouldn't be expert in lying and moreover I was the one who hired him so if you are questioning his ability, somewhere you are questioning my abilities too".
As soon as George completed his words he stumbled back because of Jacob who hugged him like his life depends on it. Jacob wiped his fake tears dramatically as he pulled back from the hug saying, "Only you understand my potential boss, this girl is my best friend just in name only you care for me, I will never forget this day".
"Ohh so now I am the bad friend right?? Your boss takes your side too much right?? Why don't we do something that will not make me feel like I am third wheeling between you two? Let's get you both married, everything will be alright then", Alice sarcaticay stated.
She bit her bottom lip to prevent herself from laughing out loud when both Jacob and George made a disgusting face at each other and shook their head in denial while staring at Alice.
"Jacob I know you heard everything, so I don't want you to spill anything infront of Ava and Edward, this thing should stay in between us only, no fourth person should get to know about it", Alice said being all serious now, on which Jacob obediently nodded.
But all the three of them looked at the door when they heard a voice saying, "What are you hiding Alice?? And also only telling to narcissist uncle and this I can't keep my mouth shut uncle", Alex curiously looked at the three elders standing infront of him who looked like they just got caught stealing a chocolate.
"My name is Jacob not I can't keep my mouth shut you brat", Jacob was the first one to break the silence by yelling a little at Alex who looked totally unbothered and took some steps towards Alice and gestured her to carry him who quickly picked him in her arms.
" Hey, my sweetheart, when did you come back"? Alice asked softly which worked as magic to George's ears as he slightly closed his eyes feeling his heavens soft voice but immediately opened his eyes when he heard something unexpected.
"That's not the answer of my question and also if you are sleepy narcissist uncle then go and sleep in your home and also what are you doing here"? Alex asked narrowing his eyes a little at George who amusingly looked at Alex.
"Well, I missed Alice a lot so I came here to meet her and also stop being too much clingy with her she is mine too now", George teasingly said as he took Alex from Alice and kept him down and looked at Alice and asked, "Your hands are not paining right"?
Alice looked at George astonished thinking how does he know, "Stop pressurising you brain much my heaven, I know Alex is a bit healthy and also too much clingy with you and you don't want him to feel bad so you just carry him around but I know your skin is kind of sensitive and it immediately turns red if put more pressure than necessary on it",
George said as he softly caressed the now red arms of Alice.
Alices' expressions unknowingly turned soft as she stared at George but immediately got out of her trance when George whispered which was just audible to her, "Stop staring at me this softly heaven I might end up doing something, trust me only I know how hardly I am controlling myself from hugging you tightly and never let you go".
Alice slightly backed away from George while being flustered but she masked her expressions which the expression of discomfort which George saw and felt really angry at his own self thinking he made his heaven uncomfortable.
He was about to apologize when Alex hugged Alices' legs who knelt infront of Alex and hugged him properly, she softly caressed Alexs' hairs and asked, "What happened sweetheart"? She got only silence in return but soon that silence was replaced by a small sniffles, she got worried and tried to break the hug when she felt some tears on her neck.
She was not able to break the hug as Alex tightened his grip and sons got louder now both George and Jacob got worried too, George also knelt beside Alice and softly called Alex, "Hey champ, what happened? you know big guys don't cry, look Alice is also crying do you want that to happen"??
For both Alice and Jacobs surprise Alex stopped crying after hearing George and turned towards George and hugged him mumbling, "I hurted her", George who was slightly shocked because of sudden hug smiled softly hearing Alex and picked him up like koala.
