Authors' POV
Alice had her eyes wide, George was too stunned to speak, Edward had a determined face on, Ava looked little tense, there was a moment of silence which broke by a loud.....
"Alice, you are going to be my lady boss"???
Jacob asked excitedly while coming inside the living room, if gaze could kill Jacob would be in cemetery till now cuz that's how Alice stared at Jacob when he asked her that, girl was already in shock and then this dude comes to pour fuel in already ready to explode lava.
"Will you kindly calm yourself and sit or you can kindly get out of here", Alice very kindly warned Jacob who zipped his mouth and sat
on the couch next to Ava.
"Edward, Ava what is all this"? Alice asked totally confused, girl was trying her best to think practically and not to create any scene, her hands were slightly shaking, some sweat formed on her forehead as she harshly gulped.
Her every action was observed by the Man sitting right next to her, who didn't hesitate and took her hand in his and softly caressed it providing her support and subtle assurance, somewhere his touch worked and Alice was back in her stable condition.
Ava and Edward both noticed it as Edward spoke, "Yesterday Henry told me that you introduced George as your boyfriend and also George told me that you both have been dating for two months now, so it's better that you guys get married soon".
"We are not...." , Alice got cut off by George who said, "We are not that eager to get married, I think we both need time for this big step", Alice was dumbstruck, she was literally questioning her existence and was also thinking why George is lying.
And about George then he wanted Edward to believe that he and Alice are dating in real life and Alice didn't pull out any stunt to reject her date, if Edward gets to know that he and Alice were faking infront of Henry then he will surely find some another man for Alice, so he lied.
"Do one thing, get married and then understand each other better, just think that it is a marriage arranged with love", Edward suggested on which Alice secretly rolled her eyes, George was happy about what Edward said and excitedly nodded.
Now Alice had enough she immediately got up and said, "George I need to talk to you now, and that too alone so Jacob you won't follow us or will listen to our conversation secretly", Jacob innocently nodded. George followed Alice to her bedroom.
Alices' Pov
I got in my room and closed the door shut but instantly looked back when I heard a groan, I frustratedly hit my head and immediately opened the door and gave George and apologetic look who was standing at my door and rubbing his forehead
"I am sorry George I didn't notice you out of frustration", George nodded and stepped inside, "Say no to this marriage", I literally ordered George who froze midway amd turned towards me, "Make me", George challenged.
"Why are you being like this? It's not like we are seriously dating and you are desparate to marry me, just say no to this shit", I frustratedly yelled, "Voice down my girl, watch who you are talking to, this man infront of you don't care if you even hit him but I am more worried that your throat will hurt", George softly said on which I internally groan and and sat on the bed.
"Why don't you want to get married"? George asked as he kneeled infront of me,
" I already have a boyfriend", I lied, gosh I am very terrible liar, "I know you have one", George said, did he believe it?? Oh thankfully now I can escape this situation.
"You also know I have a boyfriend so I am gonna marry him only", I confidently said but my confidence vanished when George chuckled saying, "I am also saying the same thing heaven, let's get married, and I know you have only one boyfriend, which is me, that too you yourself admitted that we love each other very much".
"We were just pretending to be fake girlfriend and boyfriend, you only helped me, every thing was fake, it's just this simple thing, don't make it complicated and just say no to this marriage, if you won't then I will", I warned George who stared right in my soul.
"Heaven, whatever happened yesterday was all true from my side, every words, every action done by me was true, I don't fake anything, even if it started from pretending, I am all ready to make it happen in real life", George whispered caressing my palm which I harshly yanked amd got up.
"You can't fall for me" I whined, " Even if I am held by divine force, I would still fall for you and only you", George softly said, which made my heart skip, I internally gulped and raised my index finger and pointed at him saying, "Look George I am telling politely I have no interest in this marriage shit, say no to this marriage, wait if you won't deny, I will".
"Yeah sure, go ahead, they will believe that you faked everything, our relationship just to escape your blind date, what if they fix your marriage with someone else, will you still pull off some stunt to reject it, think about your sister and brother-in-law, they are happy that you have a boyfriend, they will feel hurt if they get to know that you are just playing around ", Georges' words made me stop on my steps.
He is saying truth though, I am being selfish here, they only want the best for me this is the soul reason they want me to get married
How can you break their trust Alice, they will feel hurt if they get to know that I lied to escape my date. They will be disappointed in me, Ava will be hurt because of me, I was lost in my thoughts but I got out of it when George shook me .
"You fine heaven "? He asked worriedly as I closed my eyes to calm myself down, why does he have to be so expressive about how he feels, gosh it is such a mess, what should I do now, shall I say yes to this marriage, but what about my past, my fears, my trauma, I can't let George ruin his life by being with me.
He deserves better, but he can't seem to back down, and I can't tell my condition to anyone in my family, they will be worried and it might trigger me mental health, I can't even tell George about my past, it will trigger my emotions but I can't keep him in dark and also if I deny to marry George my sister and brother in law will find some one else for my marriage.
"Okay I will marry you , but only if you accept some of my conditions", I declared.
