Authors' POV
A man in his early thirties was sitting in his black porsche going through some important file, an irritating frown was visible on his forehead as he deadly glared at the person who was sitting infront of him with his head held down, "I don't pay you guys for this fucking shit, you call it a file?" The irritated man spat out frustratedly, the other man flinched at the harsh tone and replied scaredly, "Sorry boss, just give me five minutes I'll correct all the mistakes", "You better be quick, I don't wanna loose my important deal just bcz of your shity mistake", the boss let out sternly as the PA immediately nodded and started correcting the file.
Soon they were infront of Delight Cafe, Jacob the most trusted and personal assistant of the famous business tycoon opened the car door for his boss as a Tall, handsome, lean man got down adjusting his cuffs, a cold dominating aura surrounding him, a slight smirk visible on his face as he carried a poker face with cold expressions, eyes blank but still too much alluring and captivating, sharp jawline, pointed nose, he looked no less than a Greek god when he moved his hair back.
He stepped inside the cafe with his PA following behind, the cafe manager immediately rushed towards him to greet him which he responded with a slight nod. The manager guided them towards their reserved table and left.
A man in his mid thirties was already sitting on one of the chair, he got up and shook his hand with the said buisness tycoon saying, "It's my pleasure to meet you Mr. George Walkerthanks for collaborating with us", George nodded and said, " I am glad that I got to work with you Mr. Patrick watson".
Both sat on their respective chairs and started discussing about their deal, their conversation serious and professional as they shared their ideas with each other, agreeing on terms and conditions with mutual discussion, clearing every sirt of doubts as they agreed to collaborate with each other, signing the contract they took their hand confirming the alliance.
Georges' Pov
I came to Brooklyn for some business related stuff, Mr. Patrick watson is a great business and today we signed our collaboration deal which is gonna be beneficial for both of our companies, we are also planning to expand our hotel branch which will give extra profit.
After signing the contract I decided to leave but Patrick insisted me to have a cup of coffee with him which I gladly accepted. Soon a waitress came towards us to take our order but something was unusual, I could feel her constantly staring at me which made me quite uncomfortable.
Mr. Patrick noticed it and quickly ordered two coffee, the waitress went away to take our coffee. I was casually talking with Mr. Patrick when his phone rang, he excused himself and went to pick up the call, soon he came back and gave me an apologetic look saying, "Sorry Mr. George, my wife called, I have to leave, I can't deny her", l internally rolled my eyes but nodded faking a smile, we again shook hands and he left the cafe.
Jacob looked at me and said, "Don't be mad at him sir", I glared at him saying "Just because his wife called, he left, such a puppet of his wife tsk", "Boss when you will get married you will be same like Mr. Patrick", Jacob said on which I rolled my eyes saying "Oh, come on, no one has the power to control The George Walker and I am sure no girl can wrap me around her finger", "As you say boss", Jacob said and I nodded.
Suddenly a lavender fragrance hit my nostrils and my eyes fell on a girl, well, not just any ordinary girl but an extremely beautiful girl, ahe looked mesmerizing, an angel indeed, she looked so damn ethereal, she had siren eyes, long eyelashes, cheeks bit puffy, lips like rose petals, she had a mole on her lower lip and corner of left eye, wavy hair, simply she looked stunning .
I was completely drowned in her appearance when Jacob shook me saying, "Get back on earth boss", I shot a glare at him who immediately looked down avoiding eye contact. My eyes again went on that girl, I saw her coming in my direction, she was holding a little boy in her arms who was laughing and giggling with her, the beautiful girl halted on her steps when the little boy wiggled in her arms attempting to get down as she kept him down and ruffled the boys hair smiling at him, gosh her smile is not less that any falling star.
She look so pure, suddenly the boy started running, the girl just shook her head and followed the boy calling out his name "Alex, sweetheart don't run around, you will get hurt", gosh! even her voice is so sweet, it feels like honey is dripping, soon the enchanting girl was near our table, she was scolding the little boy, "Alex, I have clearly told you not to run around, you are turning into a brat, do you want me to complain to your momma"? "No, don't tell momma else she will scold me", the little boy said scaredly.
I saw how the beautiful girl softly patted Alexs' head, that time something shifted in me, I felt a strange relief inside me as I keep staring at her but in swift motion she pulled Alex back instinctively as she hissed in pain when hot coffee fell on her hand, my natural instinct kicked in as I immediately got up and looked more like glared at the same waitress bcz of whom the beautiful got hurt, "Alex, sweetheart you are not hurt right"? I heard her voice, it was cracking at the ends surely bcz of pain, "Alice your hand got burned", Alex said crying as she comforted him.
Alice! What a beautiful name but it's not a great time for appreciating her name, I intensely looked at the waitress, she should have been more careful about her job, bcz of her someone got hurt and that someone happens to be the person who just stole my heart, you will have to pay for this, I will make you pay for the sin you committed.
