It's windy… I feel like I'm falling.
I open my eyes and see… the sky.
A dark sky shimmering with stars, various glows and hues try to reach it coming from below… but the sky remains.
The midnight dark with sparkles everywhere on its canvas.
Across the vast sea of darkness hung a silver lantern…. A full moon.
"Beautiful" The words left my lips without me realizing it.
My voice was calm but high pitched, a bit hoarse but captivating.
I sounded like a young boy…
'So I'm a boy… how old am I? Judging by how I sound I can't be more than 8 years old. By the way where am..-'

"Fuck so that's where I was"
In front of me was a skyscraper reaching the clouds… and I just fell from it.
As my eyes closed I though 'Didn't even know what I looked like'.

Darkness all around me. Not the captivating one with shimmers across it but a dull plain darkness.
Nothing.
...
It's quiet.
I see nothing.
Like there is no light at all.
Just nothing all around.

"So who am I"
I felt it- wait did I? Idk but I know that my mouth moved… I should have heard it. What should have been words coming out of my mouth.
But I hear nothing. Absolute silence surrounds me.
It feels like all of my senses are gone… maybe even my perception of time.
I touch my body and feel no sensation, It feels like I don't exist.
'I should just close my eyes'.
I have no reason to keep my eyes open.
I don't even know how long I've been in this place… Also didn't I die?
Who am I anyways? What is my name? What do I look like?
All I know is that I'm a boy… but I have memories… of what?
Does it even matter… after all what's the point of remembering anything.
"After all what can I do here… in this place"
As expected I heard nothing… all I see is darkness and nothingness.
'I should just close my eyes'.
I started closing them and I felt my body dissapear. I felt weightless now as if I truly don't exist.
Did I even matter? Will I be remembered by anyone?
Then I heard it…. A voice inside my head.
[Open your eyes]

"Where am I now?"
It's dark, but there are glows embedded in the walls. Crystals that glow faintly embedded in rock and stone.
"I'm in a cave"
There are a lot of questions in my mind.. How did I get here? So I'm not dead? Who am I anyways?…. And many more questions. One particular question is whose voice was that I heard?
I put it all in the back of my mind for now as I need to get somewhere safe first.
How do I know I'm not safe? I smell blood all around me… corpses of soldiers lay behind me as well as animals?
I can't see clearly… it's too dark.
"Hello? Anyone still alive?" I don't know if their friend or foe but I need information so I decide to walk back towards the corpses.
Absolute silence… there is a slight hum but otherwise nothing.
Actually there was something coming from deeper inside… like a dripping sound.
It didn't take a genius to figure out there was water deeper inside the cave.
Smell of blood and taste of metal in the air.
Step.
Step.
Step.
Clang.
I jump up. I start looking around me frantically and then start backing up. As I'm backing up… I trip over one of the bodies and land in a pile of blood.
"Fucking disgusting"
I wipe some blood off my face and as I try to open my eyes I see… teeth.
Huge canine teeth, some jagged while others worn smooth. But the most shocking part… there were rows and rows of teeth. Dripping with saliva and blood that look like it would melt metal like acid.
"Hah…" I instantly jumped back terrified for my life. I landed upon another body, a large furry body and my hand slipped into the beast wound.
I felt it as my left hand was inside the beast, it was still warm and I can't even describe the disgusting texture I felt upon my hand… like something inside was still alive.
It felt like something brushed past my fingers like silk or thread, the touch barely there but still unsettling.
"Ugh fuckkkk this is so disgustingggg." I said as I pulled my hand out, now covered in blood up to the elbows.
I just leaned back against the beast body and sighed, then I noticed it.
In my right hand was a sword… a long sword I think? It looked like something that would show up in a fantasy movie, the design seemed like European?
….wait what's European?
"Ahhhh…. Aghhhhh stop it." A pain like I've never felt before, not even what I felt when I fell off the skyscraper can compare to this. A pain in my head like I'm part of a lobotomy, ahhh stop it stop it stop it STOP IT STOP IT STOP STOP. JUST STOP.
The pain stopped and I found myself deeper in the cave. It seems I started running when the pain in my head started.
"It felt like a million needles were being stabbed into my head constantly… that hurt so much."
I kept walking forward as I was deep inside the cave now with multiple paths behind me. It seems like my only was is forward and there didn't seem to be anyone alive back there anyways.
Fortunately somehow my grip never left the sword, like my body was honed to never let go of it's weapon, and so I kept moving forward.
'Was that sound earlier from my sword hitting something' I thought but didn't pay it any mind. There were more import matters to be worried about.
"I really hope there's no more of those monsters around."
The monsters I taked about were those beast, they looked like wolves I think but they were bigger… way bigger than any wolf should be.
And their mouth… rows and rows of teeth like it could crush any living creature.
"Terrifying, should put them in a horror movie or something would definitely win an Oscar."
Again. The pain came back. Almost like it warned me that I thought something I shouldn't know about.
This time I dropped on the ground grabbing my head hoping it would stop soon.
No scream came out this time but my eyes burned with pain, almost making it tear up.
Then it was gone just like it came… I found myself near the source of water I heard earlier.
I ran toward the pond as my throat was dry, I NEEDED to drink water.
When I kneeled near the water I noticed my reflection… but I could not see my face. It was like something was stopping me, like I was not allowed to see it. All I saw was a cloudy/hazy reflection that stared back.
My eyes however… they were clear. They looked back at me like they were examining me. For a moment I was mesmerized by those eyes, captivated even. The eyes glowed with a deep amethyst light, soft yet unearthly, as if stars had been caught and suspended within them.
'Are these my eyes? They're so pretty…' As I was captivated by my own eyes the pond of water started to shift.
The water started gathering as an orb in the center, condensing itself like it was alive.
It happened so fast that I could not even react, one moment I was captivated by the reflection of my eyes and the next I was staring at wet soil and even that seemed to dry up.
As I looked up I saw a massive glowing ball of water, absorbing all moisture around it… even the temperature of the room seemed to drop a few degrees.
Then instantaneously the glowing ball of water shot a beam.
I couldn't react, I barely even saw it. Less than a few seconds had passed since the water started gathering. It was fast, so fast that no one human could react.
It all happened so quickly… one moment I'm captivated by my eyes, then I see the water disappear and as I look up…

'Ahhh so it comes again… DEATH.'
