As I said that I notice the long sword in my right hand, I seem to be slim but not malnourished.

As I thought that a chill crept down my spine and I decided to not ask anything else for now.
I started following the lady and noticed what I was wearing, it was the same suit she was wearing except on my forearms there were canisters glowing a faint yellow. Almost like batteries that are keeping the suit powered, well must be because I don't feel anything.
I started playing with the suit like touching it and stretching it but it always went back to the same form, lines glowing across the body from top to bottom, faint runes at various parts of the body.
'Amazing technology. So this world must be advanced? Or is it only magic advanced?' I thought while messing with my suit and sword, the lady walking in front gave me weird looks but said nothing.
We kept walking for around an hour, as we kept walking there were more bushes and forest but I did not recognize any of these plants. That's weird although I was lazy in my past life I read a lot of books and my photographic memory recalls every piece of information I ever absorbed.
"Must be the magic bs" I mumbled to myself.
"Did you say something?" Said my 'mother' with a smirk on her face.
"Nothing just admiring the plants." I replied with a small smile

As she said this the slime around her right hand receded and her ring on her index finger glowed. Then popped out a small flat circular device, she threw it up and the device opened up like a ring.

As I said that the ring reached the peak of its height and emitted a pulse, a large pulse of green wave came out and travelled a radius of… Idek maybe 500m?

I quickly stepped out of the way of a charging wolf and fell on the ground as I barely managed to avoid becoming its meal.
'wtf this woman seriously wants me to fight wolves as a child? Is this world crazy… where is child services?'
But my thoughts quickly got interrupted as I looked at the wolf. It was still a normal sized wolf not like the ones I saw in my previous death and everything about looked like a normal wolf.
Big, scary, feral, looks like I could be dinner at any moment. Definitely bigger than a 10 year old child.

But still there was one thing wrong about the wolf, it was covered in dark gray sand. No it's like the body is made of dark grey sand, moving sand that mask its figure in black. It looks out of place like it doesn't belong in this world.
