"Uh…" Satan froze, left speechless under Pan's glare.
With Baby finally defeated, Son Goku floated down beside Lin Hao, still in awe of what he had just seen.
"Hey, Lin Hao! How is your Super Saiyan 4 so strong? You took care of Baby like it was nothing!" Goku asked, scratching his head in disbelief. "And also what planet did you grow up on as a Saiyan?"
Lin Hao smiled faintly. "The reason is simple. My Super Saiyan 4 isn't just the first stage you saw earlier, it's been pushed to Full Power. That's why the gap looks so wide. You're only just starting to master it. Once you stabilize your energy, you'll catch up soon enough."
"I see!" Goku nodded, eyes widening with understanding. "So that's why your aura feels so steady, while mine's still rough around the edges. You've already advanced to Full Power Super Saiyan 4." He grinned. "Thanks again. You didn't just save me you saved the Earth and the whole universe from Baby."
Goku's tone was deeply sincere. He knew full well that without Lin Hao's intervention, Baby's rampage would have ended with his own defeat and the destruction of everything they'd sworn to protect.
Lin Hao waved him off. "Think nothing of it. That parasite was arrogant enough to think he could wipe out the Saiyan race,vit was only right to shut him down. By the way, Vegeta took the worst of it while Baby was inside him. Why don't you check on him? Here take this Senzu Bean."
He tossed a single bean from his pouch.
"Oh, right! Vegeta!" Goku exclaimed, realizing in shock that he had almost forgotten.
He immediately rushed to Vegeta's side and gave him the bean. As the prince swallowed it, his wounds healed in seconds. When Vegeta opened his eyes and heard what had happened how Goku had transformed into Super Saiyan 4 and how Lin Hao had finished Baby—his face tightened with a complicated expression.
For Vegeta, the humiliation burned. First, Kakarot had surpassed him again with this new form. Now, even this outsider Lin Hao had done the same. In the span of a single battle, Vegeta's pride had been cut deeper than any wound Baby had inflicted. His ranking among the warriors had shifted once again from second place to third and nothing grated at him more than that.
"Tch… damn it…" Vegeta clenched his fists, his pride twisting into frustration.
At that moment, light shimmered across the battlefield. Shin, the Supreme Kai, and his attendant Kibito suddenly appeared with reinforcements Gohan, Trunks, and the others materialized by Instantaneous Movement.
"Father!" Trunks shouted, rushing toward Vegeta, while Gohan scanned the ruined battlefield with a grave expression.
A new tension filled the air. Though Baby was gone, something darker seemed to loom on the horizon.
They had used the Super Holy Water given by Kibito Kai to restore their sanity and regain awareness of everything that had happened under Baby's control. After that, the remaining warriors used the same sacred water to cleanse the rest of Earth's population, and for the time being, peace returned to the planet.

Time slipped by, and in the blink of an eye, two months had passed.
But within those two months, a catastrophe occurred. Although Baby was defeated, the Earth itself exploded due to the built-in curse of the Black Star Dragon Balls, whose negative energy triggered planetary destruction. However, all the inhabitants had already been evacuated to Planet Tsufuru, so no one perished except Piccolo. In order to prevent the Black Star Dragon Balls from scattering ever again, Piccolo chose to remain behind, sacrificing his life. During this time, through the rift engineered by Dr. Myuu, a flood of villains escaped Hell and rampaged on Earth. The Z-Fighters resisted bravely Gohan, Trunks, Goten, and even Uub all joined the battle but when Super 17 finally emerged from the fusion of Android 17 and Hell Fighter 17, his strength surpassed them all.
At this time, Lin Hao was far away, training in solitude on an uncharted planet.
Although he had mastered Full Power Super Saiyan 4, he dared not relax. He knew too well that Dragon Ball's true timeline was far vaster than the GT space he now lived in. Beyond this branch reality, the main continuity held entities terrifying beyond measure: the Gods of Destruction, the Angels, the Grand Priest, and above them all, Zeno, who could erase universes in an instant. Against beings like that, even a Super Saiyan 4 warrior would vanish with a flick of their finger.

High above Earth, in Kami's Lookout, Dende stood at the edge, gazing anxiously down at the planet below. His small body trembled with worry.
"God… perhaps we should ask Lin Hao for aid!" Mr. Popo suggested quietly.
"Yes!" Dende's eyes lit up. "How could I forget? Lin Hao defeated Baby with ease. His Super Saiyan 4 surpasses even Goku's first stage. If he steps in, Super 17 can be defeated!"
But then Dende froze, sweat beading on his forehead. Since the day Lin Hao left, no one had seen him again. "No… Lin Hao isn't on Earth. He's been training on some distant world. I have no way to contact him. I don't even have techniques like Instant Transmission…"

On the battlefield below, Gohan and the others stood bruised and desperate.
"What should we do?!" Gohan growled, his fists shaking. "Against Super 17, none of us stand a chance. Only Father and Lin Hao could fight him but Dad is trapped in Hell, and Lin Hao… he's vanished somewhere in space."
They all fell silent. The truth was harsh. Rescuing Goku from Hell was far beyond their ability. And against the fusion android, Earth's warriors were already outmatched.
