c37 – Super Android 17 vs. Son Goku
On Earth
Just as in the original events, before Son Gohan and Son Goten could finish gathering the Dragon Balls, Piccolo, deep in Hell, and Dende, at the Lookout, simultaneously coordinated their telepathic energy to open a dimensional rift connecting Earth and the underworld.
At that precise moment, Son Goku having been trapped in Hell by Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu's scheme reappeared on Earth in a burst of golden light. Without hesitation, he sensed the raging ki near the mountains where the battle was unfolding and instantly teleported to the battlefield. There, before him, stood the fused creation of two androids Super No. 17, the ultimate fusion of Android 17 and his Hell counterpart, designed by Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero to annihilate Goku once and for all.
"Well, Son Goku, I never imagined you'd claw your way back from Hell," sneered Dr. Myuu, hovering beside his perfect creation. "It seems I underestimated your persistence."
"Heh," Goku replied with a grin, brushing dust from his gi. "Hell's a boring place. No decent food, no sparring partners, it drove me crazy!" He dropped into a fighting stance, the air around him crackling.
"Enough chatter!" Dr. Myuu barked. "Super 17, destroy him! Send him back to Hell where he belongs!"
Super 17 smirked, his metallic hair glinting under the sun.
"We'll see about that," Goku shot back. "You'll never know who's stronger unless we trade blows!"
With a flash of golden light, Goku's aura exploded outward he had transformed into Super Saiyan, his golden hair standing upright, his power level skyrocketing. In an instant, he lunged straight at Dr. Myuu.
But Super 17 intercepted him, his body cloaked in silver lightning. The two collided midair.
"Bang! Bang!"
Their fists met again and again, creating shockwaves that tore through the sky. Lightning bolts danced around them as the Earth quaked beneath the pressure.
"Wh..what!?" Super 17's eyes widened as Goku's sheer power pushed him back. Even at Super Saiyan 1, Goku's attacks carried terrifying impact.
Before he could react, Goku unleashed a flurry of punches each blow faster than the last. His fists hammered Super 17's chest and abdomen, ending with a spinning kick that sent the android crashing into the ground, leaving a crater that billowed with smoke.
"Boom!"
Super 17 rose from the crater, brushing away dust with a cold smirk. "Son Goku, that tickled. If that's your best, I'm disappointed."
Goku frowned. I hit him with everything I had as a Super Saiyan. He barely flinched! He realized now that Super 17's strength truly rivaled the tales—this fusion really had surpassed Vegeta, Trunks, and even Gohan's limits.
"Lightning Shockwave!!" Super 17 suddenly shouted, raising both hands. Arcs of bio-electric energy surged from his palms, blasting toward Goku in rapid succession.
Goku darted forward, weaving between the bolts with instantaneous movements. "Too slow!" he taunted, closing in with a powerful right hook aimed at the android's abdomen.
But just before impact clack!.Super 17 caught Goku's fist effortlessly.
"What!?"
The android grinned darkly. "Predictable. I've already analyzed your combat data. You're finished."
Still gripping Goku's hand, Super 17 lifted it up, pulling Goku close. "Now it's my turn!"
He drew back his other arm and unleashed a brutal barrage of punches into Goku's stomach. Each hit echoed like thunder, forcing the Saiyan to cough blood. Finally, with a spinning kick, Super 17 sent Goku flying skyward.
"Ahhh!" Goku's body shot through the clouds, the impact forcing him beyond the upper atmosphere.
"Hahaha!" Dr. Myuu laughed maniacally from below. "Magnificent! That's the end of Son Goku!"
But even as the scientist celebrated, a familiar golden flash streaked back toward the ground. Goku halted himself midair, panting heavily, his gi torn, his expression fierce.
"Not bad," Goku muttered. "But you'll regret letting me catch my breath!"
Super 17 tilted his head, seemingly amused. "You're impressive, Son Goku. Your power is remarkable… but your attacks are useless against me. My absorption system converts all energy attacks directly into power. You can't win."
Goku's eyes narrowed. He remembered how both Android 19 and Android 20 (Dr. Gero) had used similar absorption technology years ago, but Super 17's design was far superior capable of absorbing ki from even divine-level energy waves.
"Tch. Guess I'll have to fight you the old-fashioned way," Goku said, clenching his fists again.
Dr. Myuu laughed. "Futile! Even your Super Saiyan 3 form won't help you now!"
Ignoring him, Goku flared his aura once more his golden ki erupting into a blazing inferno that lit up the battlefield. The wind howled around them as the ground cracked beneath his feet.
In that instant, the aura shifted his hair grew longer, his brows vanished, and his power multiplied severalfold. The sky trembled as Super Saiyan 3 Goku emerged in full fury.
Super 17 smiled calmly. "Perfect. Show me the full extent of your strength… before I crush you."
"Be careful what you wish for," Goku replied, grinning through the rising storm.
The two warriors vanished simultaneously, colliding again in a clash so powerful it split the clouds apart. Their punches created sonic booms, their energy waves clashing in midair.
Miles away, Gohan and Goten, still searching for the Dragon Balls, felt the shockwaves and looked toward the horizon.
"That ki it's Dad!" shouted Goten.
"Yeah," Gohan replied grimly. "And whoever he's fighting… is terrifying."
Back at the battlefield, Goku and Super 17 continued trading blows—each strike faster, heavier, more violent than before.
Even from afar, Lin Hao, who had returned from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, sensed the titanic battle and smiled faintly.
"So it's begun," he murmured. "Super 17… let's see if you're worthy of a true Saiyan's power."
As lightning ripped across the heavens, the fight between Super No. 17 and Son Goku raged on—each blow shaking the Earth, marking the beginning of the most brutal duel yet.
He quickly followed up and appeared in the sky above Son Goku. He aimed both palms downward and focused his ki, releasing a continuous barrage of explosive energy blasts toward Goku's body.
"Waaah!"
With a scream, Son Goku was smashed directly into the side of a rocky mountain, the explosion shaking the ground.
Seeing Son Goku being overwhelmed by Super 17, Dr. Myuu's face twisted with excitement.
"Hahaha! Super No. 17 is truly magnificent. He's the ultimate fusion of Dr. Gero's engineering and my own genius. But Gero never realized that I embedded my own control system in Super 17's core. He no longer obeys Gero's commands. Now he belongs to me this is my Super 17!"
Dr. Myuu stepped closer to the edge of the crater, looking down at Son Goku's battered figure and laughing, convinced victory was at hand.
"You think you've figured out my moves? You're too naive!"
Son Goku slowly stood, dust swirling around him. He glared up at Super 17 hovering outside the pit and let out a cold snort.
"Aaah!"
In an instant, golden light flared around him as he transformed into a Super Saiyan. He gathered ki between his palms and unleashed a roaring energy wave straight toward Super 17.
"Uh-huh!"
Boom!
Son Goku grinned as his Kamehameha smashed into Super 17.
"Hah! See that? You didn't predict that one, did you?"
"Hoo-ho!"
But as the smoke cleared, Super 17 stood completely unharmed, the energy having been absorbed into his body through the energy-absorbing barrier on his hands.
"Huh?"
Son Goku's expression shifted to disbelief. He raised his hands again, firing one blast cannon after another, but every shot vanished into Super 17's palms.
"How is this possible? My attacks hit dead-on, but they're not doing any damage at all!"
Seeing Goku's confusion, Dr. Myuu sneered from above. "Fool! Keep using your ki blasts! The more energy you fire, the stronger Super 17 becomes! If you can beat him like this, I'll admit you're a god!"
"I can't lose here then take this!"
Son Goku charged straight at Super 17.
"Kamehamehaaa!!"
He leapt high, thrusting his glowing palms toward Super 17's head and unleashed the Kamehameha point-blank.
"Ahhh!"
Super 17 didn't even move, letting the attack engulf him completely.
Boom!
When the smoke settled, the ground where Super 17 stood had become a massive crater.
"Hmph! And you said you could read my attacks. You're done for now!"
Hovering in midair, Son Goku looked down proudly at the smoking pit. But before his smile could fade, golden light burst from the crater, and Super 17 shot upward, completely unscathed.
"Not bad, Goku but now it's my turn!"
In a blur, Super 17's fist slammed into Goku's face, followed by a heavy kick to his chest.
The impact sent Son Goku hurtling through the sky, crashing into the ocean hundreds of kilometers away with an enormous splash.
