Chapter 43 Super Omega Shenron
"Huh? I didn't expect this guy to actually absorb the Dragon Ball from Son Goku! Now this is going to be interesting!"
Lin Hao narrowed his eyes as he watched Omega Shenron's body swell with surging negative energy, his expression carrying a faint smile.
To outsiders, this sudden change might not make sense, but as someone who had already read the original history of the Shadow Dragons, how could Lin Hao not know?
The truth was simple, if Omega Shenron managed to consume the remaining Dragon Balls, his power wouldn't just rise slightly. His entire existence would be transformed.
Once fused with all seven Dragon Balls, his energy would multiply exponentially tenfold at the very least.
In other words, if Omega Shenron absorbed them all, his combat strength would leap from the terrifying 30 trillion level he already possessed to over 300 trillion, a force beyond comprehension.
"This… this aura, it's climbing higher and higher!"
Feeling the endless waves of ki radiating from Omega Shenron, Son Goku's forehead was dripping with cold sweat. Not even when he fought Baby Vegeta or Super 17 had he felt something this suffocating.
"This feeling is intoxicating!!"
After devouring the six remaining Dragon Balls, Omega Shenron roared as his body mutated once again. His horned head lost its single glowing orb, while his chest began to shine. Seven radiant beams of light carved through the sky before condensing into seven embedded Dragon Balls six orbiting around a dark central core, like planets circling a sun.
His scales gleamed darker than before, his spikes extended, and even the heavens seemed to tremble.
"This power… far beyond what I imagined!"
Super Omega Shenron clenched his clawed fists, and in that moment
"Buzz!!"
A devastating surge of energy burst outward.
"BOOM!!!"
The ground quaked violently, mountains split apart, and every pebble within kilometers was blasted away as though caught in a hurricane. Even Son Goku, in his Super Saiyan 4 form, was hurled backwards by the sheer force of the shockwave.
"S-so strong… his aura isn't just twice as dense as before, it feels endless!"
Clenching his fists, Goku's thoughts darkened.
"With my current power… I can't tell if I can even resist him. If it comes to it, I'll have to rely on Lin Hao. His strength when he was only at Super Saiyan 2 was already astounding. If he unleashes his full Super Saiyan 4, that energy might rival even this monster…"
Gritting his teeth, Goku's crimson fur bristled as he powered up further and launched himself straight at Super Omega Shenron.
But it was hopeless. Even with every ounce of speed and strength his body could muster, he was utterly outclassed. In just two or three punishing blows, Omega Shenron sent him crashing down like a broken doll.
Watching the carnage, Nuova Shenron could no longer stand idle. He knew that if Omega Shenron triumphed, his own fate was sealed. With no choice, the noble dragon rushed forward, fighting side by side with Goku.
But even their combined assault was meaningless. Omega's claws shredded Nuova's defenses, and within moments, Nuova Shenron was struck down violently, his body dissolving back into light.
Goku, beaten down and drained, collapsed as his Super Saiyan 4 form flickered and vanished. His tail receded, leaving him in base form, battered and gasping.
"Agh… this guy… he's too strong."
Staggering, Goku turned toward Lin Hao, desperation in his voice.
"Lin Hao… can you defeat him? If not, then we'll have to fight him together!"
Though Goku had witnessed Lin Hao's overwhelming might how he had obliterated Eis Shenron without even relying on the full power of Super Saiyan 4—what stood before them now was something else entirely.
Super Omega Shenron's strength was on a level that dwarfed Eis and even Nuova combined.
Yet despite that, Lin Hao only folded his arms calmly, his voice steady.
"Join forces? No… his power has indeed grown immeasurably, but you don't need to worry. I alone am enough to finish him. All you need to do is watch carefully."
After Lin Hao pulled out a senzu bean and tossed it toward Son Goku, he turned his gaze back, stepping slowly toward Super Omega Shenron with unwavering intent.
It was undeniable Omega Shenron's strength had risen drastically after absorbing all seven Dragon Balls, becoming the most fearsome of the Shadow Dragons.
Yet Lin Hao's current Super Saiyan 2 form contained only a fraction of his true power barely one-tenth. If he chose to ascend into Super Saiyan 4, his strength would multiply explosively, and even a monster like Omega Shenron would not survive his full might for long.
"Alright then! Let's go!"
Son Goku shouted after regaining his strength, his body revitalized the moment he swallowed the senzu bean.
"Grandpa! Are you okay?!"
Pan cried out, flying over anxiously. Beside her was Vegeta, whose sharp eyes instantly fell on Goku.
"Kakarot, how's your condition?" Vegeta demanded, crossing his arms.
"I'm fine. The other Shadow Dragons have been taken care of, but this last one… he's not going down easy!"
"Tch. I knew it," Vegeta muttered. "That malicious aura I felt before arriving—it was him. Not only has his strength climbed again, but you, Kakarot… you've improved as well, pulling even further ahead of me." His fists clenched in frustration.
"Dad… can he really defeat that thing?" Son Gohan asked with visible concern.
"I don't know," Goku admitted, shaking his head. "I've never seen Lin Hao go all out. He should have what it takes to beat Omega Shenron… but we can only hope. If he can't, then we'll have to figure out another way."
Though he had only crossed paths with Lin Hao twice before, Goku knew the man was far from ordinary. But the true depth of Lin Hao's power was still a mystery. Even now, after the senzu bean restored his stamina, Goku could feel his own strength rising slightly higher than before, but whether it would matter was another story.
"So, it's finally your turn," Omega Shenron sneered, his arms folded across his massive chest. "Judging by your aura, you may indeed surpass Son Goku. Fighting you might actually amuse me." His grin widened, cruel and mocking. "But I only hope you won't fall too quickly. If you die too soon, I'll be bored."
Lin Hao's lips curved upward into a calm smile. "Don't worry. This fight will be exciting all right but it'll be one-sided. I won't let you feel a shred of enjoyment."
"What did you say?!" Omega Shenron's smirk twisted into a snarl, rage boiling over. "Such arrogance! An insect like you dares to claim victory over me?! I intended to toy with you, but you've already irritated me enough. I'll tear you apart right now!"
His voice thundered like a storm, negative energy crackling around him. This human this earthling dared to mock the ultimate Shadow Dragon? Unless he shredded Lin Hao into nothing, Omega Shenron's title meant nothing.
"Then stop talking," Lin Hao said coolly, his aura sparking violently. "Show me how you think you'll kill me!"
"WHOOSH !"
Without even transforming further, Lin Hao stayed in his blazing Super Saiyan 2 form and blurred forward at unimaginable speed. In an instant, he appeared directly in front of Super Omega Shenron, raising his foot before slamming it downward with explosive force.
