On the distant Kaioshin Realm, both the young Supreme Kai, Shin, and the Elder Kai who had been watching Son Goku's battle through the crystal orb were shaken by Lin Hao's sudden transformation.
"Ancestor… unbelievable! That Saiyan named Lin Hao… he can transform into Super Saiyan 4 as well! His aura is immense!" Shin exclaimed, eyes widening in disbelief.
"Hmph… impressive indeed," the Elder Kai muttered, stroking his beard. "And his ki… it's even greater than Son Goku's Super Saiyan 4. That's no ordinary transformation, it feels more refined, more stable, almost as if he mastered it much earlier than Goku did. But what truly catches my attention isn't just the form…"
His gaze sharpened as he leaned closer to the crystal. "…It's the ring on his left hand. Look closely, Shin. Do you recognize it?"
"Huh? The ring? Ancestor, what about it?" Shin tilted his head, clearly lost.
The Elder Kai's forehead darkened with exasperation, and he smacked Shin on the head repeatedly with his cane. "You dolt! And you call yourself Supreme Kai?!"
"Ancestor! I really don't know what that ring represents!" Shin stammered, holding his head.
"That, you fool, is a Time Ring an artifact usable only by a Supreme Kai. With it, one can travel forward into the future and return from the future back to the present. But never into the past! Only the Kaioshin who guards the flow of time is permitted to wield such an item!"
The Elder Kai's tone was sharp, but beneath it was unease.
(What he didn't know, however, was that the ring on Lin Hao's hand was not the same artifact entrusted to Supreme Kai. Instead, it was a system-forged time–space ring, similar in appearance yet far superior in function. Unlike the Kai's Time Ring, Lin Hao's could distort both past and future with far fewer restrictions.)
"Does that mean… Lin Hao might be a Supreme Kai as well?" Shin asked nervously, his expression conflicted.
"I don't know," Elder Kai replied curtly. "That's only speculation. If we get the chance, we'll ask him directly. Until then, we watch."

Back on the battlefield, Lin Hao now in his blazing Super Saiyan 4 form disappeared in a blur of speed, reappearing behind the massive Golden Great Ape Baby.
"Here!!"
With a sharp twist of his hips, Lin Hao lashed out with a fierce kick that struck Baby directly across the neck.
BOOOOM!
The colossal Tuffle-possessed body was hurled through the air like a mountain torn from its roots, smashing into a rocky cliff with explosive force. The impact carved a long, jagged trench across the ground as the ape's body skidded violently backward, leaving crumbling stone and dust clouds in its wake.
"Unbelievable…! He sent Baby flying with a single kick!" Goku muttered, eyes wide in astonishment.
He knew Baby's terrifying strength better than anyone. As a Golden Great Ape, Baby's power had dwarfed even his own freshly achieved Super Saiyan 4, forcing Goku into a desperate struggle. But Lin Hao had casually overwhelmed him.
"And his Super Saiyan 4… it's different from mine. His aura's sharper, denser… far beyond what I could manage when I first transformed." Goku's fists tightened, not out of jealousy, but awe. "It's at least twice as strong as my own Super Saiyan 4."

Baby rose from the rubble, his eyes glowing crimson with rage. His body trembled, veins bulging as his aura flared violently.
"Damn it… damn it!! You bastard Saiyan!!" he roared, spittle flying from his fanged mouth. "You'll pay for this humiliation! I'll never forgive you!!"
Baby staggered to his feet, glaring murderously at Lin Hao, who hovered in midair with calm defiance.
The fury blazing in Baby's crimson eyes surged uncontrollably, his aura swelling and shaking the ground beneath him.
"What's the matter, parasite? Already mad?" Lin Hao smirked, his golden-red fur shimmering in the sunlight. "Relax. That kick earlier? I was holding back. I haven't even begun to show my real strength."
"Y-you… you bastard Saiyan…!!" Baby's roar tore through the sky, his voice filled with rage and humiliation. The mockery, combined with Lin Hao's casual tone, sent the Tuffle parasite into a frenzy.
With a thunderous leap, Baby hurled his colossal body forward. Despite his massive size, the Golden Great Ape moved with terrifying speed—an ability Goku himself had struggled against earlier. In mere seconds, Baby's enormous hands reached out, intent on crushing Lin Hao like an insect.
Lin Hao tilted his body with the smallest movement, and the giant palms slammed shut with a deafening clap.
BOOOOM!
The impact generated a violent shockwave that ripped through the battlefield, flattening nearby peaks and sending dust spiraling into the sky.
"Oh my… such raw power." Lin Hao chuckled lightly, floating effortlessly out of reach. "But tell me, Baby do you really think brute strength alone will be enough to beat me?"
"RAAAAH!!" Baby's mouth gaped wide, crimson energy surging between his fangs. A blast of destructive ki condensed into a roaring cannon and shot forward.
"Hmph, don't think you're the only one who can throw energy bombs." Lin Hao raised his hand, where a silver-white sphere of ki pulsed with contained power.
ZAAAP!
The beams collided in midair. The explosion thundered across the sky, tearing apart clouds and leaving a smoking crater in the earth below.
Lin Hao shook out his wrist, his expression sharp. "If that's all you've got, then you're not worth my time. My body's warmed up now. Maybe I should stop holding back."
"Damn you, Saiyan monkey!!" Baby bellowed, his aura flaring blood-red. He lunged again, this time cocking his enormous fist and slamming it toward Lin Hao with all the force he could muster.
But Lin Hao didn't evade. He clenched his right hand and met Baby head-on.
BOOOOM!!
When their fists collided, the battlefield froze in silence for a fraction of a second. Then the very heavens cracked. The sky itself seemed to split as thunder roared, and the ground ruptured beneath them, erupting in violent quakes.
The shockwave tore apart mountains, and Baby's massive form was hurled backward, crashing violently into the earth and skidding across the battlefield in a trail of destruction.
From a hidden ridge, Pan and Mr. Satan shielded their eyes from the blinding light.
"A-amazing…" Pan gasped, her eyes wide. "That guy's even stronger than Grandpa! And he… he transformed into Super Saiyan 4 too! He's incredible!"
Mr. Satan's jaw dropped, sweat pouring down his face as he clutched Pan's shoulder. "I-is he human?! Or… or is he some kind of god?!"
Even Goku, floating nearby, couldn't hide his astonishment. He clenched his fists tightly, excitement sparking in his eyes. "So strong…! His Super Saiyan 4 feels even sharper than mine. I didn't think anyone could push Baby around like that."
On the battlefield, Baby snarled as he rose again, blood seeping from his mouth, disbelief etched across his monstrous face.
"N-no way…!! This power… how can a Saiyan be stronger than me in this state?!" His thoughts raced, panic mixing with fury. "My punch should've crushed him… yet it was me who got thrown back…!!"
The realization stung like poison. For the first time since fusing with Vegeta and achieving Golden Great Ape form, Baby felt fear.
