Third Party POV
The rogue contact took the information that Catherine gave him and presented it to the Rogue King, he knew it was risky, he knew that by doing this the King would discover that he knew where Catherine was and would demand he told him in order to not be executed by the Rogue King himself. He also knew if the King didn't want to take the exchange, he would then somehow have to tell Catherine to run without the Rogue King knowing he was feeding her family information to keep her safe. He was essentially in between a rock and a hard place but since he was loyal to Catherine's family and wanted to make sure the girl was safe he took the risk.
Now he stood in front of the Rogue King as he was reading the letter from Catherine and looking at the picture she provided.
"Hmm, this is a pretty interesting proposal. How did you come about this letter?" The Rogue King asked.
"Well, um you see your majesty, I found the family, they are still trying to hide their daughter and asked if I could give this letter to you before telling you where they are living." The rogue gulped and explained a half truth.
"I see, and they just believed I would be willing to take this girl instead of their daughter and not decide to take both?" The Rogue King asked his next question.
"I, um, don't believe that they thought you would still want their daughter sir, " the rogue began, "you see, according to her family, she's been involved with multiple young wolves and is no longer pure, they figured you would prefer a better she-wolf to take as your next bride."
"And this she-wolf in the picture is pure? Am I am supposed to believe that?" The King Quirked an eyebrow at him.
"I am not sure your majesty. Most young she-wolves aren't pure these days. However some do stick to only one partner. It is rare for anyone to wait for their mate." The rogue responded nervously.
"I see, well this young she-wolf is a much better looking female than my chosen Catherine. If she is indeed less tainted then she would make a better bride. I will think about this. I may decide to take this young lady as my bride and make Catherine my breeder. I am not sure if I will indeed give up on my Catherine completely." The king pointed to his guards, "Take him to the dungeons, I don't want him running off and informing the family that I may still take Catherine until I make my decision."
"Yes my king!" The guards said in unison and brought the rogue to the dungeons.
The Rogue King debated on his options for a week. Normally he wouldn't let others persuade his decisions but he was amused with Catherine's attempt to exchange her fate for someone else's. He wasn't too pleased to learn that Catherine was no longer pure, it was part of why he wanted her as a bride to begin with and why he took them at young ages. All his brides were pure when he took them, the un-pure ones were always made into breeders, if not his own then for the males in his kingdom.
All the women in his kingdom were either slaves, breeders or his brides. He chose which role based on how they came to him. If he chose a bride from a pack and she wasn't pure he made them a breeder, the slaves were deemed slaves because they were mated to a male in his kingdom and since males are very territorial of their mates he would just make them work instead of letting them be breed. All pure unmated she-wolves became his bride and served only him and his needs.
Women were beneath men and he treated them as such, the rogue women learned their place quickly in his kingdom or they would get a beating. He never tolerated disrespect, he was king and his word was law.
After his decision, the king finally let the rogue go.
"Go tell Catherine and her family I accept their proposal. " The Rogue King said.
"Yes your majesty. Should I take the other girl for you?" The rogue asked.
"No, I have a plan to get her, I also don't want Catherine to come under any kind of threat. If her family becomes relaxed and the girl immediately goes missing they will become the suspects and the agreement says she doesn't want to be implicated so I will grant that wish." The King responded.
"Understood sir." The rogue nodded, "I will let them know." he turned and left.
As the king watched and made sure he left he turned to his head strategists for kidnapping, "I want both, the girl from this picture and Catherine, if this girl is pure she will become my next bride, if not, her and Catherine will become breeders. Catherine will be a breeder for the kingdom and this girl will be my personal breeder. Do you understand?"
"Yes your majesty, I will begin plans to take both girls. It may take a few months. We need to scout this territory since we have never been here before. Learn their security protocols, check out the girls' routines and the best way to capture them."
"Very well. I trust your judgment, you've never let me down before." The Rogue King smirked at his strategists. "I look forward to having them soon."
