Humans were the sole rulers of the fantastical nations — the Mesa in the north, Morquine in the south, Azeth in the east, and at the center stood the grand ancient Tree of Life — the nation of Eleris. The nation of Insaria, located in the west, was home to human mages and knights.
It was not a peaceful era. The imperial family of Insaria, bound by greed, exploited the other nations. Their reputation was already in decline when a great catastrophe struck their land, threatening the very existence of the other nations. Desperate, the imperial family sought peace and proposed a treaty, pleading for aid from their long-estranged neighbors.
The catastrophe, however, could not bring Eleris to ruin. Protected by the Great Tree and its mages — blessed with spirits overflowing with mana — the nation remained untouched. Eleris had long been isolated from the outside world, allowing only a select few to visit Insaria: those exceptionally talented in magic. Thus, seeking the assistance of Eleris was no easy task.
A human mage was sent forth to Eleris to plead for help from the daughter of its ruler. In an age of greed and violence, the friendship that bloomed between the human and the elf was as rare as it was powerful. Their bond, forged through hardship during their days at the Magic Academy of Insaria.
Though Eleris had long avoided human conflicts, the ruler could not ignore the bond between these two gifted mages — nor the political consequences of silence. Thus, Eleris marched to war.
The battle, which was expected to last a year, ended in only three months. Many lives were lost — both the weak and the strong perished. Yet from the ashes of war, one figure rose above all others: a savior whose name would echo through history — Melania, the Great Commander of the War.
At last, the long-awaited peace was born, and the nations of all beings came together to form one realm — Memoria.
Now, under the tranquil glow of Luna, the star that shone brightest in the night sky, the people of Memoria gathered in celebration.
