After my wolf described to me her plan I knew she was right and I didn't like it but it was a good plan. One that could definitely get Amethyst out of here. The only issue would be, how long it may take. The uncertainty was killing me but as long as Cliff became mine I didn't care.
Now I'm sitting here at the edge of town waiting for my parents' contact. When we left our old pack, The Iron Heart Pack, years ago and came to the current pack, The River Mights Pack, it was so that we could make the arrangements with Rhett's family and escape the Rogue King, my dad made sure that we had someone on the inside to keep us informed in case the king ever came looking for me.
Everyone from my old pack knew the Rogue King had a habit of kidnapping girls from around the country to force them to either be breeders or his mates. Yes, you heard that right, mates, as in plural, more than one. Rumor had it he killed his first mate, became rogue, killed his way up to King just because he had a God complex. When we caught wind he set his sights on me to become his next bride my parents took me and ran before I turned 16 and he came for me. My dad and Rhett's dad were friends so we came to him for help and that is where the arrangement came to be. To continue to protect me from the Rogue King, I would mate with Rhett when we both graduated high school. Unfortunately for me all that is ruined thanks to Amethyst so now I have to go with a plan "B" her life for mine. I just hope the Rogue King will agree to this exchange and come take her. Otherwise the risk I am putting myself in by essentially leading him right to me is more than dumb!
It seems like hours before the contact gets here but when he does I put my plan in motion. I told him what had happened, well my version anyways, he sympathized with me and said he would present the offer to the King and get back to me as soon as he could. I gave him a letter to deliver to the Rogue King and a picture of Amethyst from the summer, its a bikini picture so I figured giving the Rogue King a better image of what her body looks like might help in my favor. The contact gladly took everything and told me he would contact me with the answer and let me know if I would need to go on the run if the Rogue King refused the exchange. Fingers crossed it goes my way!

A month has gone by and I still haven't heard anything from my parents contact and it's making me extremely nervous. My wolf and I are on edge because of it. It doesn't help that my parents are angry with me because of everything that has gone down with Rhett. He hasn't spoken to me since the party and neither has Cliff. I don't care much that Rhett isn't speaking to me but I try every day to get Cliff to talk to me. He doesn't answer my texts or calls and if I see him around town he ignores me. It's starting to irritate me and it makes me want to get rid of Amethyst even more. If this plan doesn't work I will just have to come up with another one to make sure she's gone for good.
Cliffs POV
It's been a month, a month without my girl talking to me. I couldn't find her that night and when I went to her house no one would tell me if she was home or not and they wouldn't let me in. Her mom even told me she was so disappointed in me but was glad that Amethyst now had a real shot at finding her fated mate and wasn't going to be tied down to me any longer. That almost hurt just as bad as Amy's rejection, I knew her parents were traditional but I had thought they were supportive of our chosen mate-ship, I guess I was wrong.
I returned to school a week after New Year's and had been trying to text Amy ever since, she has ignored every one of my texts. She won't answer my calls and I've tried to see her every weekend, but she either refuses to see me when I go to her house or they say she's not home and won't tell me where she is. I've even tried going to her friend's homes to see if she's there but no one will talk to me or tell me where she is. Outlaw is going crazy and it's putting us more on edge. It also doesn't help that Catherine has been trying to contact us as well. She obviously doesn't believe my threat so now I've been looking into why she needs protection. She never actually told me why she needs it just that Rhett and his family were protecting her. Since she won't leave me alone I plan on doing anything to make sure whoever she needs protection from finds her and gets her so that I will never have to deal with her again. She deserves every bit of pain she has caused me, she ruined my relationship with my beautiful mate and I will make her pay one way or another.
