Arthur threw her off of him and stood up. Brushing dust off the shoulders off his cloak. Revan yelped and quickly recovered. They walked into the town. Cutting right through towards the abandoned tower. The people of the town were giving them odd looks. Despite the cloaks. Both of their looks weren't exactly normal. He heard whispers among the crowd. Most of them recognized Revan as a member of the Zephyr house. But did not recognize Arthur at all.
'Checks out…this guy hasn't exactly done anything noteworthy in his life. Most people don't even know he exists.'
Arthur is an outlier even among his own family, the only one with blonde hair. Which he inherited from his late mother. Arthur remembers thinking it only as a curse and not some memento of his mother. It was almost scary how fast he was getting used to this life. The memories of his past were slowly starting to drift. He sighed as they continued walking through town and the stares eventually stopped. The town of Somer really wasn't all that stunning, it was as quaint as it was bland. Exactly what you'd expect out of a fantasy world, a random filler town.
He noticed a man standing off to the side at a shop. He was wearing black and gold mage's robes. A shiny blue stone hanging out the side of his pocket. Arthur nudged Revan and made her look. She looked at the man and looked back at him.
"Follow him?" Arthur simply nodded, they ducked behind an alleyway. Waiting for the mage to walk past. They slipped behind him once he walked past. Very quietly trailing him. Of course, it was very hard not to be caught. When barely anyone crowds the streets in Somer. So whenever the mage diverted his attention elsewhere they visited a shop. Once the mage exited the town he looked around him. Not noticing anything out of the ordinary and continuing to walk towards the tower. They jumped out of a nearby bush and swiftly followed behind him. Once the mage unlocked the door to the tower they swiftly jumped towards him and stomped him out. He yelped as they knocked him unconscious and dumped him elsewhere. Revan hold the door open while they both slipped inside after grabbing the blue stone from his pocket.
"That was easier than I expected..."
