Yu Qi woke up from her sleep, prepared a quick breakfast for the family, and finally began getting ready for school. As she left her room, she took a brief, silent glance at the "family" members who were already busy eating the meal she had made. Without a word, she left the house quietly, slipping away before anyone could demand anything more from her.
Yu Qi walked slowly toward the bus stop, her mind calm. After a few minutes of waiting, the bus arrived. She stepped on, paid the fare, and moved to the back to take a window seat. She turned her gaze outward, watching as the familiar scenes of the town began to fill her view.
'Master, where are you going?'
Yu Qi suddenly heard Bo Ya's curious voice echoing in her mind. Instinctively, she looked around the bus, but she could not find him anywhere.
'Master, you don't have to look for me out there. I am inside you, Bo Ya explained. Master, you can speak to me just by using your mind.' Bo Ya knew that if his master started speaking out loud to thin air, the people around her would certainly think she had gone crazy.
Yu Qi relaxed her body against the seat, relieved that she could communicate through her thoughts. 'I'm going to school', she answered mentally.
'School. What kind of place is that?' Bo Ya asked.
'It is a place where people in this world go to study and learn.' Yu Qi replied.
'Oh, that sounds just like our pagoda in the space.' Bo Ya chirped happily.
'Is that so? I will have to check that out later.' Yu Q promised.
The conversation between them drifted off as the familiar silhouette of her school came into view. She pressed the stop bell, and the bus pulled over.
Naturally, she exited the bus and began walking through the main gates. Many students were already milling about the courtyard. Relying on her past memories, she navigated the halls to find her classroom. It felt both nostalgic and incredibly weird to be back here.
Because her soul was already twenty-six years old, she felt a strange mix of emotions being surrounded by teenagers. Walking toward her assigned seat, she found it placed in the very last row right beside the window. The perfect spot to observe without being noticed.
She sat down and turned her head toward the window. From her vantage point, she could see her adopted siblings, Wang Fu Ya and Wang Ha Na, stepping out of the family car.
Wang Fu Ya was her classmate, while Wang Ha Na attended the middle school section. Since the school campus consisted of both high school and middle school buildings, they always arrived together.
The reason Yu Qi never rode in the car with them was simple. She was frequently bullied by her classmates. Her siblings did not want to be targeted by association, so they refused to acknowledge her as a family member in public.
In her previous life, Yu Qi had been far too kind. She did not want her siblings to suffer, so she had silently endured the bullying all alone. Thinking of her past self's naivety, a small, cold smile played on her lips.
"Hi, slut. How was your weekend?"
Speaking of her bullies, three girls suddenly approached her. One of them tried to greet her by roughly grabbing her hair to force her to look away from the window.
However, the girl who grabbed her hair suddenly let go, recoiling instinctively after seeing Yu Qi's face. Yu Qi's eyes had turned icy and dangerously cold as she stared at the three girls.
She looked like a devil that had just crawled out of the depths of hell. The girls actually shivered from the sudden drop in the "temperature" of the room.
"I... I will teach you a lesson later, slut!" The girl stammered before quickly running away from Yu Qi's seat.
