Madam Sheng showed Yu Qi the room before leaving her alone inside.
'Bo Ya, can I enter the space?' Yu Qi asked.
'Master, you don't need to ask. You can enter whenever you want. It is your space anyway.' Bo Ya said.
'I want to ask you something. When I enter the space, will it only be my consciousness, or will my whole body enter as well?' This question had been bothering her for a while.
If her entire body entered the space, Madam Sheng might think she had gone missing if she came into the room and discovered that Yu Qi had disappeared.
'Master, don't worry. You can choose whichever method you want. The space allows you to enter with your physical body or only your consciousness. However, if you want to improve your body, it is better to enter with your physical body. Here, we have a lot of books and resources that can help strengthen and improve your body. If you only want to study or read, then entering with your consciousness is enough.' Bo Ya patiently explained.
'Okay."
She quickly climbed onto the bed and positioned herself as if she were sleeping. She only wanted to enter the space with her consciousness for now.
If Madam Sheng came into the room and saw her lying like this, she would probably assume that Yu Qi was simply sleeping.
After making herself comfortable, she slowly closed her eyes.
The next moment she opened them again, she found herself standing inside the space.
Bo Ya immediately ran toward her and crashed into her body with excitement. Since he was much shorter than her, he could only hug her legs tightly.
Yu Qi felt slightly dizzy from the overly warm welcome.
"Master, I missed you." Bo Ya looked up at her with an extremely cute expression.
"Missed me? Didn't I just talk to you a moment ago?" Yu Qi gently patted his head.
"That doesn't count because I couldn't see your face." Bo Ya's expression quickly changed from excitement to sadness. He lowered his head slightly before continuing, "I was afraid that you didn't want to see me. It has been a very long time since I had a master."
Yu Qi smiled warmly. It was obvious that this little boy felt insecure. She bent down and picked him up.
"Don't worry. We will always be together. If you miss me, just tell me. I will come and see you." Her voice was soft and comforting.
"Master, thank you."
"Let's enter the pagoda. I am really curious about what is inside." She walked forward while still carrying Bo Ya in her arms.
"Master, please put me down. This is embarrassing for me." Bo Ya protested with a slightly red face.
Yu Qi laughed when she heard that and gently put him down.
Bo Ya then walked ahead of her proudly and said, "Master, let me guide you." He clearly wanted to show her how amazing this pagoda was.
Yu Qi stepped inside the pagoda. The interior was incredibly spacious the moment they entered. The entire place carried a faint vintage Chinese atmosphere and scent. Yu Qi immediately liked it the moment she saw it.
In her previous life, she had once visited a famous pagoda in Myanmar, the Shwedagon Pagoda. The unique beauty of that pagoda had fascinated her so much that she spent a lot of time researching its history afterwards.
However, the pagoda in this space did not lose out in terms of uniqueness either.
This pagoda was built with eight-sided edges, forming a rather distinctive structure. Yu Qi could not even guess how many floors the pagoda had.
But the strangest thing was something else entirely.
This pagoda seemed to have a lift.
"Bo Ya, you told me that this pagoda has existed here for a very long time, right?" Yu Qi asked.
"Yes." Bo Ya looked at his master, patiently waiting for the real question that Yu Qi wanted to ask.
"Then… why does a lift exist here?" Yu Qi raised her finger and pointed directly at the lift.
"Well, Master… I actually don't know about that. It has been there for as long as I can remember." Bo Ya also felt a little confused by the question.
"Well, okay. If I think about it logically, this entire space itself is already something abnormal. So what is so strange about having a lift inside a pagoda?" Yu Qi laughed when she reached that conclusion.
"Master, this pagoda contains unlimited knowledge. You only need to find it in the right place. Let me teach you how." Bo Ya grabbed her hand and pulled her toward something that looked like a large mirror.
Bo Ya asked her to stand in front of the mirror.
Then the mirror slowly began to awaken… or at least, that was how it seemed.
"Master, what do you want to find?" The mirror actually spoke to her.
Feeling a little lost, Yu Qi turned toward Bo Ya, who was standing beside her, hoping for some explanation.
Bo Ya understood the look his master was giving him.
"Master, this is Mary. She takes care of the pagoda. Well, her role is similar to a librarian in your world. Just say the thing that you want to learn about, and she will guide you to the floor that contains the knowledge you seek. Master, you can try it yourself. Only the master of this space can use her… and that means you." Bo Ya stated.
'This space really has an advanced system.' Yu Qi thought to herself, feeling impressed with whoever had created this pagoda.
"I want to learn about medicine." Yu Qi said to Mary.
"Medicine. Confirmation… medicine." The mirror paused for a moment before continuing, "Master, please enter the lift. I will send you directly to the medicinal floor."
The lift doors slowly opened.
