That's enough out of you," Tsunade growled at me.
With a grumble, I raised my hands in surrender. "Fine."
"Sorry about that, he's just a little frustrated from being a bit behind schedule," Tsunade spoke, trying to mend whatever bridge I was trying to burn. With a snort, I turned towards the best boy and noticed that he was looking off into the distance.
Shifting to see what he was looking back at, I then noticed the flying blonde hovering just outside of the privacy field. Sigh, I guess today was going to be a bust then, PRT showed up and scared off the E88, and now Laser Dream of New Wave was here.
Tuning back into what Tsunade was talking about with the PRT, I heard Assault asking about the hospital. Then she slapped them with a 'CLASSIFIED!' Hot damn, I just might fall in love, I was already a robussy lover, which made me a man of culture.
After chuckling at the expense of Battery, Assault finally cleared his throat, "Well, this has been great, but I gotta ask. Do you mind coming down to HQ to pick up that bounty?"
With a snort, I leaned forward and snatched up the little blocker from the table, "Yeah, that's not gonna happen even if an Endbringer drops out of the sky. Whoever handles the bounties can deal with my lawyer. And it's not like only the PRT can distribute those bounties."
That made both of them uncomfortable, but I paid it no mind as I got up and went back inside to place another order of patties. When I came back out, the big fluff ball was on all fours while getting scratched under the chin. Things went this way for a time and I even let Arcanine enjoy his five new patties. What I did have to put to a stop though was the kids trying to have my big pupper take them on a ride over the bay and back.
Assault and Battery and left with their tails between their legs after I pointed out the plain-clothes agents they were rolling with. Tsunade was talking with Laser-Dream and I was fine with just relaxing and enjoying the sun. When I listened in, I heard her offering her mothers number and a few other things.
"So, here is Lady Photon's cape number if you want to set up any patrols," Laser Dream was pitching.
Tsunade turned her down with a smile. "I do appreciate the number, but we aren't capes, we're not even Parahumans." Tsunade said with a chuckle, "How about you take my card, and come by the hospital when you get a chance. It's only March now, we can set something up with the hospital and see if you can pass for an internship."
Laser Dream tilted her head to the side, "Hospital, which hospital?"
"The old hospital in the docks, it's under new management," I called out as I broke into the conversation from the side. This kicked up some murmurs around us but I ignored them as I gave my doggie a pat.
Laser Dream though was on the uptake as she quickly looked at me with raised brows, "Isn't that like a little close to Merchants and ABB territory?"
I snorted, "Gangs don't get to take territory in the United States."
Laser Dream went to speak and then stopped herself as she thought about that. "Cool, I'll let Amy know so she can swing by."
Tsunade snorted at this, then held out her hand, a green glow blaze to life. A fresh spring feeling if rejuvenation burst forth and bathed the little area. "I'm already a certified healer, but I don't mind if she comes by and speaks with the others."
Laser Dream stopped as if she got caught off guard. "Wait there are going to be more healers? That's great!"
Tsunade got up with a chuckle while giving me a look which means it was time to get back to work. Getting up, I gave a nice long stretch while Arcanine did the same, his mouth going wide with a yawn. Tsunade shook Laser Dream's hand, then with a hop she straddled across Arcanines back. The crowd gave space but mahh boy didn't need that much space.
