After stopping everything, I checked it all over with a fine tooth comb until I discovered the problem. Turns out that the tesseract was the weakest link. It was only made with the thought of creating singular items or multiple items over a large scale. This means it would load a cross purpose beam capable of handling the load. The microbots connect to the tesseract and force it to split the load over multiple fronts.
With a hum, I broke down the tesseract, its parts floating around me as I glared at each part equally. The processor could handle the multi tasking but the emitter just wasn't up to task, so it needed changing. Well, I had no plans to work hard, so I cheated and I cheated hard.
Made a new version just in miniature and then hooked them both up to create more minimature emitters. Once I hit twenty, I slotted those into the microbots and then just pulled the main emitter from the tesseract. Then just set it to build and install emitters into the microbots.
Yeah, I wasn't about to redesign the damn cow when I already had a working hand.
There were a little over a thousand microbots before I put my next step in order. A wave of matte black rolled over the surface of my laboratory, crawled up the legs to the medical bed, then all went to work at once. Her blueprint was already updated into the systems. From her blonde hair to the little pinky toe of her feet.
The genetic template this time came from two people but I had the female as the dominant strain even as I used the guy's genetics for his quirk.
Glynda Goodwitch would be my stern no nonsense business lady worth millions of dollars not even the Number Man would be able to screw with. She would have basic telekinetic powers but the real catch was her quirk. Her main strike force would be Overhaul, but this world wasn't like MHA so she didn't have any stupid restrictions on her abilities. As if Kei couldn't just stamp his feet and use his quirk. So much wrong with how easy it was for them to just crush someone with powers that vast.
Anyway, with the combination of quirks, I'll be able to keep her true to character like she was in the Rbwy universe. It wasn't like I had anyone here to unlock her aura…..
My thoughts stop as Crafter provided me with a machine that could unlock anyone's aura, they just needed the gene code. Well, I'll be damn, didn't see that coming but I should have.
I didn't have to wait long for Glynda as the microbots pulled back as her chest sealed up. I do wonder if she will like some of the Neir Automita tech I added. She wouldn't be Glynda Goodwitch without that riding crop if I was being honest.
Again, I felt that spark in my chest as I looked at her sleeping form. It pulsed in time with my own heartbeat and I could feel it fighting for a release. With a calming breath, I reached out and pushed that spark from myself and into Glynda.
With a startled pull of air, Glynda's eyes snapped open as she came alive. I held her hand while she got her bearings and I couldn't help but smile at her.
"Sir?" Glynda asked while slowly sitting up.
"Take it easy," I replied with a smooth baritone while holding up a small pen light. "Follow the light please."
With that, we went through the motions, and reflexes were good. Hand-eye coordination had no problems, she was even able to relay the information I had prepped for her background and the retcon machine.
Once everything was checked off the boxes, I helped her get dressed then allowed her to get accustomed to the life she was going to live. I on the other hand had far more work to do as I turned back towards the medical bed, another blueprint already coming to mind. It was time to build my blue babe that would be my lady in the chair for so many adventures to come.
A dash of Doctor Catherine Halsey's DNA since the neural scan went into creating Cortana, so it was only right. Then as I crafted her bones with vibranium honeycomb structure, I decided to spice things up with some Xgene. Along with the X Gene from Cypher, I decided she might as well also carry the techno-organic gene. I still carried my own omega nanites with the extremis virus, but Cortana would come in as a strong second to me, but a first on this planet.
