Chapter 26 - Chapter 26

The only person who didn't get a focus was Glynda, because I wasn't going to let a focus clash with the dommy mommy thing she had going on. What I did do was to redo her glasses and just build the focus into that, allowing her access to the smart system.

Getting up, I gave an idle wave to the ladies as I made my way out of the cafeteria and waited in the elevator with mahh boy. We took the elevator down to the second floor and when the doors opened, I stepped out to find the microbots hard at work.

This had been something in the works the moment I realized that I could bring Pokemon to life, and that was my own personal safari zone. No way I could put this on Earth Bet, not with them going all Nilbog scared of every damn exotic creature on the planet.

Arcanine looked around at the empty floor, then looked back at me and tilted his head to the side. I gave him a scratch underneath his chin before I could tell him to have a little patience. There was a ding from the microbots as they had confirmed that all dimensional anchors were now in place. Giddy excitement exploded out of me with that sound, and I could barely contain myself. Stepping back into the elevator, I waited for the doors to close with Arcanine at my side before giving the command codes to the system.

A panel showed an insert for a fist, and I didn't even give it a second glance. My gauntlet exploded over my arm as I inserted it into the slot, then, with a twist, the world lit up with a green glow. Arcanine was growling as he looked all around, but he calmed down as I ran a hand over his side.

When he turned to look at me, I gave a reassuring nod of my head at him. With mahh boy settled down, I then finished the command sequence.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed, I thought that the elevator would shake like it was out in a hurricane and a few fancy lights. All I got was a flash, and that was it before there was a ding as the double doors to the elevator opened again. Arcanine was a little lost when we both stepped out of the elevator and into the wilderness, but I was ecstatic.

This might have been a side question of mine, but alot had gone into getting things to this level. Having the portal gun was one thing, but using it to connect one earth to the next was hard as all hell. Not only that, but I also had to find an Earth that was free of all life and I do mean all life. The only thing around was untamed lands but other than that, there was an entire new planet to explore.

A command of thought and the snap of my fingers had the microbots pour in through the elevator entrance and start creating the very first Pokemon center.

Turning away from that, I pulled mahh boy close, double checked his collar. It would suck to not be able to locate or track his movements. I then waved my hand around us, "You can go and explore, all for you."

*WOOF* *WOOF*

I chuckled at that, "I'll add more pokemon once I get the chance."

*Woof* Arcanine gave one last bark before licking half my face off, then he vanished with a burst of speed.

My smile turned flat as I turned back around and walked through the only portal onto this planet. Hitting the button for the elevator, I waited for it, then rode it to the 7th floor. Stepping out, I walked to my office, found the trio already there waiting on me, but no words were shared as I took my place at the head of the table.

There was no point in enjoying the view, this was time for all business. Pulling out my little green notebook, I typed the number, and its extension. It rang two times before the line was picked up.

"This is General Hackett's residence." The gruff no-nonsense voice rang out from the other end of the line.

I cleared my throat once, "General, this is Grey calling."

The silence hit for a beat, "Anthony, my boy how has it been, doing good I hope?"

"I have sir, thank you sir, but sir, this isn't a social call." I spoke with a little half smile on my face. He wasn't the Admiral that I knew back home, but I did my research, and General Hackett was a good man that cared about those under his command.

Well, the ROB did the research for me, but I at least double-checked his work.

"Hmm, alright," General Hackett replied before a hard shutting sound came from his end of the line. "Alright son, lay it on me."

I took a breath, then shoot my shot. "Sir, how would you like to stick it to the PRT and bring back the might of the American Military."
