Chapter 32 - Amnesia Revival

"BB! What did you do?"

"We're jumping ships. Quick, throw the body to me!"

Scott did so as the stragglers were taken out by the hell hounds. Those hell hounds were then taken from the equation for a short time as when Sugar and BB caught the body, they found Alexander the Great to be taller than they ever expected.

"This guy is like three hundred pounds!"

"Quit complaining. Now, we set him down."

"Now what?"

"We go down with the ship."

"What?"

"We need to be in close proximity to dirt in order to use necromancy. Just follow the process. We need to die because I need to talk to someone. Dr. John and Lia will be getting out on the lifeboats."

The Tempest Tide slowly sank as Lia and Dr. John had been in the lifeboats. Bit by bit, the rest of the crew had gotten onto the lifeboats as well as Scott almost going down with the enemy's ship. After some time, Scott had woken up in the water. He must've hit his head and yet he was awake enough to swim downward. He lost all sense of where he was. He saw the Tempest Tide and had swum towards it. I can't let BB go. Not after this long.

"BB!"

His voice was muffled by the water, but he remembered something, it was necromancy. He held his hands out and wished with everything that he could that it would work. As the last of my men, I forgive your sin. Come back to life, retrieve the strife. Build your crew, they aren't few. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the ship had rose from the ground of the sea. Scott's head hurt. He used a bit of the psychic skills he learned some time back to hold his skull together and to move himself towards the Tempest Tide as the ship reformed with its captain and apprentice rose.

"Sugar, get the first aid kit!"

He did so but found out something really quick about the first aid kits, there was one for Scott in particular. It was waterproof, fireproof, and overall, destruction proof. Inside was a six pack of homemade moonshine and ingredients for a gin and tonic.

 "What is this?"

"He's a recovering alcoholic. Come on, Scott. I can't lose you now, not after everything that you've done for us. Not after everything I've done for you."

BB had a unique physiology, see, he had the end eyes, so he knew that it wasn't Scott's time. But he also had psychic abilities to help him make it into his old age. Then there was the plain part of him being a natural born genius. He could read and write by age three.

"What do you mean he's a recovering alcoholic?"

"See, when I met him, his gun never ran out of bullets. Then I found out he never went to school. He can bend reality to his perception."

"What does that mean?"

"If he fires twelve bullets from his gun, then he miscounts it for eleven, he has one more left in the chamber."

 "How did that happen?"

"See, he was a psychic his entire life and it was awakened when his family was killed in a robbery. So, now we have a hyper psychic on our side."

"Wow. Did the necromancy ever even exist?"

"The answer to that, I don't have."

BB finished his gin and tonic and poured it down Scott's throat.

"Come on, why don't we use the normal stuff?"

"Simple, he just thinks that alcohol makes him a superhero."

"You truly are a genius."

"Not the first time I heard that."

Scott sat up confused.

"Hey wrinkles, where am I?"

BB cracked a smile. He rarely did that, even in his enlightened age. His best friend was back.

"I've never missed you more."

Upon waking Scott back from the verge of death, Bb lifted Scott up with a wave of his hand as he made the winds bring his crew back to him.

"Seriously, where am I?"

BB's smile faded in an instant.

"You're on the Tempest Tide. I'm BB, your best friend."

"Why am I so small? I don't know anyone named BB."

The captain's lip began to quiver. A small tear formed in his red eyes as his face contorted all its muscles to move towards his mouth.

"You're joking."

"Of course not!"

"Oh no..."
