Warning: Torture, SA, Attempted Grape
Noah is in his backyard away from the house. There was a large tree that lost leaves every minute. Noah decided that would be his target. Noah lifted his arms toward the tree and waited for a leaf to fall. Not long after, one came down. Noah focused hard on that leaf, picturing it reversing its action of falling like he had done to that mutant. But nothing happened.
Noah shook his head and then tried again. When another leaf fell from the tree, he pictured what he felt when that mutant was coming at him, and his arm was shaped like a wooden sword. Noah recalled that he felt fear and panic. Noah tried to channel those emotions onto the leaf, but still nothing happened. Noah kicked the dirt and yelled, "What's the point? I can't even get a leaf to do as I want! I don't even know what my abilities are." Noah said as he sat on the ground, tears forming in his eyes.
'Why am I even trying to use my abilities? Wouldn't it be better to never use them and act like I'm normal?' Noah asked himself. Noah thought back to the mutant going forward at him. Yes, he was scared, and yes, he was panicked, but what was he thinking at the time? I wanted him to stay away from me. Noah realized maybe it's not about commanding an action, it's about picturing the outcome. Another leaf fell slowly from the tree, but when Noah raised his hands, he did not picture the leaf's actions; instead, he pictured the leaf being back on the tree as if it had never fallen. Noah's hands glowed blue, and so did his eyes, as the leaf lifted up, reversing its course of descending and going right back on its spot on the tree.
Noah smiled and fisted the air as he yelled, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Noah practiced a few more times on the leaves, but this time he would not only reverse time on the leaves, he would also fast-forward time on the leaves. Seeing a leaf on the tree and picturing it landing on the ground, but unlike his rewind, where his hands and eyes glowed blue with his fast forward, they shone a golden yellow. Noah felt confident and decided to work on something more extreme.
Noah slid his backpack off his back to bring it in front of him. He then unzipped the right side pocket to reveal a butterfly knife. Once Noah got the butterfly knife out, he put his backpack back on. Noah looked from his butterfly knife to his hand. He hated getting hurt, but he knew that he had to test this ability on himself. Noah held the butterfly knife in his right hand and held it toward his left arm. 'Just one small slice.' Noah told himself, and then he sliced his arm. Noah winced in pain, and tears formed in his eyes.
Noah willed his power to heal the wound, to make his arm look like it did moments ago, but nothing happened. Noah tried again, and still nothing happened. He then tried another method instead of rewinding to fix the wound; he decided to fast forward to when the wound would be healed. Noah's eyes glowed golden yellow, and the wound started healing itself. It healed completely until a small scar formed. 'No way am I keeping that.' Noah thought, frowning at the imperfection the scar gave to his left arm. Noah tried to rewind repeatedly, all attempts failing. Noah realized it was much more difficult and took much more of his energy to rewind than to go forward.
Noah tried one last attempt, but he really did not like the scar on his arm. He willed everything into it, and as his eyes glowed blue and blood ran down his nose, he watched as the wound slowly unhealed itself. Then the cut got smaller and smaller until it was gone. Noah looked on with satisfaction before passing out in the grass, not seeing the strange man in the forest watching his every move.

Harry would never think of himself as a stalker, not even when he would constantly keep an eye out on the most perfect family in the world. Instead, he would convince himself that he was just keeping an eye on them to make sure they were safe, but really, he was obsessed with them. The perfect family. Harry watched as, oddly enough, Andrew left for church, but this time without his perfect wife or his perfect kid.
'My God, the kid looked like an angel. How do you get lucky enough to have a child look like that? Then Mary was beautiful, her body perfectly sculpted. Her wide, brown puppy dog eyes seemed to hold all the innocence that the world had to offer.' Harry envied Andrew's life, for to him, he was the perfect man with the perfect family. He had immense wealth and a cult following. What more could a man ask for? And yet here he was, leaving his perfect family alone at the house. Harry took his sweet time watching Mary in the kitchen as she cooked, but when she closed the blinds on the windows, Harry frowned. 'If she had seen him, she would have gotten Noah from outside. The woman has good senses.' Harry thought. Harry, no longer able to see the beautiful, decided to go watch the perfect kid.
Harry saw that Noah was quite far away and stayed hidden in the forest as he crept closer and closer to him. Once close enough, he frowned, seeing Noah hold a butterfly knife. Not usual for a boy his age to have one, just as it's usual for him to have one. Then Noah did the unthinkable: he slit his arm. Harry nearly gasped out loud. He saw Noah concentrate and noticed that his eyes turned blue, but nothing happened. Harry was too shocked to form thoughts, which was until he saw Noah's eyes glow light gold and the slit on his arm heal and form a scar. 'He's a demon!' Harry thought. 'Does his father know?' Harry asked himself before answering himself. 'Of course, he knows that man always knows when someone is a demon. So he's keeping it hidden?'
Harry was getting upset as he thought of all this. Gone was the image of a perfect family; it was a family of frauds. Harry watched as Noah's eyes glowed blue and blood ran from his nose; he was rewinding the scar till it was gone from his flawless skin. Noah then passed out. Harry's eyes widened, and for a second, he just stood there, that was until his lips widened into a large smile. Harry walked forward until he was over the boy. Harry then bent down and gathered Noah into his arms, his head resting onto Harry's shoulder. "You're quite the beautiful demon." The man whispered into the air as he walked to his red rusted truck. Harry always had rope and duct tape in his truck. Harry only used the duct tape as he taped Noah's hands together, legs together, and ankles together. Lastly, Harry put tape over the boy's mouth and then laid him in the back of the truck.
Harry went to the abandoned shed that got him started in this whole business and brought the boy inside, where there was one chair in the middle of the abandoned shed. Harry flipped the light switch on and put Noah into the chair. Harry undid the tape along with taking Noah's clothes off, leaving him only in his underwear. Harry then used the rope to tie himself down on the chair. He closed the shed, locking it, and then he waited for Noah to wake up. Time passed by, and he grew up patient. "Wake up, Noah!" Harry yelled, which stirred the boy awake. His eyes widened as he noticed he was in an unfamiliar small room stripped down to his underpants with Harry in front of him.
Harry had Noah's butterfly knife in his right hand, but his eyes were glued to Noah's bright, light blue eyes. "To think you were a demon this whole time." Noah tried to defend himself as he opened his mouth, but Harry stopped him from getting close to his face. "Shush, Shush. It's okay, I understand. I would not tell anyone as well if I became a demon." Harry was real close to Noah with the butterfly knife next to his throat. Noah had tears streaming down his face. Harry wiped one of the tears and brought it to his lips. "Even your tears are heavenly. I would like to break your protection, but it should be okay to break it for now, as you can just turn back the cloak. Make your body new again.
Harry then plunged the knife into Noah's right hand. "AHH!" Noah screamed and tried to jump from the chair. Harry put a hand over his mouth and watched the red blood pour onto his pale as snow skin. "So beautiful." Harry didn't stop there as he started slicing into Noah's skin in many places. Noah was losing a lot of blood and losing consciousness. "No, no, you can't sleep yet." Harry unstrapped Noah from the chair and laid him on the floor. Harry unbuckled his pants. But didn't get far enough when the door to the shed was slammed open and metal shards from the lock went at Harry.
Erik arrived in the shed, his eyes filled with fury. "I'm only to make your death so slow and miserable," Erik promised as he shifted the metal shard all throughout the human's body. Harry screamed out in misery.
Charles Xavier was beside Noah. He had tears in his eyes hearing what all that Noah had to endure before they arrived. Noah looked in bad shape, like he was going to die any minute. Charles went into Noah's mind, "You have to use your mutant ability, Noah!" Charles nearly screamed. Noah's eyes fluttered open. Erik was done with the monster named Harry, so he was watching what was happening. They both saw as Noah's eyes glowed golden-yellow. Noah was too weak to reverse the damage; he had no other choice but to fast-forward the damage. The wounds healed at a rapid rate, but it seemed like the power was on autopilot as his body also aged.
Charles saw what was happening and panicked. Noah had to stop; he was aging himself. "You have to stop Noah!" Charles yelled once again in his mind. Noah tried to stop, and Charles saw that he tried, but he couldn't stop. "I apologize, but I have to take control." Charles Xavier put his hand to his head to help concentrate, getting into Noah's mind. Charles got in and cut off Noah's powers for him. Noah passed out on the floor, but he no longer looked like his young fourteen-year-old self; instead, he looked nineteen.
Well, Noah has finally gotten to use his mutant abilities, and he got to meet with Charles Xavier and Magneto, but at what cost? Our main character is scarred in more than just one way. Sorry for the dark chapter. Personally, for me, writing it, I was getting Tokyo Ghoul vibes.
