Once in the pack house; Ashton and I started our patrol. We needed to check the border and all pack members. The scent of silver is in the air and we didn't receive any urgency. Did we arrive before the attack? I explained to Ashton and Jonathan what I read before they arrived to pick me up. They were equally confused but they agreed to check the borders. We did intensify the training so the warriors are stronger. But minors do go out and run off.
They always daring each other to see who is braver than who or who is faster than the other. It is normal and it doesn't matter what scolding their parents give there will alw/ays be those who don't care and are in the rebellious stage. Jey was escorted out as we do not trust vampires much. Doesn't matter if he is trustworthy by the King but vampires are unpredictable. Even more if they haven't drank a drop of blood in days.

I stopped moving and my blood runs cold. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. I can hear Oliver behind me talking but I couldn't fully catch what he was saying as my mind was racing. If she goes into the Victoria's Secret store again how will I explain the banker the transaction amount. I know my black card has no limit but whenever I go to withdraw a large amount the man is always staring at me as if I am the one buying from that brand. I clenched my fists but I just shifted and ran towards the border. Sometimes I feel like I am the one being too lenient with her. But she is basically like a little sister.
It is my own fault that I have spoiled her. I felt the floor moist and the wind cold. The season is near and it feels completely good. It has been so long since I have shifter. Even more; I haven't come and checked the borders. The way my heart is beating and the excitement of this run completely relaxed all my muscles and my speed increases. But I felt someone collide with my own body. I growled in anger and kicked them off of me. We jump apart and that's when I noticed an Alpha in front of me. Jaqueline? She is wounded. She looks back from the position we collided and there on the tree was a net. Wolfsbane all over the net. Traps in the pack territory.
How did this happen?

Her pack and the Alpha King have been looking for her. I looked back to her wolf form but she was already gone. All I could see is her retreating figure running away. She saw something. All the wounds in her body means she was fighting for her life. Someone hurt her and it seems she was unable to mind link with me. So her blood is poisoned with wolfsbane.
I howled loud and clear. A warning. Once I stopped howling all the voices came flooding into my mind. Luckily Sarah is too far away to hear the howl so it's all the pack who heard it. Possibly Jeremy as well as I am near his border. If there is a traitor is it the one the Moon Goddess told me about. I looked around and started sniffing all over the floor and the air. Wolfsbane can be distinguished and so can silver but if hidden with mud or dead leaves it can be hard at times.
If they know how to camouflage then we need a new type of training for the Warriors and the upcoming warriors. I looked around and searched for the Warrior Wolves from this zone. Is it because of the Wolfsbane around this zone? I tried linking with Ashton but nothing. I growled and howled for Ashton. Notifying I am ok and still in the pack. I hate this.
'I can't believe this is happening in the packs all around the world' I thought to myself as I started jogging around. Making sure nobody is around. I can't find anyone here. I can't even sense someone here. I heard howling at a distance. The two of this zone are safe and it seems they were in their lunch break. Maybe that is how they got in. Seems like we will have to do rotations again. I stood at the very edge of Jeremy's border and there stood a huge wolf. Jeremy. He looks completely ready to open my throat and kill me in one swift move.
Jeremy is slightly larger and muscular than my own wolf form. Well he is from the Alpha bloodline. I took one step back on instinct as his alpha blood is radiating out of him. I need to head back. I need to prepare for the date I have with my mate. I heard a step and I looked back to Jeremy as he took another step forward. What is he even doing?
Is he entering my pack?
What does he want?
Did he confuse my howl?
Something is completely wrong here. I sat down and just watched him confused. He stood at the very edge of the border and just stared me up and down. He then stares at his own fur. He huffs and walks away. Rude much.
I stood up from my location and headed towards the pack house. I know everyone must be waiting for us. I need to get human contractors and remove all the traps. This wouldn't be the first time we contacted humans to remove traps. But it was common for human animal hunters. Being that our "wolves" are protected species. This are protected lands. We also have other species combined with Jeremy's and Jaqueline's territory to make things more official.
I started running back towards the pack and I could feel others running. I didn't answer on time so I ran a bit faster until I met five of the warrior wolves and Ashton. All in wolf form. I signaled with my head towards the pack house as the mind link is not working.
'Once we finish here I will let you know once we start going home' I heard Sarah's voice in my mind. A single voice. Everyone must be waiting for an explanation for my howls earlier. I lead the way to the pack and noticed the females already placing the outfits outside for us. They did point towards the shower room. We jogged slightly and that's when I noticed the mud in my fur and dead leaves.
Seems that they cleaned the pack house and do not want us to touch the floors in this state. I huffed and we all walked to the showers. For this exact reason we built those showers. Training as many females do not like the scents we emit when sweating.
What should I wear when my mate arrives?
Where should I take her for our date?
Is the picnic in plan?
Are the snacks ready?
Are there cold drinks?
I know my mate drinks alcohol but from what I saw she likes the sweet and fruity drinks instead of the ones I am use to drinking. So beer is out of the question. I sighed out. I need to think more about everything. I want to learn more about my mate. I know somethings she will never reveal to me. We are still learning about each other.

Just thinking about the future with my mate is already hectic enough with everything that is happening. Once we arrived at the showers we started shifting back into our human forms. One of the warrior wolves went to the other bathroom. Females and males are separated. We respect each other and our privacy's. Sometimes a male or female warrior wolf at time chose to change alone. So there is also a private shower. I think the Japanese in their culture call these bath houses.
I wish in my pack territory were hot springs. Last time I traveled to one of the Japanese packs or Chinese packs they have these secret hot springs where humans are not allowed but none humans are welcomed. I got to enter those waters and I was in heaven. I felt completely at peace as I wanted to take my mate but I do not know if they will make an exception.
I will give them a call later. Maybe they will let me take her or recommend one with interspecies. As sometimes we have partial transformation or hints of our unhuman traits. So fangs. Claws. Instead of human ears my wolf ears would pop up or even my tail would show.
