The city lights are shinning bright today as the decorations where making everything sparkling. I sighed out and glanced at my mate. She is looking at everything with amazement. Has she never come to the city before? Her eyes are bright with life and curiosity. The eyes of a child getting something amazing. I did need to park the vehicle. Usually there is valet parking but I remember once waiting for hours for my car to later find out that one of the Valet employee's had taken a joy ride.
Luckily I was in a very good mood that day so I just went back inside and ordered drinks while I waited. The employee did get fired but I am not risking anything stupid while I am with my mate. I want her to have fun instead of getting annoyed by immature employee's. Though I have never seen my mate mad or annoyed in a way that I will regret it. I lowered the radio just to hear the jumbled sounds of music.
Shops. Bars. The Plaza. All had music. Different kind though. Something flashed by the corner of my eye and so I glanced. A photographer in the plaza. He seems like an amateur but I can work with it. There were family members and a few couples. But still slightly empty. It is the first night of the light show. Next week is the real thing. I couldn't stop smiling as my I felt such excitement for todays date. I have this whole week planned for dates.
Do the things we haven't done yet since we met. I Noticed a parking near the play area. Perfect. At this time there are no children and the restaurant is near by. Once fully parked and the car is turned off. I wanted to tell my mate that we're hear but when I looked to the passenger side she was already getting out of the car.
I felt my heart drop as I looked around in panic. No cars. I quickly got out of the car to follow her ass. She is such in a hurry. Did she see something that I didn't? I pressed the button to my car alarm making sure it is locked and the alarm is activated. No risks. It is an expensive car after all.
I followed her gaze and I saw the children start to play around as the Christmas music started playing at a distance to my left side. On the right an up beat music from the bar. I use to go there with Ashton and Jackson to relax my anger whenever I wanted some normalcy. The restaurant we are going had a different Christmas song playing. Though in the plaza the song called Jingle Bells is playing but the instrumental version.
My mates excitement can be felt once again so I wrapped my hand on her own. I love feeling our bond. She turns to look at me and I saw the brightest smile ever until she relaxed a bit. A relaxed type of smile. I think holding her hand calmed her down a little bit.
I wanted to hum the the rhythm but I am following my excited mate in the plaza. The bouncer at the restaurant noticed me and I gave a sign that I will be there soon. He nods in agreement and I followed my mate a bit as the songs instrumental version had gotten louder. Mentally the lyrics to the song Jingle Bells played in my mind.

I chuckled slightly as I noticed kids playing Pokemon Go on their phones while their parents are talking with whoever it is. I glanced at my mate as she looked at them curiously. Should I tell her something? Should I say something stupid? Should I remind her about our reservation? I shouldn't remind her she is curious at the moment so I will just follow her lead for a little bit more.
Her eyes sparkled thanks to the decorations around us. She smiled at the sight of the paper snowflakes. It is adorable. This is completely her first time being here. Meaning she had a completely hard life. If we had never met; How would her life be? Would she be running away? Was she being hunted back then as well? Maybe she was hunted but never knew what.
Her mom may be one of the culprits as I still remember the fear and anger in her eyes when I interrupted them at the party. She started walking straight to the Christmas Tree. This year they outdid themselves. This is really beautiful, near the fountain no less. I felt my phone vibrate again and so I pulled it out this time.
Whoever is texting me I might have like ten unread messages by now. I released my mates hand as she walked ahead. She is still in my view so I unlocked my phone. There on my screen were messages by one of the executives. Confirming the late payments to the employee's who got wounded by the fire. The employee's also accepted a job at a different location.
The pay is increased as this is one of the factories I own. Two employee's sadly denied do to the amount of burns they received and their information is left with my secretary. In which the rest of the messages came from her. She had sent me the information and the confirmation of hospital payments for all the employee's. Why so many messages instead of sending it to me by email like a normal employee. I sighed out and so I locked my phone placing it inside my pocket.
The song changed finally. I looked up towards my mate as she stared at the giant tree. I walked towards her with a warm smile until I heard her voice. Smooth as an ice cream. Sweet as sugar. Soft as silk. I could listen to her sing every day if I could.

"You're voice is very beautiful my love..." I lean close as I tell her with a warm smile
"You heard me?" she asked me in an awkward tone
I tapped my ear as I spoke softly "Sensitive hearing... I love how you sing I would love to hear it more..."
"One day..." she tells me while blushing
I remembered the Karaoke that has private rooms and are sound proof so I tell her with a gentle smile "Well I know a place where they have karaoke... It's private if you wish"
"It must be expensive... No... I don't want you to spend so much" she tells me as I saw how her body started swaying softly
"Oh don't worry my love... I finally found you and I will completely spoil you" I tell her as I pull her body against my own
That body is mine and the way she was moving I will get jealous if another male sees her dancing that way. Or moving in that way. I held her tightly to me and I just felt completely happy having her against my body.
"Excuse me... Would you like for a photoshoot?" someone spoke
It's the photographer and I looked down to him so I spoke with slight dominance in my tone "I don't care the price... You better take a lot of pictures and I want them all... I don't care if they are blurry or random... I want them all"
Seems like he wanted to take pictures of us so why not pay for it though. I won't accept anything for free. Even more if my mate is involved. I heard a gentle giggle and I looked back to my mate.
She places her hands on my chest as she spoke "Now who is spoiled?"
I looked at her with a big smile and I spoke softly to her "I want everything to be a memory... I want to keep it all..."
"Alright... I will let you do this..." she tells me with a sly smile
I heard the click of the camera causing her to giggle I don't know why but seeing her like this makes me happy. I would change positions as the man instructed and I felt my heart flutter in joy. I will make sure to have records of all our dates. I should hire a photographer for the rest of the days. Hire them like a paparazzi. That way my mate can stay as natural as possible. I noticed the kids and so did the photographer but my mate and I said we don't care if they showed in the picture. It is better in a way. More natural even though we are following his instructions for the poses and moving from different parts of the tree.
I kept kissing her and hold her tightly against me and she kept giggling each time I gave her a kiss around her face. I think only once she held in her giggling as I really wanted one where I kissed her on the forehead but she stayed still but after the click she giggled.
Suddenly the fountain was turned on and I saw her glance towards it. She looks genuinely surprised. It is that time either way that they turn it on but I didn't expect it to have such lights there. I think this is the perfect time. I signaled the photographer and so I released her from my hold. I know this isn't what humans actually expect as promise rings are never used as a proposal way but I want everything special for her.
I was on one knee as I wanted this to be special and recorded. She turned around and she looked at me confused. Her head slightly tilted.
"I know we haven't been together for so long but... I want you to have this... A promise ring... I will promise to love you and keep you safe and this will signify the seriousness in my heart!" I spoke calmly as I didn't want to scare her
I saw tears start to stream from her beautiful face and I felt my blood run cold but when she smiled I felt relief as she asked me "You sure you want me to be your girlfriend?"
"I want you to be my future wife..." I corrected her
"Yes..." she spoke to me as she got into my arms
With human speed I held her tightly against me and spined her around in excitement. I heard people in the background but I didn't care at all. All I cared about is my mate. My beautiful mate. I saw her face flush slightly and it just brightened my whole soul. I placed her down as I didn't want her vomiting all over us. She looks gorgeous in that red dress.
I placed the ring in her finger seeing her stare at it with joy made me even happier. She isn't picky about rings. I have always heard from Aria before her coma that no matter the female or male. There are always a ring that they want for their wedding day. What is my mate's dream wedding ring? Will I ever know? Or is she the type that doesn't care? Right now I won't ruin the mood so once she looks at me I gave her a kiss.
Nothing sensual. Nothing spicy. Just simple and gentle. I felt her arms surround my neck and I felt her open put pressure in our kiss. I wanted to kiss her deeply but I have to control my urges. I heard clapping around us and I separate from the kiss. I smiled at her as I love this little human of mine. I stared at her beautiful eyes as something was nagging me at the back of my mind.
What was it that we were doing again?
Remembering that we are on a date I smiled lightly as I spoke "We should go back to our date... I have so much planned out..."
"Alright... Next time I wanna return and just see if we can feed the squirrels" she tells me excited
I glanced around until I noticed the signs of feeding the squirrels. I forgot all about that. But if I remember correctly someone sells specific food for the squirrel. I nod at her in agreement as she just stood straight. The people started chatting between themselves. The photographer had a big smile in his face as he knows he will get a lot of money. So we went back to posing as I wanted a few more pictures with the love of my life. I also wanted pictures of just my mate causing her to giggle but she did her best to model a bit.
Once everything was done the man went back to his little table to print it out the pictures so I followed him. I felt a gentle tug on my dress and I looked down. I saw the sign for the amount of money and phone number to send the money. Newbie. He is charging really cheap. I'll just give him half of what my personal photographer chargers me. I saw how each picture printed while he edited some in his laptop.
For a moment I thought it was going to take half an hour or something but he placed the pictures taken into a USB and also handed me the printed ones. I already sent him the five hundred dollars to his account. He looked at me shocked. I stopped him before he could complain and thanked him slightly. I looked back to get my mate but she was gone. Panic rose inside of me.
I followed her scent in a rush but she wasn't far just not in my peripheral vision. I sighed with relief as I got close to her. I saw a man and woman. He was holding the little girl tightly. I felt confused.
"It's alright... I was happy to help" she tells the man with a gentle smile
She was just helping so I spoke as I neared her placing my hand on her shoulder "There you are my love..."
"Yeah... Just helping the little girl find her parents" she told me with a smile
"Papa... Big wolf..." I hear the little girl say a bit loudly
"Big wolf?" I heard my mate ask and I felt my blood run cold
'Does this child know I am a werewolf?'
"Oh the dog..." the female spoke softly
The scent of a dog hits my senses and I relaxed a little bit as I spoke to Kira while staring at the three "I am happy you helped them love... We should go... We'll be late for our reservation"
They were staring at me and I can see it in their eyes. They are hunters. The child's scent is not theirs. A seer. I cannot risk anything. Seers can see us at such a young age but once they are able to control their powers they are unable to see what species is what just by staring at them. Young ones are unable to control their visions or eyes.
If the child is not a seer then the child escaped a near death experience and is able to see through the gifted eyes. It is rare but it has happened before.
"Ok love... Let's go..." the voice of my mate snaps me out of my thoughts
I saw her wave goodbye to them but I led her away. I saw her eyes go to my hands. She noticed the two envelops. I held my mate tightly as I still feel their eyes on us. I have to stay in a happy mood. I can't ruin it for my mate. I even felt her eyes on me so I looked down with a fake smile. I hope she doesn't notice it's fake.
This is our date. Nobody shall ruin this fun for us.
