The words Meera said to Lorentz kept echoing in his mind again and again. Because of that, he decided to go and tell everything to his father, Cyrus. But when he went there, Cyrus had gathered everyone and announced in front of them, "From now on, Lorentz will be the one taking care of this place."
Because of what Cyrus said, Victor and Stephen started planning to remove Lorentz from their way. However, Lorentz went to his father Cyrus and told him everything, saying, "I didn't come here for power or position, but because I couldn't ignore what was happening."
Even though Lorentz refused to take part in any illegal dealings, Victor found out everything and cornered them. During that confrontation, Victor held them at gunpoint. When Cyrus was dying, the only person beside him was Lorentz. Before passing away, Cyrus revealed several important secrets to Lorentz and then died.
Only Lorentz knows what those secrets are. That's why Victor wants to capture Lorentz alive—to find out what Cyrus told him. But none of us knew whether Lorentz was alive or not. When we saw Ranga, we realized Lorentz might still be alive. So Victor ordered us to kill Ranga, believing Lorentz would come out of hiding if Ranga was killed.
However, you saved him, and because of that, we ended up killing Ranga ourselves. Even then, Lorentz never came out. That's when we understood that Victor wasn't after the warehouses, dealers, or buyers—he was after the secrets Cyrus mentioned.
Cholan then told harold, "Sir, let's release Lorentz's photo officially through the media and newspapers. We might get some information about him that way. Unofficial searches aren't possible."
But Harold disagreed, saying, "No, don't do that, Cholan. Ranga was sent to give us some information. Unfortunately, he died. If Lorentz finds out about Ranga's death, he'll contact us himself—or even meet us in person."
Harold then ordered robert to keep watch over the place and told him not to add any extra security, saying, "He'll come on his own. Just make sure Karikalan keeps an eye on the area."
During the attack, some officers were hospitalized, and one person died. Around one o'clock that night, Harold was informed of the incident. He immediately set out to the location. While driving, four cars surrounded him and started chasing. One of them hit his windshield with a rock, blurring his vision.
His car swerved into a nearby forest and crashed into a tree. Harold got out and tried to fight back, but two trucks arrived behind the cars. Dozens of men came to kill him. He managed to fight off many of them, but he couldn't hold out for long. One man stabbed Harold in the abdomen with a knife, and as another tried to strike again, a smoke bomb went off.
Harold fainted, and when he regained consciousness, he found himself in a hospital. A masked gang had rescued him and brought him there—but they had disappeared.
After recovering and being discharged, Harold returned home. Cholan was there taking care of him, which made Harold very happy—he felt proud of the young man watching over him. But Harold couldn't bring himself to tell Cholan that he was actually his father.
Cholan was happy spending time with Harold. One rainy day, he went out to buy food for Harold. During that time, a parcel arrived at the house. Harold went to collect it and found that it contained several files. He opened it, but when Cholan came back with the food, Harold quickly locked all the files in a cupboard.
After dinner, Harold went to sleep. The next morning, he told Cholan, "I'm feeling a bit weak. Go home and take some rest."
After Cholan left, Harold brought all the case files to the table and began examining them. The documents contained information about The Black Fox: details of local warehouses, histories of government officials, politicians, and officers across three countries, along with solid proof of corruption.
Among the documents, Harold noticed a diary. On the last page, there were a few words written in blood—it was an address: West Mount, Thalvar.
Harold tried to find the address but couldn't locate it anywhere. So he asked Cholan to trace it. When Cholan checked through hackers, he discovered that the place was located at a shared border area of three countries—deep within a mountainous region with very little technology.
The village was called Thalvar. During ancient times, when wars took place, people from this village supplied weapons like swords and spears to various kingdoms. Even now, some royal families still rule certain areas, and the mark of royal authority is known as Thalvaar. That's how the village got its name.
Cholan explained all this to Harold. Just then, Cholan got a call—his father, Karikalan, had been admitted to the hospital due to illness.
After hearing this, Cholan and Harold went to the hospital. Later, Harold left for West Mount alone.
He found the parcel office and confirmed that the address written on the box was indeed the parcel office itself. When Harold asked who had sent it, the staff replied, "This parcel belongs to the office, but no one came here to deliver it. It was already inside the drop box. We didn't send it to you."
That's when Harold realized someone must have personally delivered it to his house and left. Curious, he went to Thalvar Village mentioned in the address. After exploring the area, he returned, but the journey left him uneasy.
While coming back, he stopped his car in front of a house in the village. The gate was nearly a kilometer from the house, and there were several dogs tied outside. As Harold approached, the dogs started barking loudly. He pressed the calling bell, and when the door opened, Harold was utterly shocked—because the person who opened the door was…
