The moment Victor drew his sword and swung it, everyone shut their eyes in fear. But before anyone could react, Harold saw that the sword Victor swung was caught mid-air — by Cholan. Seeing this, Harold immediately took the sword and struck Victor across the face. Victor collapsed to the ground unconscious.
As Lorentz took out his sword to strike the fallen Victor, several helicopters suddenly surrounded them. The force surrounding them was WCAO — they encircled the entire area. The army head of WCAO, Azar, got down from a helicopter and ordered everyone's arrest.
Lorentz and his men were captured immediately. Cholan was given first aid inside the helicopter and taken to the hospital. Lorentz, Harold, Christy, Meera, and Karikalan all stood there with heavy hearts. The doctor said that the wound was deep and saving his life would be difficult. Lorentz and Harold were also arrested and taken away.
Victor had a deep wound across his face and had lost vision in his right eye. All of them were taken to the WCAO headquarters and locked up. The once-powerful Black Fox Empire, which had ruled for many years, was now facing its first downfall. Through Cyrus, Lorentz, Victor, and Stephen, the empire that had influenced three nations was finally collapsing. WCAO collected every bit of evidence about Black Fox and sent it to the top authorities.
Lorentz and Victor were both interrogated, but one person's identity — the one who leaked the entire information — remained unknown. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Cholan was kept under high security by WCAO, and even his family was provided protection. WCAO's high officials decided to interrogate everyone separately.
At the hospital, a girl repeatedly asked the guards if she could see Cholan, but they refused because of security protocols. Christy kept pleading with them every day to allow her to see that girl. The girl, meanwhile, sat near Cholan's bed, crying silently. When Christy asked who she was, the girl said that she and Cholan studied in the same college and that Cholan had liked her from the start.
The girl's name was Thara. She had no parents and grew up in an orphanage. Cholan met her during college and liked her the moment he saw her. For a month, he had quietly followed her, too nervous to speak to her. Eventually, his friends found out about it.
One day during an exam, Cholan sat at his bench and Thara entered the hall. He wished she'd sit next to him, but she was assigned to a different bench. The professor, however, reshuffled the seating between CSE and IT departments, and Thara was placed beside Cholan. He was overjoyed but tried to hide it. Still, he couldn't act casually and was visibly nervous.
Behind Cholan sat a student who passed a copied answer sheet to Thara. She looked at it and handed it to Cholan, who was about to throw it away when the exam squad entered. They checked Thara's paper and accused both of them of malpractice. The squad demanded to know whose paper it was, threatening to record both their names otherwise. To protect her, Cholan claimed it was his. As a result, he was suspended from the exam, and Thara felt terribly guilty.
After the exam, she searched for Cholan everywhere but couldn't find him. The next day, he came early and sat under a tree near the ground — his usual spot. Thara came and sat beside him. She apologized and thanked him for saving her. Cholan smiled. She asked if he was angry with her and why he wasn't talking. He replied, "If you really want to say sorry and thanks, then buy me a tea." Thara laughed, and they both went to the canteen for tea.
From that day, they became close friends.
One day, Cholan noticed Thara always brought the same lunch. He asked her why, and she said her mother didn't know how to cook anything else. Hearing that, Cholan felt sad. Thara then revealed that she had lost her parents young and grew up in an orphanage. Cholan apologized, but she smiled and said, "Why are you sorry?"
The next day, when they sat for lunch, Cholan brought an extra box and gave it to her. He said, "My mom made this for you." As she opened it, he added softly, "If my mother were alive, she would've cooked for you like this." Tears filled Thara's eyes — she was deeply touched. From then on, they understood each other even better.
Later, Cholan took Thara home and introduced her to his parents. Days passed, and soon both confessed their love for each other and started living happily.
