Chapter 1 - The Miracle of love

Ramish was an ordinary man — just a small character in the vast, indifferent story of life. He was 32 years old, a father of three, and a responsible husband. His days revolved around work and duty. He spent his time laboring at a private farm, and at night, drained and weary, he would lose himself in drama series on TV.

But that night... something was different.

A new Thai drama began to play on the screen. And there he was — Richer — a radiant face with an innocent smile, surrounded by shimmering lights. He was 25 years old and live in Thailand. There was something in his acting — a gentleness, a purity — that touched Ramish's heart. For the first time, he felt something stir deep within him for an actor. The very first silky thread of love had been spun.

Ramish tried to dismiss the feeling. "I'm a married man," he told himself. "A father of three. I shouldn't be thinking like this." But feelings aren't governed by reason. Every night, Richer's face appeared before his eyes. Every smile, every tear, every scene pulled Ramish's heart deeper into a web he could no longer escape.

He began to pray — from the heart, from the soul — that somehow, just once, he could see Richer in real life. He begged God, "Let me meet him... even if it's only for a single night."

And then, one evening, as the sun disappeared behind the horizon... wings began to grow on his shoulders.

These wings gave him the power to fly—but only at night. With the first light of dawn, that power would vanish. And until he returned to the ground, no one could see him.

On the very first night, Ramish felt his wings and soared into the sky. In mere moments, he reached Thailand. But he had forgotten—Thailand wasn't a small town.Where was Richer? How would he find him?

He searched the streets, alleys, bars, and markets. The night passed, morning came, and Ramish had to return empty-handed.

This continued for many nights. Each evening, he flew out in search of Richer, and each morning, he returned with a broken heart. He grew silent, withdrawn, speaking to no one.But then, one night, a moment came that breathed life into his love.

Richer was stepping out of a bar with his friends. Ramish followed silently. As Richer reached his home, stumbling in a drunken haze, he nearly collapsed—but Ramish caught him just in time. For a fleeting second, Richer felt someone's presence. But overwhelmed by his intoxication, he brushed it off.

Ramish gently laid him on the bed, removed his shoes, fixed the blanket, and sat beside him, just watching.Richer's lips were mesmerizing. Ramish softly kissed them—but instantly, his wings began to burn.He had broken the rule: a touch without permission. As punishment, his wings were taken from him for a whole week.

Those seven days were nothing short of torment.

Every evening, he gazed at the sky, begged for forgiveness, and prayed for his wings to return. And after a week, God accepted his repentance.Ramish could fly again. Overwhelmed with joy, he went straight to Richer's house—only to find he wasn't there.

The next night, when Ramish returned, he overheard Richer's mother on the phone saying Richer had gone to another city for a shoot.Ramish decided to follow him there.

He arrived at the location where Richer was filming an action scene. Just as Richer jumped, his foot slipped—he was about to fall when Ramish swooped in and caught him mid-air.Everyone was shocked to see Richer unharmed, but no one knew who had saved him.

Questions began to rise in Richer's mind:Who was protecting him?Every time danger neared, he was saved—yet his savior remained unseen. He was puzzled, yet unaware.

One night, when Ramish arrived at Richer's room, he found him burning with fever. There was no one at home to care for him.

Ramish placed cold compresses on his forehead, flew back to his own city to buy medicine, returned to cook him soup, gave him medicine, and stayed by his side the whole night.

He had forgotten that with the arrival of morning, his powers would disappear.

When Richer woke up in the morning, he saw a stranger sleeping beside his bed and was startled. His scream woke Stranger. As Ramish opened his eyes, he realized that Richer could see him. He looked toward the window and understood that it was already quite late. He tried to fly—but failed.

Ramish pleaded with Richer to stay quiet, but Richer didn't listen and began running around the room in panic. Ramish tried to stop him, and both of them fell onto the bed. Gently, Ramish asked him to calm down and told him everything truthfully.

Richer didn't believe him. So, Ramish reminded him about the day of the shooting—when he had almost fallen—who had saved him then? Richer was stunned. Ramish explained that he had been looking after him ever since. He showed him the medicine and the soup from the previous night—things not from this country. Only then did Richer start to believe him.

Before the conversation could finish, Richer's parents returned and started calling for him. Ramish begged him not to tell anyone and to give him a place to hide. Richer assured him and said, "Just hide in my room. No one comes in here."

Ramish was deeply worried—what must his family be thinking? What if Richer turned him in to the police? He might never be able to return. Richer got busy with his family and forgot that a person was still trapped in his room—someone who also needed food and water.

Later, while watching a TV drama with flying people, Richer suddenly remembered Ramish. He rushed back to the room and found that Ramish didn't look well. He asked his name, and Ramish told him. Then Richer asked when he would leave. Ramish replied, "Once evening comes. I can't leave before 11 PM."

Richer noticed that Ramish didn't look okay. On insistence, Ramish confessed that he hadn't eaten since last night. Richer felt guilty. He asked, "What do you want to eat?" Ramish replied, "I only eat halal food."

Richer was surprised.

Then his parents informed him they would stay out for the night, and the servants had already left. So he would be home alone. Richer helped Ramish to the kitchen. There, he asked what among the available ingredients he could eat. Ramish said, "Just make me some eggs and soup."

Richer prepared eggs and soup and served them to Ramish.

Ramish had dinner, and then the two became engrossed in conversation.Richer asked, "Why did you come here? And why did you save me?"

Ramish didn't hide anything for even a moment. He spoke with honesty, "I love you. Everything I did, I did because of that love."

Richer was stunned by what he heard. It was all unbelievable to him. And when he learned that Ramish was married and had three children, his surprise and unease only deepened. Both fell silent.

What was going on in Richer's heart and mind, Ramish couldn't understand. And Richer himself didn't know what to say in the face of it all. After a long silence, Ramish quietly asked, "What's your answer?"

Richer averted his gaze and replied, "I need time to think."

Evening came, and it started to rain. Ramish knew flying in the rain would be even harder. But what hurt even more was that after his confession, Richer hadn't said a single word. Eventually, around 11 p.m., the rain stopped. They went up to the roof. Ramish opened his wings, bid Richer farewell, and flew away.

When he reached home, everyone was worried. Ramish made an excuse that he stayed at a friend's house, but his explanation didn't satisfy anyone.

Ramish was both happy and anxious — happy that he'd told the truth, but anxious because Richer still hadn't given him an answer.

A few days later, Ramish fell ill and couldn't go to Richer. Once he recovered, he went to Richer's house as evening fell. Richer, in a harsh tone, said, "Why are you here?"

Richer's reaction was shocking to Ramish.

"There are no feelings for you in my heart. Don't come here again," Richer said coldly.

Those words hit Ramish like a storm. He begged Richer to give him a chance, but Richer flatly refused. Ramish turned invisible and went to the rooftop, where he sat alone and wept.

When Richer came upstairs, he heard someone crying.

"If it's you, Ramish, then come out," Richer said.

Ramish appeared. Richer said, "There can be nothing between us."

Ramish flew away and returned home eating or drinking. He went straight to sleep. Richer thought he would never return again — but after a few days, Ramish came back. Richer was intoxicated. Ramish supported him, laid him on the bed, and began to look at his belongings.

Richer half-opened his eyes and saw everything. Ramish sat beside him and began to speak. Thinking Richer was unconscious, he poured his heart out:

"My powers are tied to your love. Since you don't love me, they're about to vanish. This is my last month. After this, I'll never be able to see you again."

Saying this, Ramish began to cry.

Richer opened his eyes, held Ramish's hand, and said, "Love can't be forced."

Ramish was stunned. He softly said, "I've realized now that you can never love me."

Ramish pleaded, "Just spend five nights with me during this last month. I want to fulfill a few small wishes."

Richer remained silent for a while, then nodded.

Night One: Ramish's First Wish

This was Ramish's first wish — that he and Richer would cook together and share a meal side by side.

Ramish prepared a special and delicious dish straight from his heart, something he had always dreamed of making for Richer. Richer, too, made a new and tasty dish with great affection for Ramish. The kitchen echoed with laughter and joy as they cooked — they playfully threw flour at each other, shared bursts of laughter, and occasionally stole glances when the other wasn't looking.

Once the meal was ready, Richer decorated a beautiful table especially for Ramish — vibrant flowers, soft candlelight, and an atmosphere filled with fragrant warmth.

Dressed nicely, they sat at the table. They fed each other bites of their creations and talked for a long time — about life, love, dreams, and the things that mattered deeply. Ramish's first night turned into a cherished memory. Even Richer felt something unusual — something he had never quite felt before.

As the night came to an end, Ramish silently looked at Richer, whispered goodbye, and flew into the sky.

Night Two: Ocean, Dance, and Joy

It was the second night — Ramish waited eagerly to meet Richer. And surprisingly, Richer too found himself waiting for Ramish that evening.

As soon as night fell, Ramish arrived at Richer's place. Richer opened the door with a quiet smile, welcoming him in. Tonight was special. Richer had planned to take Ramish out — to show him the pulse of the city, the cool ocean breeze, and the rhythm of life.

They first went to a beautiful restaurant, glowing with magical lights. They ate together, praised each other's tastes, and then walked toward the sea.

At the beach, they played like children — splashing water at each other, racing through the sand, and laughing uncontrollably. Ramish felt like time had paused, just for them.

Afterward, Richer took Ramish to a mall, where they picked out clothes for each other. For the first time, Ramish experienced the world like an ordinary man — no wings, no magic — just Richer by his side.

Then they headed to a dance bar. With music pulsing through the air, they danced freely and wildly. They teased each other, laughed together, got close, pulled apart — it was a night that carved something unforgettable into both of their hearts.

On the way back, they looked at each other, smiled silently, and then Ramish lifted into the air and flew back home.

Richer closed his eyes and, deep inside, thought, "Maybe... there really is something about him."

As for Ramish — he spent the whole night reliving each moment, smiling to himself — as if those few hours had given him an entire lifetime of happiness.

The Third Night: Separation and Waiting

The next day arrived, and Ramish was full of excitement — it was the third night, the night he and Richer were supposed to meet. His heart brimmed with joy, anticipation, and eagerness. But fate had something else in store.

Suddenly, Ramish fell ill. He tried with all his might to fly, but his wings refused to respond. Every attempt to lift off brought sharp pain. At last, with one final, desperate effort, he lost consciousness.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a hospital. He looked at the clock — the night had passed, and the third night was gone. A deep sorrow settled on Ramish's face. Just one question echoed in his mind: "What will Richer think?"

On the other side, Richer was restless too. He had waited the entire night for Ramish, fully believing that he would come — but he didn't. Richer stayed awake, tossing and turning, unable to sleep. A strange unease weighed on his heart, one even he couldn't understand.

The fourth night came. Richer still believed Ramish would show up. But once again, Ramish didn't come. This time, Richer's face reflected a mix of anger, sadness, and emptiness. Meanwhile, Ramish spent the whole night crying, his eyes flooded with tears — knowing only one night remained, and after that, he would never be able to see Richer again.

He turned to God in prayer:"Ya Allah, just give me one last chance… one more night…"

His prayer was accepted. With the first light of dawn, his wings returned — but only for one final day and night.

This time, Ramish didn't wait for nightfall. As soon as he could, he soared through the sky and reached Richer's house. Richer, who had spent another sleepless night waiting, had finally dozed off from exhaustion.

Ramish quietly entered his room and sat by his bed. He saw that Richer's dinner lay untouched — perhaps he hadn't eaten at all. Ramish said nothing. He simply sat beside him, gazing at Richer as he slept. Every moment, every breath, he tried to etch him deeper into his memory.

At noon, Richer slowly opened his eyes and was startled to see Ramish sitting beside him, silently watching.

In a flash of anger, Richer said, "Now you show up? Do you have any idea what I've been through these past two days and nights? I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat!"

Hearing his raised voice, Richer's family rushed into the room in panic. Thinking quickly, Richer said, "It's nothing — I was just rehearsing a scene for acting."

Ramish instantly vanished.

Once everyone had left, Richer turned back to the empty space and, still fuming, asked, "Where were you? And how did you even get here this early?"

Ramish, reappearing with a gentle smile, asked,"Were you waiting for me to come?"

Grinding his teeth, Richer snapped, "No! Why would I wait for you?"

Ramish still smiled and softly said,"Richer, you look even more beautiful when you're angry."

For a brief moment, something flickered in Richer's eyes — but he quickly masked it, hiding whatever emotion had dared to rise.

Ramesh told Richer everything truthfully."I had fallen ill," Ramesh said softly. "And when nothing else was left, I prayed to God."

There was a pause. His breath was heavy."The prayer was accepted, Richer… and I was granted my wings again just for this morning. But after tonight, all my powers will be gone forever. After that, I won't be able to see you, disturb you, or even come near you again."

Richer remained silent for a few moments, then gently said,"Yes, I remember… I promised I would make tonight unforgettable for you."

He stood up."Let me freshen up first, then we'll decide how to spend this day and night."

Ramesh smiled and said,"I don't want to waste even a single moment today, so hurry up. And yes, let me wear your clothes today. I want to feel your scent in my breath."

Richer laughed and said,"Alright, alright, I remember."

He returned freshened up and handed Ramesh his best suit. When Ramesh wore the suit, the shirt fit perfectly, but the pants were a little long, so he folded them.Wearing Richer's clothes, Ramesh felt like he was wrapped in Richer's embrace.

When Ramesh came out ready, Richer smiled and said,"You look great, Ramesh!"

"Come on, let's go eat outside."

They both stepped out. Richer opened the car door for Ramesh, which made Ramesh smile with joy.Richer took him to a beautiful restaurant where he had already booked a romantic couple's table — to fulfill Ramesh's wish.

When the food arrived, Ramesh took a spoonful and offered it to Richer, who laughed and ate it.While they were still eating, a musician began playing a soulful tune on the violin.Ramesh stopped eating and just kept staring at Richer.

Richer smiled and said,"Eat your food — why are you staring like that?"

Ramesh softly said,"Will you dance with me?"

Richer shook his head."There are too many people here… This is enough for now."

Ramesh's face fell slightly, but he didn't want to spoil his last day with Richer — so he smiled, pretending like nothing happened.

After dinner, the two went for a long drive.

On the way, Ramesh said,"I want to watch the sunset with you today. There's still an hour left — let's go to the beach."

Richer turned the car towards the sea.

After a while, Richer noticed Ramesh's silence and asked,"Aren't you happy?"

Ramesh, still looking at the sea, said,"I am… and I'm not."

"What kind of answer is that?" Richer asked with surprise. "A person is either happy or not — not both."

Ramesh gently replied,"I'm happy because I get to spend this whole day and night with you…and sad because from tomorrow, I'll never be able to see you again."

Hearing that, Richer fell silent.

They reached the beach, and Ramesh said,"Let's sit on that dune and watch the sunset."

They both sat down and began talking.

Ramesh said,"Every time I see the sun setting, I'll remember this moment with you.Today's sunset with you… it's something special. So beautiful."

Richer silently gazed at Ramesh — as if he wanted to say something, but the words were stuck.

As the sun set, Ramesh said,"Come on, let's walk barefoot along the shore."

They started walking by the waves, and Ramesh gently held Richer's hand.Richer glanced at him, said nothing, and continued walking silently.

Ramesh recited a couplet:

("I've endured your every word in love,And now sit in the market of hearts — after losing everything.")

Richer listened to the verse and just kept looking at Ramesh — silent, lost in thought.

After a while, they returned home.Richer began preparing dinner for Ramesh while Ramesh quietly sat and watched him.

Then, Ramesh playfully took a bit of water from a nearby glass and splashed it on Richer.Richer laughed in surprise,"What are you doing, Ramesh?"

Ramesh threw more water and ran away.Richer grabbed another glass and chased after him.

They splashed water on each other and laughed — as if time had stopped.

Later, they changed clothes.Richer gave Ramesh another set of his clothes, and changed into something himself.

At dinner, Ramesh fed Richer a spoonful of food.In return, Richer fed Ramesh from his own spoon.Ramesh just stared at Richer, overwhelmed.

Richer smiled and asked,"How does my cooking taste?"

Ramesh smiled back and said,"Delicious… just like you."

"Food always tastes better when it's made by you, Richer."

Ramish smiled and added, "Even a bland dish becomes delicious in your hands."

Richer let out a soft laugh, "Oh Ramish, you always praise me a little too much."

Ramish spoke gently, "Come on, let's finish dinner quickly. I have so many things to talk about with you… and so many wishes to fulfill tonight."

Richer nodded in agreement, "Alright."

After the meal, Ramish made a heartfelt request, "I want to do a couple's dance with you."

Richer smiled, "Let me play a song for you."

He played a beautiful, soft romantic melody and reached out his hand toward Ramish.

Ramish took Richer's hand, placed his other hand around his waist, and pulled him close.

When Richer looked into Ramish's eyes, Ramish gently guided his other hand onto his shoulder.

Richer smiled, and quietly began to dance with Ramish.

Ramish softly said,

"I'm so happy… you're so close to me, and my wish to dance with you has finally come true."

Richer lowered his eyes in silence, quietly expressing his joy — as if his heart was speaking, but his lips remained sealed.

Deep inside, Ramish could feel that something had changed in Richer — as if the distance between them was beginning to fade, as if something had started to stir in his heart.

After the dance, when both of them were tired, Ramish said,

"I'm tired."

Richer also said,

"Me too."

Ramish looked at the clock — it was already 11 p.m.

"Didn't even realize how time flew," Ramish said with a smile.

"Now only five hours are left… before I have to go."

Hearing this, Richer's smile disappeared.

Ramish gently said,

"Richer, I can't bear to see you sad. You should be happy. After tonight, I won't come around to bother you anymore."

Richer immediately said,

"Don't say that, Ramish."

And he stepped forward and hugged Ramish tightly.

For a few moments, they both stood silently in each other's arms.

Then Ramish said,

"Wait here. I'll be back in just two minutes."

Richer asked with concern,

"You're not leaving, are you?"

Ramish smiled and replied,

"No, I just want to bring you something. Now close your eyes and wait for me to return."

Ramish went out to the garden, picked a beautiful red rose, and when he came back, he knelt down and said,

"Now open your eyes."

Richer opened his eyes to see Ramish holding roses in both hands, his head bowed as he said,

"A rose as a gift from me to a rose."

Richer accepted the flower, took Ramish's hands in both of his, and helped him stand.

Ramish said,

"I wish I could bring you all the happiness in the world, but I am not rich…"

Richer gently replied,

"I truly love this gift from you."

Richer took Ramish's hand, led him to his room, and asked,

"What gift would you like?"

Ramish said,

"The suit I'm wearing that belonged to you—that is my gift."

Ramish glanced at the time — only a few moments remained until midnight.

"I wish I could cut the cake with you," Ramish said sadly.

Richer explained,

"I brought a cake just yesterday, but my family has already eaten half of it."

Ramish cheerfully said,

"No problem, just bring that cake."

When Richer brought the cake, Ramish spread cream over the eaten part, making it look brand new.

Richer looked at Ramish in surprise.

Ramish placed candles on the cake and said,

"Come, let's cut the cake together."

Richer picked up the knife, but Ramish held his hand.

They looked at each other, smiled, blew out the candles, and cut the cake.

Richer fed a piece of cake to Ramish, and Ramish did the same for Richer.

Some cake got on Richer's lips.

Ramish gently placed his thumb near Richer's mouth, softly resting the rest of his fingers on Richer's face. He wiped the cake from Richer's lips with his thumb—then put that same thumb in his own mouth.

Richer blushed and stepped back shyly.

Ramish felt a restlessness in his heart—the time was slipping away too quickly.

Silently, he walked out to the balcony of Richer's house.

Richer saw him standing there and came over, asking,

"What are you looking at in the sky?"

Ramish said,

"This night that's fading so fast… I'm just watching it. I wish time could stop."

Richer also softly said,

"I wish that were possible."

Hearing this, Ramish was taken aback. He looked at Richer in surprise—had Richer really said that? A gentle smile appeared on Ramish's face, and he said tenderly,

"Come, stand with me and watch this fading evening."

Richer quietly came and stood beside Ramish. Both of them stood silently, gazing at the sky. There was a strange stillness, as if the entire universe had paused.

After a few moments passed in silence, Ramish gently held Richer's hand.

Richer looked at Ramish, but said nothing.

Ramish softly asked,

"How does this fading night look to you?"

Richer replied,

"You tell me first—how does it look to you?"

Ramish took a deep breath and said,

"I wish this night could stop right here. Every passing moment makes me restless. Just the thought of being separated from you eats me up from the inside. This night... and the promise of dawn… both seem to be whispering the message of our parting."

Richer quietly looked up at the sky and said,

"This night… it seems to be passing much too quickly."

Ramish then said,

"After tonight, whenever you come out to the balcony, be sure to look at the moon. I'll look at my moon too—through the moon's eyes, I'll see you every night."

Richer looked at Ramish—there were tears in his eyes.

Gently, Ramish wiped Richer's tears and pulled him into an embrace. And then both of them began to cry… silently, with a deep ache, as if something was breaking from the depths of their souls.

After a few moments, Ramish said,

"Will you really let me go, crying like this?"

Richer whispered,

"No."

Ramish looked at the time—

The night was entering its final hour.

"Just two hours left. The first light of dawn is about to appear."

Ramish held Richer's hand and said,

"Come, let me give you a tour of your own city."

He brought Richer to the rooftop and said,

"Place both your feet on mine."

As soon as Richer placed his feet on Ramish's, Ramish opened his wings and began to soar into the sky.

Richer was startled and clutched Ramish tightly in fear.

Ramish gently said,

"Richer, trust me."

Richer looked into Ramish's eyes—for a moment, all his fear vanished, and all that remained was peace and trust.

Ramish flew with him through the clouds, soaring above the city, showing him the glowing lights and quiet streets of his own hometown.

In the stillness of the night, with the stars shimmering above and the glowing lights below, both of their hearts seemed to be floating in another world.

After a while, Ramish brought him back down.

As they landed, Ramish checked the time—

Only one hour remained.

Ramish said to Richer,

"I want to tell you something, Richer… before it's too late and I lose the chance to speak my heart."

Richer softly replied,

"Say it, Ramish… I'm listening."

Ramish took a deep breath and said,

"Richer, I know that maybe you've never loved me.

But please remember, in this world, there is someone—Ramish—who loves you deeply, who loves you with all his broken pieces.

Despite all my responsibilities and the bonds of my existing relationships, I have loved you beyond words.

Richer, never forget my love… keep me alive in some quiet corner of your heart.

I know you are the sky, and I am just a scattered piece of earth—

There is no meeting point between the sky and the earth.

But love, Richer… love follows no rules. It just happens.

It sees no wealth, no poverty… it simply exists."

Richer's eyes were filled with tears, and Ramish was silently crying too.

A wordless silence, a deep ache, enveloped them both.

Ramish softly said,

"Richer, my time to leave is drawing near…

Before I go, I want to kiss your lips…

I want to touch your face…"

Richer silently stepped closer to Ramish.

Ramish placed his lips gently on Richer's.

He felt as if Richer's lips were soft like velvet, like a freshly bloomed rose.

They both became lost in that final kiss — as if time itself had stopped.

But suddenly, Ramish felt a jolt —

The first sign that his powers were fading…

His wings opened on their own.

Ramish understood — the moment had arrived.

If he didn't leave now, he would die for breaking the sacred laws.

He began kissing Richer's face — his eyes, his forehead, his cheeks…

Richer, who already knew everything in his heart, immediately said,

"Ramish… you have to go now. It's time for your final flight."

Ramish embraced Richer tightly,

"Richer… I love you so much. I miss you so much."

Through his tears, Richer replied,

"I love you too, Ramish. I miss you a lot."

The moment of parting had arrived…

Ramish said,

"As long as I'm visible to you, keep waving goodbye to me…"

Richer nodded through his tears.

With eyes full of emotion, Ramish soared into the sky,

"We will meet again, Richer…"

He kept flying, looking back at Richer.

Richer kept waving, kept crying…

And then came that moment — when Ramish disappeared from Richer's sight.

Ramish had returned home.

But his heart… it had stayed behind, with Richer.

Every night, Ramish would speak to the moon about Richer,

And hope — that one day, they would meet again.

But…

Would Richer continue to love him the same way?

Would his eyes search for Ramish in the moonlight…?
