Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: His Brothers

When Rami left, aside from Dark's group which was surprised with what happened, the students who were present didn't expect that the person who always stays low key. Doesn't even have guts to fight back and the one who they always look down at and is always subjected to discrimination, will have this explosion today. So, they don't know how they will react, since they felt the deep fear previously.

The Rami that they saw today is a totally different person to that cute little silent boy that always stays alone and not minding anyone.

They knew Rami as Rami Anderson. A scholar student of their High-Class University— Silverwood University— which only caters to the people who have their own good backgrounds People who are second-generation elites. In short, the young misters and misses their own families.

At the same time, they also knew that he is from the country side which they also think as lowly.

Despite the student's criticism towards him, Rami didn't care about them because he knew the truth. 'Cause you know, he himself instigated this.

He doesn't want to attract any attention from all of the people in this school.

It will only annoy him. So no thanks.

That's why, for convenience sake, he begged his brothers not to expose his true identity. Aside from that, he erased any traces of any information about him.

He knows all the bad rumors and bad comments about him. Though he just laughs it off. He didn't do anything. He really doesn't bother even a bit by it.

He just doesn't care whatever they say or what's their opinion. He just wanted to be close to his beloved even if it's just in this kind of way only.

Even if it's just him, sneakily glancing and watching to adore Dark already satisfies his craving for him.

Rami didn't even care about his studies.

This was also why he chose Silverwood University. To him, it was nothing but trash, merely an instrument to obtain his formal qualification and show he had graduated. Just a tool that would let him get close to Dark.

As for the Deveraux family which he bore today, it's also one of the powerful families, both locally and internationally.

Due to him not wanting the attention that a Deveraux usually receives. As he always felt embarrassed when people acted as if they were close to him, constantly trying to get near just to gain some of the family's influence. When he entered this school, he changed his name to Rami Anderson.

Well, he uses his mother's maiden name, Anderson. Anyway, only a small number of people knew that surname. Afterall, it's not famous. But, he was proud of that surname.

After Rami reached their house, he purposely avoided the people who are present now. Because he didn't want to deal with them. But unfortunately, before he went up the stairs, a voice called him.

"Your back." A voice casually said. Stopping Rami's track way back to his room.

Rami stayed still. He didn't turn to face the person, not wanting to let him notice his red cheek.

"What? You don't want to face me now?" The person asked again, this time, you can say that the person is getting impatient.

Not wanting to agitate the person, even if he knew that the person would surely question him about his red cheek, Rami faced him.

He was surprised to see Gray, his third eldest brother.

Gray was about to reprimand Rami but stopped when he saw Rami's cheek.

Rami averted his face slightly, because of embarrassment. He was about to climb through the stairs to escape when Gray pulled his arms.

He struggled but Gray was obviously stronger than him, so he didn't succeed.

"What happened?" Gray questioned Rami while he raised his hand to gently touch Rami's red cheek. Scrutinizing it while he intensely stared.

Rami stayed silent.

"Come on, you can tell me." Gray gently urged Rami. His voice is gentle this time.

"No, I don't want to talk about it." Rami finally answered while distancing himself away from Gray.

Rami is not used to being so close to Gray. Because he is the brother of his who is so cold looking and hard to approach. He always looks so aloof.

That's why, every time, he always takes caution when he is around Gray. Though he didn't hate him. Not even one bit. Instead, he adored and idolized him even.

Rami really loves this cool brother of his.

"Can you just let me go? I'm tired." Rami continued.

Gray glanced at his abandoned hand which was slightly suspended in the air, then he looked at Rami. He noticed that Rami seemed really tired and not in the mood so he let him go. Albeit wanting to interrogate him even more to know who did this vile thing to his precious baby brother.

"Go on, take a rest. But this matter is not yet finished." back in being cold, Gray told Rami.

Gray left, leaving Rami who started to climb the stairs to go to his room already.

At once, Gray went to the kitchen and commanded the attendant there to deliver a glass of mango milkshake and a slice of a strawberry short cake to Rami's room.

He and their other brothers know that food can really comfort Rami and it can liven up his mood.

After finishing his business, Gray walked towards their eldest brother's room which was located on the third floor.

As soon as he reaches their eldest brother's room, without knocking, he reaches out the door knob and pushes it hard making a loud bang.

His face finally exposed what he feels right now.

A frown formed within his handsome face. Even if his eye glasses were on. Anyone can see how his face crumpled with irritation and annoyance.

'How dare anyone lay a hand on their precious brother!!' Gray thought.

In the room, their eldest brother is on top of the bed, only wearing a white sando and casual sweat pants. He was leaning into the headboard reading a book.

Really handsome he might say. But Gray ignored that thought because of the anger that he is feeling now.

All can say that he is being overprotected. But what can he do? He is really super protective, he admits. Even if he didn't show it, especially for Rami for some reason, he did.

They do.

They CARE!!!

Hearing the loud bang, Astera looked up and saw Gray.

Seeing the crumpled face of Gray, he slightly furrowed his eyebrows questioning Gray silently.

Gray went to the bed and flopped his body into it, letting his body bounce a little.

Not getting an answer from Gray, Astera questioned him while he dropped his book into the bed. Giving his full attention to Gray.

"What's wrong with you?"

Silence filled the room.

After a while, Gray finally said something.

"Well, I saw Rami."

Hearing that, Astera's forehead furrowed again. He had a bad feeling about this. Gray wouldn't act like this if nothing bad had happened, especially with Rami, "And then?"

"Someone slapped him." Gray states, his face now is devoid of emotion.

A while ago, when Gray scrutinized the cheek of Rami. He saw finger prints that are a little visible, though it's not noticeable, in the hurt cheek of his.

He saw it all, nevertheless, his own self is also an assassin. What's more, he is good at observing.

The place was filled with a cold atmosphere. If ever someone will come in, they will surely feel suffocated and have chills all over their body.

"What?" Astera asks calmly.

Don't get him wrong, even though he appeared calm, on the inside, the flame of anger was slowly boiling. That was about to erupt.

"You heard what I've said, I don't want to repeat it again." Gray stated.

Astera stayed silent, not saying a word. But based on his face, he's plotting something.

"You know what to do right?" Astera asked Gray.

"Already did it. We'll just wait." Gray nodded.

"That's good."

Astera stood up from the bed then he walked slowly through the bedside table which contains his favorite wine near the big mirror which occupied the whole one side of his room. A wide sky and many tall trees came into his view. Though a little bit foggy.

After reaching the table, he slowly lifted the wine, opened it and poured some on the wine glass that was there. Once the wine glass was half way full. He lifts it up and takes a sip.

His face darkened more as he slowly sipped from the glass.

"Well then, let's just wait." Astera said to Gray.

The brothers were looking forward to the information that they will receive later. Looking forward to who has the guts to harm their precious little brother.

'Let's see who has the guts to do so.' Astera thought, then he unintentionally crashed the wine glass that he was holding.

When he finally realised what he did, he picked the table napkin that was placed on the side and slowly wiped his hand.

Wiping the blood that drips from the wounds that was caused by the crashed glasses.

Void of emotion, not feeling the pain from his wound.

Only darkness could be seen, settling on his dark hazel eyes.
