Amethyst was stoned where she's standing.
She did not expect the outburst of Rami. However, she never even imagined that someone would snap at her because no one, as in never, did she encounter this kind of thing or someone talked to her in that kind of way. But of course, her boss and colleagues were the exception.
Remembering what Rami said, she felt guilty.
She really regrets slapping Rami. She really didn't mean it. It was just that, she's not yet over with their encounter from that stupid detective.
Adding to that, the irritation and anger that she felt when someone bumped into her suddenly. It further intensified when she learned that Rami really did what she commanded, which she only spoke about accidentally.
Amethyst had already forgotten how much influence their group's words were once the students of this school heard them. That's why she also forgot that Rami will be bullied even more by them once he didn't comply with what she commanded him to do.
"Hey, come on, let's go." Ryuzaki said while pulling the still dazed Amethyst.
"I really didn't expect that outburst." Luca spoke softly.
"Me too, but what's done is done, let's just apologize to him when he calmed down." Garrette said, assuring them.
"Yes. I ought to do that. I should." Amethyst answered.
After that day, they let their subordinates search for Rami. Unfortunately, they didn't find him. According to some of his classmates, he didn't come to attend his classes.
They didn't give up.
They still ordered their subordinates to find Rami. Even assigned some of them just to stand by the entrance of Silverwood and wait in case he will suddenly appear without them knowing.
This situation lasted until on the seventh day, one of their subordinates informed them that Rami finally attended his classes.
When Amethyst learned that, she immediately went to search for Rami. Half way through, her subordinate informed her that Rami is on the back of the school where they can find a hundred year old tree which is currently where Rami is, enjoying his food.
Amethyst went there, not minding her colleagues which surprisingly, followed her.
Even though they are still quite far away, they could already see Rami eating. From their perspective, he seemed to be genuinely enjoying his food— smiling with every bite. He even swayed his body cheerfully as he took another mouthful, making him both pleasing to look and undeniably cute.
When they reached where Rami was, he didn't even notice them.
Rami is currently enjoying his food under the old tree at the back of their school. He really likes this place because he can enjoy the peace and quietness, especially for him, because sometimes he prefers to be alone.
While enjoying his food, he was startled when he noticed the people in front of him suddenly. He didn't sense them when they approached him.
After a while of staring at them, he averted his eyes and fixed them into his food.
'My food, it's your fault!' Rami couldn't help but to whine playfully towards his food because if he senses them a while ago, he will surely escape.
"Ahem—-" fake cough from Amethyst.
Not knowing how to start a conversation towards Rami. She glanced at the people who followed her, giving them a signal to help her.
Unfortunately, they didn't do anything, they just acted as if they didn't see her signal, irritating her to the core.
Bracing herself, she slowly moved towards Rami.
"Let's talk, please." Amethyst gently said to Rami.
Rami didn't respond.
Impatiently waiting for Rami's reply, Amethyst started to ramble.
"I didn't really mean to slap you. I'm really, really so sorry for that." Amethyst started while walking nearer towards Rami.
"I know I shouldn't do that, but I did, and I really regret it." Amethyst continued while she stopped when she's already in front of Rami, then she squatted.
"Just, forgive me for this once." Amethyst concluded.
Rami stays silent.
He only looks at Amethyst in a confused state.
He didn't know how to respond because he was not ready yet. So, he just looked down again, silently praying that these people would just leave him alone.
To his surprise, Amethyst put his fingers below his chin then raised it for him to face her.
Rami saw Amethyst gently smile, full of guilt towards him.
"Again, I apologize. I was just pissed off so I shouted at you and said those mean things. And it further intensified because something triggered me and I accidentally slapped you." Amethyst convinced Rami.
"Are you really sincere?" Rami finally spoke.
"The Lady Amethyst I know— everyone knows— never apologises to someone since those people whether they're wrong or not, they always apologize to her first." Rami continued.
Amethyst was stoned there.
It was true. She can't deny it.
"I----" Amethyst started talking but stopped midway.
Rami saw Amethyst hesitated. He smirked mockingly. Without further ado, he slowly stood up, and was about to walk away. It's just that, Amethyst stopped him.
"Wait, I was wrong. I really am sincere, okay." Amethyst shouted.
Rami faced her.
"Then, I accept your apology. So can you just leave me alone now?" Rami stated.
He already knows. These days, these people keep on searching for him. For the reason that the group only knew, Rami is not interested. He still had a grudge with them. Especially with this lady.
Rami turned his back away from Amethyst and he proceeded to leave his favorite place just like that.
He really hated this kind of person— really hated them.
At Deveraux Mansion. . . .
Astera is now sitting on the single sofa in their living room while holding a folder.
On his front were all his brothers, except Rami, sitting in front of him doing their own things. The other two are casually seated there while playing on their cellphones.
Except for Gray who is staring intensely at Astera. He is waiting.
After reading the folder, Astera tightened his grip that was holding the folder, causing it to crumple.
Gray noticed so he asked, "What did it say?"
Astera didn't answer Gray. He just kept silent as his stare hardened. He's literally angry right now.
"What? Elder brother, don't think you can hide that 'person' who harmed our Rami." Gray continued. This time, stating it as if he's threatening Astera.
The other two looked at Gray and Astera as they heard the name of their Brother.
"What? Something happened to Rami?" Red asked confusedly. He was worried because of what he heard.
"What do you mean third brother? Eldest brother?" Ezra asked directly to their eldest and third brother.
He stared towards their eldest brother. His gaze was full of inquiry and full of worry.
He stood up and went to Astera. Then he gripped Astera's right arm, shaking it, urging Astera to answer him immediately. He is anxious.
Astera just lets Ezra do what he does. Indulging him. He then patted his head.
He too, was anxious but he didn't let it out. Feeling the soft hair of Ezra, their youngest brother, it slowly calms himself down.
With a resigned sigh, after a while Astera finally said – "Fine, I'll say it once. You know that Rami is attending that school right?"
All the brothers nodded.
"You also know that Dark is also attending that school together with his people." Astera continued.
Silence fills the room.
They're all waiting.
"Well, one of his people slapped Rami on his cheek. Add the fact that she also caused Rami to run around their school Gymnasium while it's still their lunch break. Unfortunately, they also found that, before that 'exciting' encounter, our Rami also got a small wound in his elbow which bled a little when he fell down when that lady pushed him. However, it stopped in no time." Astera finally finishes while detaining his anger.
"Who?" Gray asked directly. His voice is so cold. If anyone would hear it, they would literally shiver with fright.
"Amethyst Wallace." Astera answered flatly. He didn't take that woman's background at all.
"That woman is getting fuller at herself. What the hell!!" Ezra exclaimed with a tint of anger.
Exploding with anger, Ezra sat on Astera's lap. His back facing his hard chest. He needs the comfort of his eldest brother to ease his anger a little.
He can't believe that his fourth brother experienced something awful like that.
Despite his anger, Astera holds Ezra carefully, ensuring that he will not fall.
His left arm wraps on Ezra's waist.
Red just stays silent on the other single sofa that he is sitting on. His thoughts were unknown. He just lay there. His thinking deeply.
The others know that he's already plotting something. Of course, they wouldn't stop him. Instead, they will happily join him.
"Brother you will not let this go right? Right?" Ezra asked their eldest while he leaned even more at him.
"Of course. Don't worry!!" Astera promised to Ezra.
