Three months have passed since that incident.
Rami's life goes back to its original state.
Just doing his mission if it is suitable for him to execute. Attending his classes when he's bored, if he wants to or if he's running out of his daily dose of his beloved— Dark.
Now, Rami is currently in his favorite cafe where he always buys his milkshake.
Suddenly his phone rings. Someone's calling him.
With that sudden call, his intuition is ringing making his head slightly ache.
Rami answered his phone without looking who's the caller.
"Hello? Who's this?" Rami politely asked.
"My dear little brother, I see, you didn't check who's the caller again huh. Oh well, I called just to inform you that you'll be expecting a visitor today." Gray coldly said to Rami.
"Is that so? Then you should already be familiar with how I acted, third brother." Rami replied hauntingly.
"My, sorry for I am not. Anyways, not interested? "
"Why should I? You know me, third brother."
"Then what if the target is one of Dark's people?"
When Rami heard it, his face darkened. His cold aura starts to slip out of him, greatly affecting the environment of the café. Resulting for the people within it to uneasily glanced at him occasionally. He unconsciously gripped his milkshake tightly 'causing its content to spill, wetting his hand.
"What?" Rami uttered.
"Yes. Good luck dear little brother. By the way, according to some birdie, it will be done at exactly eight. Ow, it's a sniper." Red reminded Rami then he ended the call.
Rami looked down to check his watch. It's already Seven-Forty -eight. Without wasting more time, he quickly dashes towards where Dark and his group are. As a capable stalker to his beloved, he knew where they were right now.
Rami's brothers didn't really know who his beloved was, but he asked their third brother—since it was his forte—to keep an eye on his school. He especially pleaded with him to notify him immediately if anything happened related to Dark Kendric Knight. Once he pleaded that, he made sure to prepare plenty of excuses and explanations. For him not to think bad.
He wanted first-hand information, and it was also a matter of caution. It seemed only right for him to do so. Thanks to that, he could protect his beloved at all times—just like now.
Rami kept running, even fastening his pace more as time slowly moved.
He didn't stop until he could already see Dark and his group.
While running toward the group, he began searching for the sniper. After a moment, he finally spotted him—positioned on the rooftop of one of the school buildings, already aiming at Ryuzaki.
Rami pulled out his pocket knife out of nowhere which he carries every time, gripping it tightly.
Soon, at exactly eight just like his third brother informed him, the sniper fired.
Now the bullet is flying speedily through Ryuzaki.
Without any hesitation, Rami immediately leaped through Ryuzaki and used his body as a cover. His back facing Ryuzaki, shielding him from the bullet. At the same time, using his all force, he throws the knife through the Sniper.
He smiles with satisfaction when he sees that his knife pierced the sniper on his head.
Rami signed in relief, then he slowly closed his eyes. He felt his body start to fall on the ground. So he waited for the fall. Afterwards, he didn't know what happened next as he blocked out.
But he didn't fall from the ground since someone caught him.
On the other hand, at Deveraux Mansion, Astera was in his gloomy state when he got the news that Rami was shot.
He immediately sends someone to check where Rami is right now.
After he learned that Rami was in Dark's mansion, his gloominess turned to anger.
He stood up and was about to go out when Gray stopped him.
"Eldest brother, don't." Gray said to him.
Gray was in the same state as his eldest brother but he forcefully calms his self-down because he remembered Rami's identity in school.
"Tell me, why should I stop?" Astera asked coldly.
"Remember Rami's identity in school?" Gray patiently asked Astera.
Aster stayed still. Silence enveloped him. Whereas Grey watches him in caution.
Redying himself into stopping his eldest brother in case he will leave again.
"Ah." Aster commented drily.
"Why of course. He used his mother's surname instead of ours. Making me think that he didn't want to be known as a member of our Deveraux family." Astera continued, his tone slightly differs, full of venom.
He subconsciously remembered the past, the feeling that it gave to him.
"Eldest brother---" Gray called out but stopped when Astera raised his right arm to shut him up.
"I know. Go send someone to make sure that Rami will be okay." Astera said then walked away leaving Gray alone inside the room.
