The room was so quiet that Eva thought the silence might actually hurt her. She was breathing fast. She could not stop staring at the note that Kevin was holding. The writing on the note looked scary like it was written in blood or something. Eva was wondering if her fathers heart attack was really an accident.. Now Kevin, the same man who had saved her from falling was telling her something that was making her life fall apart.
Kevin walked into the moonlight and Eva saw a look in his eyes. He was not angry he just looked like he was enjoying this, which made him look even scarier.
"You look like you have seen a ghost, Eva " he said in a voice. He crumpled up the note. Threw it away like it was a piece of trash. "Maybe it is the truth that is coming out."
Evas voice was shaking as she held onto a vase on the nightstand. "Is it true? Did you hurt my father? Did you do something to him just to get to me?"
Kevin did not move he just stood there. He walked up to Eva until he was standing in front of her and she could feel the heat from his body. "I did not hurt him I just gave him a choice. He was not strong enough to make the right decision. Your father was too proud Eva he was dealing with people he should have stayed away from."
Eva was really upset. She screamed at Kevin. "You are lying!" she. She swung the vase at him.
But Kevin was too fast he caught her wrist. Twisted it until she dropped the vase. Then he pushed her against the wall. Held her there. He leaned in close to her. Eva could see the gold color in his black eyes.
"I do not lie to people who belong to me " he said in a voice. "I paid for your fathers debt I paid for his silence and in the end I paid for you too. If his heart stopped beating it was because he knew what he had done."
Eva was. She was fighting Kevin but he was too strong. She was. Kicking him but he would not let her go.
"I hate you! I will hurt you!" she said,. She was too tired to fight anymore. She fell against Kevins chest. He did not let her go.
He put his fingers in her hair. Made her look at him. His face was a little softer. Eva did not see any kindness, in his eyes. She saw something something that looked like hunger.
"You can hate me if you want " he said in a voice. ". Do not pretend that you do not want this too. Your heart is beating fast Eva. It is not just because you are angry."
Then Kevin kissed Eva it was a kiss and it was full of anger. Eva tried to push him but she could not she was stuck. For a seconds she kissed him back and it was like she was burning up.
Then Kevin stopped kissing her. They were both breathing really fast. That was when Eva realized that she had done something something that hurt her fathers memory.
