The goblins rushed toward Kai, his eyes darting around, watching each one.
He gritted his teeth and waited until the first one was close, then he charged ahead like a bullet, slashing for its head.

The blade ripped through the head of the goblin, its blood staining the ground as the body collapsed, but Kai's gaze had already moved on from that goblin; he was already scanning his next prey before the notification of the first one's death even came.

He wasn't even using his new swordsmanship; he didn't need to. Goblins were basically easy kills, so there was no point in getting fancy. All he was doing was using experience.

The second one lunged at him, but Kai didn't expect it to immediately hurl the dagger in its hands at his face. Kai dodged quickly; the dagger flew past and stuck into the ground.
He turned his head, still shocked by the attack, only to see the goblin in the air, arms spread apart, claws gleaming under the sun, eyes filled with lust for blood.
'Oh hell no, creepy ass goblin.' Kai slashed immediately, but the goblin managed to grab hold of the sword first. Its fingers were cut clean off, but it was still alive.

It screamed and launched at Kai again, but Kai stabbed down, right through its chest, killing it instantly.

He pulled the sword out and looked up; more were coming, and they were surrounding him. Kai began plotting how he would take on the rest with the least energy output possible.
'I'll have to cut them down in one slash, nothing more. I have to keep my fights interesting for the viewer.'
While he was busy in his head, his views crossed 2k viewers for the first time ever.

When the streaming system pulled his attention to it, he was stunned for a moment, but he couldn't stop now; he was mid-fight.
"Thank you everyone that's viewing, we just hit two thousand views," Kai said while keeping his eyes on the goblins.

Chats were rolling in nonstop, but Kai couldn't focus on them for now. He pressed his foot against the ground and surged forward at the goblins.
The goblins didn't expect the attack, taken unaware.
He slashed wide; his blade dug into two at the same time, blood splashing into the air.

One rushed from behind and attacked.
Kai spun around, slashing for the kill.

The goblin managed to parry the attack; it was pushed back, so it couldn't counter. Kai used that opportunity, thrusting forward, penetrating the heart.

'Goblins are sneaky. They don't have any real strength, but if they get close enough they'll surely cause issues. That's why I attack before they can get any closer.'
A goblin rushed in from the side, leaped into the air, and hurled one dagger at Kai. Kai blocked the dagger while the goblin pulled out another from its back, waiting for the exact moment Kai dropped his sword to hurl it.
Kai was fast enough to dodge that dagger even as it was unexpected. He recovered quickly and in time to drive his sword through the chest of the goblin, pulling it out while charging forward to attack the next goblin that came into sight.
Four goblins were left, and they had seen how their fellows had been cut down easily, so this affected their will to fight. They cautiously backed away from Kai, but he was faster, catching up to one and immediately going for the kill.
The other three saw this as their time to attack, doing what they should have done a long time ago: attacking at the same time.
Kai stomped his foot and spun around, his blade slashing through the three in one move, their blood spilling into the air.

He turned his eyes to the last goblin, and before it could move, he stabbed it and killed it.

Kai shook his blade, and the blood fell to the ground, staining the grass.
"That ended well," he said with a smile, turning around to look at Mira.
He saw her sitting in the grass with Cuddles in her hands, staring at Kai with complete attention.
Kai instantly became nervous under her intent gaze. He scratched his head. "Uhm, what happened, Mira?" he asked.
"I'm just watching you fight. I got to watch my brother fight sometimes, and it was fun. I wasn't allowed to fight at all," Mira stated.
"Oh yeah, you stated that your father only allowed you to learn support magic. Pretty weird, to be honest," Kai said. He looked away from her and glanced at the streamer screen.

Kai was instantly stunned when he saw this, his eyes wide.
"Whoa, two thousand three hundred viewers?" he couldn't help but say out loud. Never did he think he would get so many viewers in his stream. This was already placing him in the position of a big streamer.
"Uhm, everyone, thank you for the views," Kai said in a very nervous way.
