Kai stepped into a large grassland that stretched out far, with hills and valleys. Mira also stood beside him, still holding Cuddles.
"I kinda expected something dark and gritty," Kai remarked. He didn't think it would be some open place like this.

"What the heck?" Kai yelled out in utter confusion and shock. "What the hell do you mean complete destruction of my character?" He asked. This was the first time ever that he had seen something like this, and it was alarming.
"Chat, can anyone find me information on this? Can dungeons do this?" He asked immediately, wanting to find some clarity.

Savage-Rider was fast with the reply. Kai was beginning to love how reliable he was.
"So the dungeon determines what happens, and this one has given me six hours survival time before I can log out, and if I die I lose my account.
This is hardly fair, but I don't think I have much of a choice here at all." Kai thought. He drew a deep breath to calm himself.
"Let's just tackle the issue head-on and survive for the next six hours," he said. He looked up ahead, waiting for what was to come. "When does it start?" he asked.

Just after he asked, a countdown started. Immediately he locked in, waiting for whatever was to come. He summoned Nightfall. The beautiful sword immediately appeared in his hands, and instantly, his chat noticed it.

[Snowseeker: He definitely didn't, he didn't have any money]
The chats came rolling in with speculation about his sword and where he got it from. They all kept asking him, but Kai didn't have the time to respond. The timer hit zero, and now he had to face whatever was coming.
At that moment, several goblins spawned, standing at three feet tall with their puke-green skin, jagged clothes, and rusted weapons. Their ears were long and pointed, many filled with holes and rusted jewelry.
A total of five of them spawned, and instantly they all rushed toward Kai.
"I haven't had the time to practice my sword art. I'm just going to have to use experience plus knowledge and hope for the best here," Kai decided as he watched the goblins rush at him.
The first one lunged with reckless abandon, teeth wide, sword in the air, reddish eyes locked on him.
Kai reacted fast, pulling one leg to the back, gripping his sword with both hands. "Mira, step back," he said, and she immediately listened, taking a few steps back to avoid being in the fight.
When the first goblin was within range, Kai thrust forward, his hands moving like a bullet through the air, the tip of the blade stabbing right through the chest of the goblin in one swift motion and coming out from behind, its dark blood squirting out instantly.
"Screeeeeech!" The goblin screamed in pain, but it wasn't dead yet, even with a sword right through its chest. Kai wasted no time and immediately slashed to the side, ripping the goblin apart. More blood gushed out as the body collapsed to the ground.

He didn't have the time to react to the death of the first one. His eyes were already locked onto the second that was lunging at him.
Kai stepped back and then slashed downward, but the goblin managed to use its sword to block the attack and was thrown down. At the same time, another lunged into the air from the side with two daggers in its hands, coming down to stab into Kai.
"Shit, they're gathering around me," Kai thought. He stepped back and then used a wide slash, his intent to push them all back, and it managed to work. The one attacking with daggers was forced to block and was thrown back.
His eyes shifted to the closest goblin, and immediately he stepped forward and slashed. The goblin was too slow to escape, and the sword cut through its chest. Blood gushed out, and the goblin collapsed to the ground.

His blade didn't stop there. He pushed forward and cut into the next goblin immediately, cutting the collar of the goblin and into its chest.

He pulled the sword out quickly as one goblin rushed from behind. He planted his foot, spun, and slashed right into the goblin, splitting it in half. The blood sprayed and landed onto the floor, staining the grass.

Now all that was left was the last goblin. It stared at Kai with rage, then rushed forward to attack.
Kai looked at it, unbothered. He waited for when the goblin attacked, and then he slashed, cutting right through it and killing it.

Kai looked at the bodies on the ground as they slowly broke down into light and vanished.
"That was pretty easy," he muttered.

The next moment, ten goblins spawned, looking more ferocious than the last. They cackled madly, their weapons in hand, their eyes on Kai.
"Oh shit," Kai cursed.
