A group of people are gathered in front of the hall where the boss's relics were being stored.
There is a lot of panicked mumbling. Most of them are scared of what the boss will do if he doesn't find the person responsible.
Some of the people there start trying to recall if they saw anyone there before now.
Just then, silence cuts through all the murmurs as the boss walks into the room.
He doesn't say anything. He simply walks to the middle of the hall, and his attendants gets him a chair to sit on.
The silence stretches on for minutes as no one dares to speak in his presence.
The silence is finally broken as a loud and arrogant man walks into the room. Beside him is Rome, the man who was in charge of kidnapping Anna.
He doesn't care about the tension in the room and begins speaking as he walks in.
'Sheeeesh, this looks reeelly bad. Someone is definitely in for it tonight, hahahaha.'
He pushes the person in front of him away as he makes his way to where the boss is.
'This is terrible, Eugene. Thank goodness it wasn't my room they broke into, to bad this open hall doesn't have enough security hehe. I feel bad for you, I really do.'
All the other gang members watch in shock and familiarity at the scene. It wasn't a new sight for them, and yet that level of disrespect still left them stunned every single time. It was something they could never dream of doing.
But it was not out of the question for him. After all, he had almost half of the gangs support and was next in line to be the boss of the gang.
He continued speaking.
'So what are you going to do? How will you find the person responsible? Or don't tell me you just plan on shooting until someone fesses up,' he prods.
Before he can continue, the barrel of a gun is pressed to the back of his head.
'That's enough out of you, Cerad. Any more disrespect and I'll replace one of those eyes with a bullet. Maybe then you'd be able to see clearly who it is that you are speaking to,' Catheriana says, shutting him up as she points her golden revolver at him.
He turns around to look at who is threatening him, though he already knows who it is.
'Of course it would be you. Who else would be so dense as to not be able to tell a joke?
Mrs. Piss Head.
Stop pointing that gun at me or you will soon regret it.'
The tension in the hall rises as the two have a standoff.
All the while, the boss remains silent and unchanging in his seat, with his assistant by his side.
Before anything can transpire between the two, a third towering voice breaks their standoff.
'Enough!'
A tall, muscular man who looks to be about the same age as the boss, in his late forties, walks into the room.
'There will be no more of this childish foolishness from either of you, or I will be the one doing the killing.'
At that, Catheriana drops her gun, and the both of them face away from each other.
He walks past the crowd and stands beside the boss, where the other two are.
'Where are Reis and Jane?'
'They haven't arrived yet,' Catheriana answers.
'Alright,' he states again, as everyone goes back to silence.
'Ughhh!'
Cerad breaks the silence again with a tired moan of boredom.
'You two had to go and ruin the mood. Now I don't feel like being here.'
He turns to face Rome, who came with him.
'Stay here and tell me what happened later.'
Cerad turns around and begins heading back.
But Catheriana objects.
'Hey, get back here.'
'Just leave him be,' the tall, authoritative man tells her as Cerad walks away.
A while after that, two more people arrive: Reis and Jane, who stand beside the boss as well. The main discussion finally begins.
With all the executives present—Catheriana, Jane, Reis, Lopard -the tall authoritative man, Yumel- the boss's assistant, and the boss himself—with the exception of Cerad, they begin the main discussion.
The boss speaks to all the gang members behind him in a calm but terrifying tone.
'Who did this?'
Nobody answers, and the murmurs continue for a while before he speaks again.
'I was last here and your ago and everything was still in place,' Yumel speaks up
He speaks again 'Everyone who walked through here in the past hour, get in front of me now.'
Many of the gangsters gasp in terror and start denying that they have passed through there.
Ten people step forward, including the three who Anna was hiding from.
'How long ago was it when you passed?' the boss questions them.
'About one hour ago,' one states.
'Thirty minutes,' another claims.
'Twenty,' says the big guy with all his companions.
'F-five,' one guy stammers from the back.
The boss looks back to his attendant.
'Bring me the one who said he found it.'
She leaves into the crowd and comes back with the witness, a terrified-looking guy who is probably still in his teens.
The boss speaks.
'You are the one who reported this, right?'
The boy nods in agreement.
'When did you see it? Explain.'
The boy stammers a bit before beginning to explain.
'I was going to my room when I saw this. I was so shocked that I immediately ran to report it to Miss Yumel.'
'When?' the boss presses.
'U-u-um, about nine minutes ago,' he clarifies.
The boss looks up at the guy who said five minutes.
'Did you break my relics?'
The guy, realizing the trouble he is in, begins pleading for his life.
'I swear I didn't break them. You have to believe me. When I came here, they were already broken. I was just too scared to tell anyone, that's why I—'
BANG
Before he can finish, the boss cuts him off with a bullet to the head.
He falls backwards onto the floor, lifeless.
Everybody is shocked at how instantly he reacted.
'Kneel.'
He commands the remaining nine standing in front of him, and they all drop to their knees.
