He placed his hand on her belly, and every nerve in Jinx's body screamed at her to cut his hand off. She forced herself to stay still. "We can go for a checkup in a few days. Jinx felt the familiar irritation rise in her chest. The way Fenris shifted the topic from her inheritance to her infertility was not surprising irked her soul. It still made her want to scream.
