Fenris had dropped Silvia at the entrance of the grand courtyard. The party was being held outside a sprawling mansion, its courtyard so vast it could hold hundreds of guests. Since only women and the media were allowed inside, Fenris could not stay. He gave Silvia a quick kiss on the cheek and left, his silver car disappearing back down the long driveway.
Silvia walked into the courtyard, her head held high, her hand resting on her pregnant belly. She spotted a group of women she knew and made her way toward them, forcing a warm smile onto her face.
