*The Black Villa**
The Black Villa loomed in the shadows, its exterior a striking contrast of deep black adorned with eerie green lights that flickered like ghostly flames. The ambiance was both majestic and foreboding, a fitting home for secrets that thrived in the dark.
Inside the largest room, four figures sat around a sleek, obsidian table. The green light cast an otherworldly glow, illuminating their faces while the rest of the room remained shrouded in darkness. The air was thick with an unspoken tension, a palpable sense of power that hung like a storm cloud ready to burst.
They were the Elders of the Cult Group, a clandestine organization that held sway over Star City, their influence felt but their identities hidden. Each member was a pillar of society: Dorminous Raven, the state senator with a reputation for ruthlessness; Dol Riley, the nation's most esteemed doctor, known for his brilliance and his secrets; Rose Mie, the enigmatic businesswoman whose dealings were as shadowy as her motives; and finally, the Eldest Elder, a figure cloaked in mystery, even to the other members.
"Welcome to today's elder gathering," the Eldest Elder intoned, his voice calm yet chilling, like ice cracking underfoot.
"Thank you, Eldest Elder," the others replied in unison, their voices echoing in the heavy atmosphere.
"Is there anything to discuss?" he asked, his gaze sweeping over the table, assessing each member.
"Yes, Eldest Elder," Dol Riley began, his voice strained with grief. "I lost my only son."
Dorminous Raven sharply interjected. "It was the same person who killed my only daughter."
The tension in the room escalated, the air thickening with anger and sorrow. "So what are we supposed to do about it?" Rose Mie snapped, her voice laced with frustration. "The deaths of your children have nothing to do with the cult. We are here to focus on our Eternity goal, not personal vendettas." She casually mover wrist which was strapped pink watch.
Her words angered both Riley and Dorminous
and they began hurling insult on her and her cold stare magnifying their anger . The Eldest Elder remained silent, his expression inscrutable, as the chaos unfolded around him.
"Silence!" he commanded, his voice cutting through the noise like a knife. The room fell abruptly quiet, the tension shifting as all eyes turned to him.
"I am already dealing with the case," he continued, his tone icy and authoritative. "Are there any other suggestions?"
The silence that followed was deafening, each elder lost in their thoughts, the weight of their grief and anger hanging heavily in the air.
"In the absence of any further input," the Eldest Elder said, his voice steady, "have you all submitted your contributions?"
They nodded, the atmosphere thickening with unspoken agreements and hidden agendas.
"Elders," he began, his voice resonating with a chilling finality,
"we aim to live eternally in power." others chorused .
Noble House College,
Aurora strolled casually into the lecture hall, her confidence radiating as she approached a boy sitting near the front. "Is this the class for Business 001?" she asked, her voice melodious.
The boy nodded, his cheeks flushing a deep crimson as he quickly scribbled something in his notebook, clearly flustered by her melodious voice. Aurora shook her head as she made her way to the back of the room, her long hair swaying with each step.
The lecture hall was filling up quickly, students chatting excitedly as they settled into their seats. Business 001, the accounting course for the Business Administration department, was about to begin, and everyone knew that the lecturer was notoriously strict. The thought of facing her wrath sent a shiver through the room, even among the mostly privileged second-generation students of NHC, a private college known for its high standards.
Just a few minutes before class was set to start, the atmosphere shifted dramatically as the Triple Kays made their entrance. The room erupted into a frenzy of cheers and adoration.
"Triple Kays, I love you guys!"
"Oh my Prince Charming!"
"Zheus just flashed me a smile!"
"Boo-boo, come give me a hug! This beautiful sister is willing to!"
The chants grew louder, with Kieran's name ringing out the most. Knox offered a gentle smile, acknowledging the crowd, while Khaos merely glanced around with a cold, indifferent expression. Kieran, on the other hand, beamed at the students, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Hush, don't make so much noise, beautiful sisters and handsome brothers. We're in class!"
His playful tone only fueled the excitement further.
"Oh gosh, I'm in love with his cute smile!"
"Boo-boo is just too cute!"
"How I wish I could kidnap him and make him have babies with me!"
Kieran chuckled to himself, shaking his head at the hopelessness of it all. He scanned the room for a place to sit with his friends and spotted three vacant chairs at the back. He made his way over, settling in with a casual grace, pulling out his lecture materials and tossing a candy into his mouth.
As he glanced to his right, he was taken aback to find the girl sitting beside him was none other than the one who had given him a shoulder throw earlier. Aurora was focused intently on her notes, her hair tossed aside, giving her an effortlessly delicate yet rebellious look.
"Hi," Kieran said, his voice warm and inviting. But she didn't look up, her pen moving swiftly across the page.
"Hello?" he tried again, a hint of persistence in his tone. Still, she remained silent, absorbed in her work.
"Are you a new student?" he asked, his curiosity piqued. No response. Undeterred, he pressed on, "What's your name?"
Finally, Aurora raised her head slowly, her cool gaze meeting his. Just as she was about to tell him to fuck off, her phone buzzed with a message. She glanced at it, her expression remained neutral as she read the information: Kieran O'Brien, the only son of the late O'Briens. Suspected connection to the masked killer due to his striking pink eyes.
She looked back at Kieran, his pink eyes shining with innocence, and a smirk crept across her face as she thought to herself
"It's the prime suspect, "
"Aurora," she replied, her voice melodious and clear, cutting through the chatter in the room as the class fell silent, all eyes turning toward her.
