Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, casting a golden hue over the parking lot, the unmistakable roar of a motorcycle engine filled the air. Aurora's bike screeched to a halt, and she dismounted with an effortless grace that turned heads. With a flick of her wrist, she removed her helmet, revealing a cascade of glossy hair that tumbled down her shoulders. She shook her head slightly, letting her hair fall perfectly into place before placing the helmet on her bike.

The sunlight danced off her jade-green shoes, each step echoing with confidence as she walked. Aurora was a vision of beauty, her makeup flawlessly applied, but it was her lips—vividly red like ripe tomatoes—that truly caught the eye. She exuded a magnetic charm, the kind that made people stop and stare.

As she strode across the parking lot, her long legs carrying her with purpose, she noticed a girl in a purple princess gown standing nearby. Ava, with her crown slightly askew and a container of green paint clutched tightly in her hands, looked both excited and nervous.

Suddenly, in a moment that felt like slow motion, Ava stumbled. The paint container slipped from her grasp, and before she could react, the bright green liquid splashed out, arcing through the air like a vivid comet. Aurora's eyes widened in shock as she instinctively tried to dodge the incoming deluge.

"Whoa!" she exclaimed, but it was too late. The paint splattered across her pants, the vibrant green contrasting sharply against the dark fabric.

Just as she was about to curse who had done that, she found no one in the garage and she cursed,"Damn it"

Just as she was about to run after the person, a girl approached her.

"You seem to have a stain on you," The girl asked and Aurora glanced at her and asked, "So? What has that got to do with you"

The girl was a bit embarrassed by Aurora's straight forwardness but still she insisted on helping.

"Let me show you to the school boutique, " the girl said for the 3rd time, her voice a bit anxious.

Aurora glanced at her suspiciously but she still followed her as she thought to herself, "l will change my pant first and deal with the bitch later. "

Freya watched the scene from her car with a smirk, everything was planned by her.

Not long after Aurora left the parking lot, the sound of screeching tires pierced the air as Lilith's car came to a dramatic halt. The engine rumbled ominously before falling silent, and Freya, who had been leaning against a nearby wall, straightened up with a smirk.

As Lilith stepped out of her car, Freya sauntered over, her confidence radiating. "Hey, bitch," she called out, a playful edge to her voice.

Lilith didn't respond right away; she simply slammed the car door shut with a thud that echoed in the stillness. Freya raised an eyebrow, glancing past Lilith to see if anyone else was with her. "You didn't bring K?" she asked, a hint of disappointment creeping into her tone.

"Idiots," Lilith replied, rolling her eyes as she made her way to the trunk. "You really think I'd put such a beast inside my car?"

Freya followed her, excitement palpable.

With a swift motion, Lilith popped open the boot, and a big, muscular black German Shepherd came into view, its tail wagging furiously as it recognized its owner. The dog's deep bark filled the air, and Freya couldn't help but grin.

"Hey, K!" she exclaimed, reaching out to scratch the dog behind its ears. The dog responded with a joyful bark, clearly familiar with her.

Lilith grabbed the leash and handed it to Freya, who took it with a flourish.

Lilith leaned against the car, crossing her arms as she watched Freya interact with K. "You still haven't told me what you want to do," she said, her tone shifting to one of curiosity mixed with impatience.

Freya's lips curled into a wicked smirk, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Wait and see," she replied cryptically, her voice low and teasing.

With a wicked smile , she led K out of the parking lot, the dog trotting happily beside her. Lilith followed closely, her brow furrowed in thought.

Kieran was on his way to the mansion with Knox and Khaos, a couple of bags in tow, when they decided to take a shortcut through the school boutique. As they strolled past the colorful displays, Kieran's eyes caught sight of a familiar figure standing off to the side. It was Aurora, and she was hard to miss—especially with a glaring splash of green paint smeared across her black pants.

"Hey, hold up for a second!" Kieran called to Knox and Khaos, a playful grin spreading across his face. "I'll be right back."

"Where are you off to?" Khaos asked, voice filled with coldness.

"Just gonna say hi to Aurora," Kieran replied, already making his way toward her, his heart anxious a little at the thought of chatting with her.

As he approached, he could see Aurora's expression shifting from annoyance to mild surprise. She was clearly waiting for someone, her arms crossed and her foot tapping impatiently against the pavement. Just as Kieran was about to call out to her, a sudden commotion erupted behind him.

He turned just in time to see a blur of fur and energy racing past him. A German Shepherd, its tongue lolling out , was barreling straight toward Aurora.

"Aurora!" Kieran shouted, his voice laced with urgency as he instinctively lunged forward, trying to reach her before the dog did.

Meanwhile, Aurora was feeling the weight of her frustration. She had been waiting at the front of the boutique for what felt like an eternity—over thirty minutes, to be exact. The girl she who was supposed to get her a new pant had vanished , leaving her feeling abandoned and a bit annoyed. Just as she let out another exasperated sigh, she heard Kieran's voice calling her name.

Turning around, she barely had time to register what was happening before the German Shepherd launched itself toward her, its ferociousness palpable.
