Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

*Noble House College, School's Compound**

The sun hung high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the bustling compound of Noble House College. Students were scattered about, some engaged in lively conversations, others buried in their books, while a few simply loitered, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

Suddenly, the unmistakable roar of a pink Bugatti Centodieci pierced through the chatter. The sleek car screeched to a halt, and Kieran emerged, his presence instantly commanding attention. He was flanked by the Triple Kays—Khaos and Knox—who followed him with an air of confidence.

As they stepped out, there was no grand fanfare; the first-day excitement had faded, but the students lingering in the compound greeted them with friendly nods and smiles. A few even offered small gifts, tokens of admiration for the trio.

As they made their way through the school, they stumbled upon a girl sitting on the floor of the corridor, tears streaming down her cheeks. Khaos walked past her, his expression indifferent, but Kieran paused, his heart softening at the sight.

He knelt beside her, his voice gentle yet playful. "Tears don't look good on beautiful sisters," he said, a warm smile spreading across his face. "So today, I'll share my secret to happiness." He reached into his pocket, pulling out a shiny candy wrapped in pink foil.

The girl looked up, her tear-streaked face brightening slightly as Kieran extended the candy toward her. "Here, take this and be happy. You deserve to stay a beautiful sister," he encouraged, his tone sincere.

With trembling hands, she accepted the candy, wiping her tears away. A blush crept onto her cheeks, and she whispered, "Thank you," her voice barely above a whisper but filled with genuine gratitude.

Kieran stood up, a satisfied grin on his face, and Knox gave him a supportive pat on the shoulder. The surrounding students began to murmur praises, their admiration for Kieran palpable.

"He's such a great person!" one student exclaimed.

"He's like a bundle of joy that spreads wherever he goes!" another chimed in.

"That's my Boo-boo!" someone else added, their voice filled with affection.

But Khaos, standing slightly apart, felt a surge of irritation as the chants grew louder. "Are you not done yet?" he snapped, his tone icy.

The crowd fell silent, some exchanging glances, unsure of how to respond.

"He's too cold," one student whispered, glancing at Khaos.

"You can't help and then speak coldly to people who are trying to help," another added, defending Kieran.

"I don't get what you all see in him," Khaos muttered, crossing his arms, his frustration evident.

Kieran, catching the murmurs, raised his voice to cut through the tension. "We're coming!" he called out, grabbing Knox's arm and pulling him away, eager to escape the growing crowd.

As they walked off, Desirae Fixx, leaning against a nearby wall, watched the scene unfold with a look of utter disgust. "What's so great about being a sissy?" she scoffed, rolling her eyes at the display of affection for Kieran.

**Parking Lot**

The sun cast a warm glow over the parking lot, where a girl and a boy stood beside a sleek car. The boy leaned casually against the vehicle, while the girl stood with an air of regal confidence. She was dressed in a stunning purple princess gown, complete with a sparkling crown and crystal purple shoes that glimmered in the light. This was Ava Reed, the epitome of a spoiled princess.

Her brother, Aiden Reed, was dressed sharply in blue suit pants and a black shirt, his demeanor protective and doting. Aiden was known for his unwavering affection for his sister, always looking out for her.

Aiden reached out to help Ava reset her sparkling crown, when Ava said,

"Brother, you can get going. I'll just wait here," her voice sweet yet firm.

"Are you sure?" Aiden asked, concern flickering in his eyes.

Ava nodded, her confidence unwavering. "I'm sure."

"Okay, just be careful," he replied, giving her a gentle pat on the head and a soft kiss on her forehead before he turned to leave.

As soon as Aiden walked away, a pink Bugatti Centodieci roared into the parking lot, its engine purring like a contented cat. Freya stepped out, her presence commanding attention.

Ava's face lit up, and she rushed forward, wrapping her arms around Freya in an enthusiastic hug. "I missed you so much!"

Freya returned the embrace with a strained smile, trying to peel Ava off her. "I missed you too," she said, her voice laced with a hint of impatience.

"Where's Lilith?" Ava asked, pulling back slightly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"She's on her way," Freya replied, her tone shifting as she continued, "Ava, I need your help with something."

"What is it?" Ava asked eagerly, her excitement palpable.

Freya opened the trunk of her car and pulled out a container filled with bright green paint. "You know every student in our school, right?" she asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.

Ava nodded enthusiastically. "Of course!"

"We have a newcomer," Freya said, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

Ava's brow furrowed in confusion. "So, what do you need me to do?"

Freya's expression turned serious. "I need you to wait for her here in the parking lot and pour this paint on her."

Ava's eyes widened in disbelief. "Why do you want to pour paint on her?" she asked, her innocence shining through.

"Just agree already and stop asking stupid questions," Freya snapped, her impatience bubbling to the surface.

Ava hesitated for a moment, but the desire to please Freya was strong. "Okay, I'll do it," she agreed, her voice filled with determination.
