Freya's Pov :
I hit the ground and the blinding white portal like thing snaps shut behind me.
I groan in pain and open my eyes to see the polished marble floor under me.
Huh?
Marble floor?
I am not dead?
A few whispers reach my ears and i look around to see several pairs of feet's surrounding me.
I stand up quickly and freeze when i look around.
What the..?
People are surrounding me like they are looking at a monkey in the zoo.But that's not what's shocking.
It's the fact that they are dressed in heavy ball gown's and exaggerating hair style's like in ancient times.
"Tsk,do you see her clothes?They are so weird.Who let such a person in?"
"Her hair is tied weirdly too."
"Look at her shoes.They look so strange and cheap.How can a lady wear such a thing?"
"Where did she come from?"
"Do you think she is here for the ball too?"
"How dare she think that someone like her has a chance?"
My heart beats wildly as i look around at the unknown faces.
Unfamiliar
Every single face is unfamiliar.
Where the hell am i?
I push them and run but come to a halt after a few steps when i see the scene in front of me.
Gold blind's my eye.I am in a large,very large room.It's so grand and breathtaking.
Rows of balconies are curved around the room,all decorated with warm wood and shining gold.
The walls are covered with detailed carvings and golden designs.Big figure's armed in armours and shields are standing along the upper floor and the ground floor wall like silent guards.
Above me the ceiling is painted with scene of a sky filled with shining stars,the colours are extremely soft and dreamy.
Many chandeliers are hanging-no..they..they are floating in the air!Just a little below the ceiling those chandeliers are floating,lighting up the whole room.
It's like the breath is knocked out of my chest as i take in everything.
Is this..a ballroom?
I look around the room again and fail to see anyone in modern clothing.Even the men's are dressed strangely.It's..no it's kinda like suit but it's not suit.
Where the hell am i?
Wasn't i just in the jungle just now?How did i come here?
Where is this place?
I scan the crowd and my eyes fall on the a young girl,who is the only one that isn't gossiping or looking malicious.
"Excuse me.Can you tell me What is this place?Where am i?"I ask approaching her,trying to be as much calm as possible.
She blink's innocently."You don't know?This is the Royal palace."
I frown ridiculously at her last two words."R-Royal Palace??"
She nod's excitedly and say's."Tonight is the crown prince's selection ball.He is going to pick his wife today!"
I must stare at her with wide dumb eyes because Frown's and asks me."Young lady,are you okay?"
"But Which family are you from may i ask?Are you from another kingdom?"She asks with a slight frown,suddenly aware of my clothes and the judging eyes i am getting from the people around us.
"I-"I take a step back not knowing what to say.My heart squeezes a little,feeling suddenly out of air as i breath heavily.
What Royal ball?What prince?
Gosh what's happening with me right now?I was in the jungle just now..how did i end up here?
I seem to be floating on air as i try to take in the situation.
The glob.The snow glob.
And that freaking pendant!

I freeze when my back hit's a hard wall.But i am proven wrong when a small grunt comes from behind me.
Yup,definitely not a wall,it's a person.
A strange tingle goes through my body and i let out a small silent gasp as my hand's and feet's start getting cold all of a sudden and i am frozen in my place.
The large room seems to have fallen silent as everyone looks behind me fearfully.
A warm breath fan's my neck,making me hold my breath and i hear a long sniff.
What the hell?
