Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Q&A Session

The atmosphere within the Hall of Primordial Creation eased slightly from the seriousness of the working meeting. Pangu—their father—gazed at his children, a trace of relieved gentleness appearing on his face.

"Good, for now, I have said all that needs to be said." He spread his hands, his posture growing more relaxed. "If any of you have insights or questions, this is the time to raise them for discussion."

After a brief silence, the brother who presided over judgment turned his gaze toward the Lord of Order—his elder brother who held three authorities. With a slight frown, he voiced the question on his mind: "Elder Brother, I am curious. How exactly do you oversee 'Order' while simultaneously managing what appears to be its opposite, 'Freedom,' and also governing 'Fate'?"

The Lord of Order—their eldest brother—upon hearing this question, maintained his eternal composure. His response was concise and direct:

"I possess the authority and capability to appoint every law enforcement officer in the entire world." He stated it plainly, as if describing the most natural thing. "I oversee them. Then, they go out and apprehend criminals."

He paused briefly before adding the most crucial sentence:

"And then, they execute the criminals on the spot."

This casually spoken sentence seemed to drop the temperature within the sacred hall by several degrees.

The goddess who governed administration sensed a profound anomaly and could not help but speak up with uncertainty: "Wouldn't that... make the maintenance of order overly... lax, overly absolute? Is there no need for a trial?"

"Exactly!" Pangu's resonant and powerful voice picked up the thread, affirming his daughter's concern with approval in his eyes. "That is precisely why I urgently need you both!" He turned to his son. "From now on, all criminals and even suspects must undergo complete judicial procedures and receive a fair trial through your department—the God of Authorization. We can no longer operate in such a... crude manner."

Having resolved this key issue, Pangu seemed to have an epiphany and lightly tapped his forehead.

"Ah, that's right, there's something important I forgot to explain." His tone shifted to a practical one, like a father imparting household essentials. "Your current divine bodies have already been pre-endowed with all the knowledge and foundational power necessary to exercise your authority. In short, you do not need to eat, sleep, or rest."

He gazed at the brother and sister, his eyes filled with expectation.

"Over time, the knowledge and power contained within these divine bodies will gradually and fully integrate with your souls. The final outcome will be—you will be able to exist completely independent of these physical forms, operating solely by your souls with undiminished authority."

"Also," he added as if remembering an item on an itinerary, "later I will need to personally incarnate for covert investigations. Your eldest brother also needs to assess the performance of those 'law enforcement officers' under his command."

He glanced at the children and casually revealed, "Each time I incarnate, I will use a different ordinary body with a different name. So no one knows it's me."

Then he specifically instructed the siblings: "As for you two, do not recklessly attempt soul projection until the knowledge and power within the divine bodies are fully integrated with your souls—it is not yet stable. At this stage, you are free to move about. If you need worldly currency, just ask your eldest brother."

He looked around at everyone: "Well, are there any more questions?"

The younger sister blinked, her curiosity piqued: "Father, how exactly does one perform soul projection?"

Pangu smiled and answered calmly, "It's very simple, and there's no need to rush. When the time comes, you will naturally understand, just as a baby eventually learns to walk." He inquired again, "Are there any other questions?"

Silence fell upon the sacred hall. At this moment, it seemed no one had further questions.

"If there are no questions, I shall take my leave." Before the words fully faded, Pangu's figure within the Hall of Primordial Creation gradually dissipated, vanishing abruptly as if ink dissolving into water.

He left the God of Authorization and the God of Execution alone in this vast hall, to digest the torrent of information that had surged upon them, and to begin their new lives as deities—and as members of this extraordinary family.
