The Lord of Order raised an eyebrow and said offhandedly, "Of course I can teach you, but it's still too early." He waved a hand dismissively. "In my opinion, you'll learn it soon enough—though honestly, there's not much to learn. Use your divine bodies more, however you want. That'll speed up the fusion."
A flicker of disappointment passed over the younger brother's face, but his eyes still sparkled with anticipation. He couldn't help but press, "Then what were you doing just now? Why did you perform soul projection?"
The Lord of Order glanced at him, his tone evasive. "Why ask so much? Grown-up matters are none of children's business." He then changed the subject: "Why did you come here, exactly?"
The younger brother answered frankly, "We wanted to chat with someone, and maybe learn something along the way."
"Go away, go away," the Lord of Order shooed them, "I'm busy right now. Find someone else."
"We don't know anyone else out there," the younger brother insisted, "and besides, Father told us to come find you."
Upon hearing it was their father's instruction, the Lord of Order's attitude shifted instantly.
"Come, come," he suddenly beamed, "Let's have a good talk! Chat about whatever you like, do whatever you want."
The brothers looked puzzled. "But aren't you very busy?"
The Lord of Order sighed. "Ah, lately it's been nothing but trivial, annoying matters. Just thinking about them is irritating. I'll leave them to my subordinates—if action is really needed, no one can beat them anyway."
The younger brother then asked, "What does it feel like to separate your soul?"
"Nothing special," the Lord of Order shrugged, "or rather, you don't feel much at all. If I had to describe it, you might hear a 'pop,' like cracking your knuckles." He demonstrated casually: "Actually, you just need to relax your entire body, as if falling asleep. The trick is to breathe slowly, slower and slower, until you stop."
"That sounds too intense!" the younger brother exclaimed.
"It's not that bad," the Lord of Order said nonchalantly. "The key point is, once your primordial spirit leaves the body, every action requires spending money to sustain energy. Your souls are inherently wealthy, far more so than ordinary people's. That's why your thoughts are exceptionally clear, your spirits exceptionally vibrant, and your energy more abundant than anyone else's."
The siblings exchanged glances.
"So that's it! I never noticed," the younger brother whispered.
"What happens if your primordial spirit runs out of money?" the elder brother pursued.
"Nothing happens," the Lord of Order said lightly. "You just can't take action, that's all."
"I see," the elder brother murmured thoughtfully.
"So profound," the younger sister whispered in admiration.
The Lord of Order lowered his voice mysteriously: "Did you know? In the human world, they say soul separation always leads to death, but that's not absolutely true. Your divine bodies are inherently extremely wealthy and can automatically gather divine power. Even if you perform soul separation in the human world, your divine bodies won't perish."
He added proudly, "There's something even more impressive: as long as the damage to your divine bodies isn't fatal, you can recover by consuming divine power. Pretty amazing, right?"
The siblings nodded repeatedly, their faces full of admiration.
And so, they talked for a very, very long time.
