Recalling the scene of the creditor being imprisoned, Pangu gazed gently at the Lord of Order.
"You are the extension of my perception, my proud child, and an indispensable member of our family."
"Those things you kept from me... I forgive you."
The Creator's tone was mild, his eyes gleaming with all-seeing light:
"Thinking back carefully, it was you who first detected all the creditor's plots and reported them to me. I ought to grant you a reward—"
He looked at his eldest son: "What do you desire?"
The Lord of Order looked up and answered without hesitation:
"I want a girlfriend."
"One... who can stand as my equal."
Pangu showed a trace of surprise, then chuckled softly:
"You've reached that age?"
"Is there someone you have in mind?"
"Isn't there?" A hint of a bitter smile appeared at the corner of the Lord of Order's lips. "The choice of someone who can stand as my equal... there is only one."
Pangu's expression grew more profound:
"It wouldn't be... your sister, would it?"
"I'm afraid," the Lord of Order replied softly, "there is no other choice."
The hall suddenly fell into silence. Pangu finally sighed softly:
"No wonder."
"This must be difficult for you."
"It hasn't been too difficult," the Lord of Order regained his usual composure. "There are many methods."
"As you wish," Pangu turned to look into the distance, "but your sister must agree."
The Lord of Order bowed deeply:
"Thank you, Father."
