Chapter 27 - CHAPTER 27: Relationship

understand the rules yet. Don't stoop to her level," Sabrina said, taking on the demeanor of the family matriarch as she tried to comfort Dalton.

Dalton Grant was not the type to swallow his pride. After the surprise Ella and Lenn Perry had pulled on him today, he felt he had to teach Ella a lesson; otherwise, he would lose face!

The thought made Dalton tremble with anger.

Sabrina continued to soothe him, saying, "It's okay, Dalton. The Grant family dinner is just a week away. You need to think about the bigger picture. The situation with Ella and the Lee family has already put us in a tough spot. We can't let Ella embarrass us any further; that would be a real disgrace for our family."

Dalton Grant looked up.

"But just look at Ella Grant. She clearly comes from the countryside. Honestly, I think it's better if she doesn't go!"

How could Elle not go? Sabrina Anderson would never miss such a perfect opportunity to make Ella look foolish.

With that thought, Sabrina put on a sweet, caring expression.

"Why don't we let Stella teach her? Stella has been feeling frustrated lately and hasn't had a chance to bond with Ella."

Dalton waved his hand, sighing, "Stella really understands. You all have worked hard."

Sabrina leaned against Dalton's side, her heart blooming with joy while her face displayed concern.

"It's all for the family."

When Stella Grant heard the news, her face was filled with reluctance.

"Mom, why do you want me to teach that country bumpkin? We argued last night! Isn't this just asking for trouble?"

Sabrina, exasperated, tapped Stella on the forehead and urged her.

"Daughter, why are you being so foolish? You can't afford to clash with Ella Grant right now. What if she finds something to use against you?"

"Besides, with her bratty and willful nature, it only highlights how gentle and composed you are."

Stella Grant hadn't considered that angle before, and now she felt a bit anxious. "So what should I do now?"

Sabrina Anderson replied without hesitation, "Of course, you need to build a good relationship with her. Make her trust you, and then we can get things done."

After hearing Sabrina's words, Stella quickly grabbed a pile of clothes from her bedroom and knocked on Ella Grant's door.

Ella Grant was trying to catch up on her sleep, and the persistent knocking was starting to irritate her.

Who was so inconsiderate as to disturb her peaceful dreams?

When she finally opened the door, she found none other than Stella standing there.

"What do you want?"

Ella Grant's voice was cold and devoid of emotion, causing Stella to shiver slightly.

But she forced a smile and cheerfully said, "Good morning, sister!"

Ella Grant glanced around, noticing that there was no one else around.

"What are you pretending for?"
