Chapter 27 - Party Formation

4 goblins with swords, 3 archers. Hmmm… bad formation, the goblin archers should spread out more. Well, good for me though…

Sneaking towards the goblin archer that was at the farthest from the group, I took out my dagger and swiftly slashed its neck from behind.

[You have killed a Goblin Archer(Level 3)]

No exp. That's kind of sad.

Perhaps because of the commotion, the goblins were still concentrated on the three players at the centre. Each of them was trying to get a hit at Link who was already on the ground while Blaze and Raven protected him.

Using this chance, I walked to the next goblin archer and ran towards the next.

With the archers killed, and their numbers almost halved, the goblins finally noticed me. But their focus towards me was a fatal mistake as Raven used a half-broken dagger, perhaps a loot from a goblin, to stab one of them, while Blaze, now level 4, took the other three out with slight effort.

The bodies of the goblins turned into ashes, slowly getting erased, while Link stood up on his feet, before healing himself slowly.

A priest, huh? That's good. A smile formed on my face before I turned to the orange-haired boy who appeared close to me.

"Ezekiel!" Blaze spoke in excitement before asking,

"Gather anything useful?"

Well, they are going to get involved whether I tell them or not. So, no harm in sharing a bit of information. At least, they would listen to me later if I tell them than if I do not.

"I did but there is a slight problem. If I were to tell you about it, you would get a certain type of curse. And those who won't get cursed, I guess the ones on the stream, there is a chance they might get some other type of penalty," I decided to be honest with them.

"After all this is a realistic game," I added, being as convincing as possible.

Blaze heard that statement, paused for a few seconds, before turning back to Link. And then as they talked without speaking a single word, they reached a conclusion.

"Sorry Guys. We will be stopping our stream for 5 minutes, if it is not too much for you? I will surely tell you all the things after we finish the quest, I promise," he spoke as he apologised while bowing. And then, perhaps the reaction was positive, they both smiled and closed the stream.

Blaze sighed in relief before turning to Raven for a few seconds. She didn't seem to be too bothered by this as she waited for me to continue. And given her silent response, Blaze turned back to me and then spoke,

"Once again thank you. And please tell us."

Since I was going to need a Priest to make things easy for me, there is more benefit in having them around me than not. At their worst, they can defend against the zombies when I fight the Witch, or even if the Devil appears. With that in mind, I decided to tell them about what I had learnt about the whole quest. About the witch, and the possible appearance of the demon worshipper.

Specifically speaking, I wasn't particularly sure about them knowing about the demon quest, but then thinking about the level requirement, I guess it won't be harmful to tell them about that too.

If nothing else, I can use them to chip away at the boss's health or distract him during the battle. I pondered as I looked at the trio in front of me observing the System Message in front of them, possibly of the curse.

"It's sad what happened to the woman. It's even bad with the whole demon thing… man this place is pretty spooky," Link spoke as he healed Blaze. He had an ashen face as he recalled the information that I had just told them. Meanwhile, Blaze, who was fuming with anger, unable to hide his emotions asked with a serious look,

"So what now?"

"Now, we focus on levelling up as much as we can. There is a high chance that the Witch might appear tonight," I said as I sent a [Party Creation Request] to the trio in front of me.

Well, it will be mostly me levelling up while they stream, I guess? But I can let them have the weaker monsters, I suppose? I looked at them with slight pity before trying to recall the location where the stronger Non-Zombie Monsters appear.

Also

I guess, it was about time, I started building the character and reputation of Ezekiel, too.

Something that MUST be different from Mikeal Aroa.

This will be fun.
