Evan…Tuesday…
I tried to get up but I couldn't. I had felt this countless times. The vines would tear out from my back and wrap around my body. The vines were not as green as the vines of this guy before me. They were black and I could bet that my eyes were orange now.
Blood lust washed over me as I stood up with great struggle. The guy was smirking now. He looked around and I noticed what he was searching for…
Werewolves.
"You can have them as dinner, Evan. Don't try to control the blood lust." He said but I glared at him.
So that's what he wants…for me to lose control.
I pounced on him and impaled his nape with my razor sharp fangs. He let out a deafening scream and the wolf pounced on me, biting my vines. I screamed out in pain and punched the wolf away.
My vines which were pouring out blood now healed up and I stared at the creatures whom I bit. He was trying to crawl away but I placed my knee on his spine, crushing it.
As he yelled, I drew his head back by his hair and bit into his throat and drinking enough blood from him. I couldn't contain the hunger.
I felt someone tap my hair slowly while whispering 'There, there.'
I looked up into a pair of mesmerizing hazel eyes. I knew this girl.
"Daphne."
A naked male walked up to us and I guessed he was the werewolf.
"Calm down Evan. I was told to watch over you specifically. You need to be taken to the school clinic. None of the students have to see you like this." She said and helped me stand up with no struggle. Indeed, she was strong like her father.
Daphne helped me to the school clinic which was a bit far from the hostels. The doctor there, Dr. Fredrick knew I was different also. They had seen me like this but that was only during Middle School. No one ever saw me like this again.
Dr. Fred injected a serum in my vines and in a few minutes, they were retracting, slower than they came about.
My fangs retracted also but he told me that my eye color refused to change.
"Maybe sleeping would help." Daphne chipped "You just need to calm your nerves down."
"Yeah, she is correct." Dr. Fred took another syringe and a small bottle. He extracted it's content into the syringe and injected in my wrist "This should help you."
I had so many questions and the medicine didn't seem to be working even after thirty minutes.
"This is strange. The medicine should have started working by now." Daphne frowned, seating beside me.
"His system is definitely strong. I guess I should inject him with more doses to lure him to sleep." Dr. Fred said, bring out more syringes and bottles.
"That…person wasn't an illusion." I muttered and Daphne looked at me then at the ground. I already knew my answer.
"You are correct. I just wonder why Vandidar would send one of her chil…" Daphne froze and looked at me then at Dr. Fred.
"What?" Dr. Fred asked as he walked towards me with a syringe filled with blue liquid.
"Don't ask me that question!" She yelled and that made Dr. Fred flinch "You all know what type of demon he is, don't you?"
The door opened and Mr. Sean entered. He looked at Daphne and then at me.
Daphne turned to Mr. Sean; "You all know what he is. Why haven't you told him? You are risking his life by not doing so." She yelled, her eyes turning yellow. I wonder why she was getting angry all of a sudden.
Mr. Sean sighed; "I was going to do that, Daphne. Evan needs to know what he is. It's just that, we aren't really sure what he really is." Mr. Sean walked up to my side "Don't inject him with those. They won't work on him."
Dr. Fred was a little bit stunned but he did as he was told.
Mr. Sean sat down on a stool beside my bed and Daphne moved to the other side with folded arms.
"You are a luran, Evan." Mr. Sean said but I wasn't surprised. I just got to know that.
"I know but I am not an ordinary luran." I replied.
"Yes. Actually, Lurans are known as the descendants of Vandidar. She can only have lurans with human men who never survive once she has had sex with them. Her descendants are evil creatures and that is why young demons like yourselves know nothing about them." Mr. Sean spared a glance at my eyes before looking away.
Now I understand why my 'parents' disposed me. I wasn't their child and not just that…I was a despicable creature.
My parents are a fogron, succubi couple and I turned out to be their 'only child'. I could never realize it because I could manipulate darkness like my father and seduce like my mother. They never appreciated my existence and I wondered why.
I got to know I was different when I got attacked by a vampire. It kicked me in my diaphragm area. I morphed and killed the vampire. Mr. Sean found me and took me to Mr. Fred. He was the one who encouraged my parents to allow me to attend Purple Rose Academy.
And right now, I got to understand everything. But…Chartreuse did say that Mr. Sean told her something about me that had a connection with Logan Howard.
"You need to rest now, Evan. Don't think too much about it." Daphne said
"I am Vandidar's descendant, right? That only means I have evil flowing through me. I have always known it but I have tried to ignore it." I looked at Mr. Sean "How am I connected to Logan Howard?"
Daphne spared him a glare and so did Dr. Fred; "Just how much have you kept away from him?"
Mr. Sean sighed; "I am sorry. I just…didn't think you were ready and you are still not ready yet, Evan."
I looked away; "You can tell Chartreuse but you can't tell me. Hilarious."
"Not now, Evan."
"Don't worry. I will rest now. I want to sleep now." I covered my eyes with my fore arm. I hissed due to the pain I felt from the slight movement.
It was quiet for a while but I could here approaching footsteps. The door flung open, hitting the door behind it and I had to remove my arm from my eyes.
"Hirsch, what is…"
"A…student used the…the Darken potion on another student and it…was at its complete state. The student who it was used on…is now…dead…"
Mr. Sean panicked immediately; "Daphne, come with me. Hirsch, lead us to the place."
"I want to…"
"No. You stay here, Evan." Daphne said and the three ran out of the place.
