As the sun rose on the long-awaited day, the city came alive, almost as if it was sharing Jacob and Camila's joy. Sunlight danced across the windows of the grand palace Jacob had chosen—a place meant to witness the most magical moment of their lives.
The hall was adorned with white and pink flowers, and the shimmering crystal chandeliers added even more enchantment to the scene. Soft music flowed through the air as guests, dressed in their finest attire, waited eagerly for the bride and groom to appear.
At one corner, Emma surveyed the scene with a watchful eye, making sure everything was in place. She turned to Victor, who stood beside her with a warm smile, and said:
"Can you believe my brother is finally getting married? I still remember us fighting over the last piece of chocolate."
Victor chuckled, his tone soft and sincere:
"Everything changes, but love remains. Just look at him—he can hardly believe he finally gets to be with Camila forever."
On the other side of the hall, Jacob stood composed, though a storm of emotions swirled within him. As the music swelled, everyone turned to the aisle—there she was.
Camila walked gracefully, wearing a soft white gown laced with golden embroidery. Her sheer veil flowed behind her like a gentle breeze. Every step she took brought her closer to Jacob, whose eyes sparkled in awe.
Mike leaned in and whispered with a teasing nudge:
"Don't forget to breathe, man!"
But Jacob didn't hear a thing—his heart was pounding too loud.
As Camila reached him, he gently took her hand and whispered so only she could hear:
"You're more beautiful than any dream I've ever had."
She smiled, resting her hand over his, ready to begin their forever.
The officiant began the ceremony, but when it came time to exchange vows, Jacob surprised everyone:
"I want to say my promise... in my own way."
He looked straight into Camila's eyes, voice full of emotion:
"Camila, I used to believe a man didn't need someone else to complete his life... but you showed me how beautiful life becomes when it's shared with someone you love deeply. I promise to love you in every moment—even when you're mad and pretending I don't exist. I promise to be your strength when you need it, your laughter when you need joy. And today, in front of everyone, I say this with all my heart... I am yours, forever."
Tears welled up in Camila's eyes, but she smiled and replied, voice trembling with emotion:
"Jacob, you've always been someone who doesn't shy away from challenges. So today, I challenge the world to be with you forever. I promise to love you in every version of yourself—strong or vulnerable. I'll be your refuge, your home, and I promise... I'll never get tired of looking at you the way I'm looking at you now."
Time stood still before the officiant finally announced:
"You may kiss the bride."
Jacob gently placed his hand behind Camila's head, kissed her forehead first, then softly kissed her lips—amidst roaring applause and joyful cheers.
Emma clapped enthusiastically while Victor smiled quietly. Mike, as always, couldn't resist shouting:
"She's your wife now, no need to be that nervous!"
Everyone burst into laughter, and the air filled with celebration, as the newlyweds took their first steps into a shared life—hand in hand, heart to heart.
