Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: As befits my brother

Chapter 21: As befits my brother

In a place lit by the lights of the house, Perron announced his surrender to Seraph. Seraph watched calmly. Around him, Serin was watching to see when Perron would begin, while Seria was smiling happily, as if she knew something.

"Heh heh, big brother, you're as good as I thought. As befits my brother. Such a wicked talent, to be able to apprehend a criminal just by showing up. This was all my brother's plan, wasn't it? He pretended to be unconscious to bring us here, and this man, the criminal, surrendered in front of me. Plus, my brother assumed he was afraid of the martial arts master, having told me he was a martial arts master through his father. It was quite shocking, seeing him suddenly faint. This is truly wicked. If it weren't for me, I would have guessed it was a prank. Upon arriving, I immediately learned the whole story. That suspicious old man pretending to be a doctor, and the medicine he opened. If it were medicine, no one would open a bottle. A suspicious point is leaving the medicine open. No doctor would do such a useless thing. And most importantly, at this old age, he's still a doctor. Plus, he's dirty, just as I expected. This guy comes from a vagrant or something. Plus, the wound on his finger is oozing pus. This is the key point that tells me he's a vagrant. If you're treating a wound like this, stop being a doctor. If any other doctor said that, how about it? My brother, isn't this level of an analyst worth being proud of?

Seria smiled, her face turning childish. Like a child who's solved a case brilliantly and displayed a keen sense of reason. Seria looked at Seraph's calm face.

Seraph looked at her sister and nodded. [I didn't know. I almost forgot. This kid is a diligent reader. He got the book "Luck" from this kid. In his quest for knowledge, he traveled around town, learning so much. He's perfect for a reader. That's why he knows so much. You're such a diligent child. You'll be able to use so much knowledge now. You didn't even tell me about the magical item you received from Seren Tenshin Academy, but I'm wondering when it'll actually start, and you just don't know how to use it.]

"Excellent. It's just a coincidence. It's more your fault." Seria smiled happily at the praise, almost flying, but was pulled down by Serin's voice.

"Hurry up and heal my child, Doctor?" Perron looked at him suspiciously. [What kind of healing? Do you treat me like a toy? No, or are these guys just pretending? It's already suspicious. If a martial artist could use a little power to make me bow my head and surrender without wasting time like this!?] Perron prepared to stand up, curious.

The knife he had hidden in his hand rose up, ready to strike at Seraph, who was looking up. Seraph had been through so much in his life, he couldn't help but fear death. Whatever was going to happen, happened. The sharpness of the doctor's blade was unimaginable. A single blow could slice through a person's flesh. The silver blade, made of steel, was about to strike down.

Seraph's eyes remained calm as he looked behind Perron. He saw a beautiful young woman holding a chair and lifting it. It was Seria, smiling with amusement. "After you open it like this, don't ever think about harming others again."

Seria swung the chair and slammed it into Perron's head. The sound effect was loud. "Whoosh!" Bang! The beautiful brown chair, along with the young woman's hand, struck the old man, whose expression was filled with shock and he fainted. His eyes were closed as if he had fainted. His body fell forward, and the silver knife was swung towards Seraph. The extremely sharp blade could inflict a severe wound with just a slight impact. Seraph was sitting in the chair, with no intention of dodging. The question was why Seraph didn't show any signs of dodging. Seraph's Luck Line was still functioning, with numerous processes. Perron's severed fingers couldn't hold the knife firmly, causing him to lose his balance. Perron lunged at the table in front of him with a loud bang!

The doctor's knife slammed into the floor with a loud bang! The knife bounced up and pierced the table where Seraph's hand had been placed. The blade was barely more than enough to rip Seraph's hand apart. With just a flick of his finger, he instantly cut Seraph's hand. Smack! Seraph would have been wounded.

[Hmm, almost got hurt. Considering the 100% luck system is still working.] Seria put down her chair and looked at Serin, who was about to faint because her adorable daughter had lifted the chair and hit the doctor who was supposed to treat Seraph.

Seria was horrified. "Seria, you're going to get beaten up today. How could you hurt someone?" Seria pointed at the unconscious old man with red blood flowing from his head. It was Perron's blood.

Seria smiled in response. "My lady."This guy isn't a doctor! Look, what doctor is treating this wound? "Don't make excuses! You'll see the truth today."

Serin smirked. Seria ran into the room. Serin was about to chase after him when Somen walked in and was about to ask what happened. His calm face fell in shock when he saw Peron unconscious at the desk. Serin quickly spoke up.

"Somen, please take care of me. I'll go teach Seria a lesson. This is going to be a big mess." Serin ran into the room, clutching his head. At the unexpected event, Somen watched his wife enter and asked Seraph, who was sitting there.

"What happened? Seraph, is this your skill again?" Seraph shook his head.

[What skill? I just arrived with you guys. I don't have the intelligence to know something I don't know.] "This old man seems to claim to be a doctor. From what I can guess, he's holding the nurse here. Or maybe he's already killed.

Somen walked up to Seraph and pulled the scythe away from him, who had already sat down. Before he could even move, he said, "Are you getting involved in dangerous matters again? How many times have I told you not to get involved? Your life is important. If something happens to you, it'll be hard for your mother to handle it." Seraph nodded.

"I'll be careful." [I'm completely clueless. Who would have thought this guy was this dangerous? The Line of Fortune didn't even give me a warning.] Somen began to get a rope and wrap it around Perron.

Seria ran quickly, examining each room carefully. "It's Seria! My sister's safe! Please speak up!" Serin sped up and ran over.

"This kid sleeps at night. Why are you yelling at night? You need to teach him a lesson, Seria. Be quiet, or you'll get three times the punishment." The nurse who still had strength slammed into the wardrobe. Bang! Seria smiled happily and ran to the wardrobe. Opening it, she saw a young woman in a nurse's uniform being punched. The nurse tried to act like she was asking for help, shaking from side to side in fear, her work clothes barely changing.

Seria smiled and nodded. "It's okay. Calm down. Calm down. That old man in white has been beaten to a pulp by us. Don't worry, my sister is safe." Serin ran up behind Seria and reached out to grab her arm. Her scolding expression was about to begin, but she fell off the horse and became shocked instead.

"Huh?" Seria bent down to untie the rope. The nurse calmed down and regained her composure. While untying the rope, Seria asked for a compliment from Serin. "See, mother? Your daughter was able to save people, and your predictions were excellent. Don't forget the reward..." Seria happily untied the rope.
