Chapter 27: A Mistake
In the restaurant, twenty-eight people were lined up in a row, unconscious. The waiter's gaze was filled with shock. "Bana! What did you do?" [The blonde kid said I'd handle it myself, so this would be over easily? How could he do that? I don't understand at all. They were unconscious when this guy stood up. This guy is definitely doing it.]
The receptionist hurriedly backed away from the two children. Seraph maintained his coolness, seeing Seria's face turn cutely angry. "Big brother, here we go again. How many times have I told you to get out of the coffin? This is like I'm showing you my brother!" Seria had the look of a younger sister who was extremely displeased with her brother.
Seraph stared at the receptionist. He didn't even make a welcoming face, but his face was one of hostility.
[Don't tell me it's not related to the food at all. I thought it was weird. If the waiter had subordinates, why would he be welcoming them? If I were him, I'd be at home. These guys would definitely try to capture us. Did Seria tell the staff to taste it? Was there poison in it? I'm dead for sure. The line of fate doesn't indicate that food is dangerous, so Seria's chances of being wrong are high. Two on one? The waitress seems more skilled than the unconscious man. It shouldn't be a problem. Being able to be in a special room is considered quite skilled. The question is, why am I in a special room?]
Inside the kitchen, a man was hiding behind a door that could reveal unconscious people. It was the chef in charge of the food. He had short, black hair, a large build, and white clothing. His name was Jia Yi.
He had a look of shock on his face after seeing people outside the restaurant unconscious. "I'm dead! Your majesty won't kill me. I made a mistake! I used the unconscious to cook food for your men. I'm dead for sure! I used the wrong bottle! I should have left them in different places!"
Jia Yi's mistake was to mix the unconscious bottle with the condiments, causing all the men outside to unconscious. The receptionist took off her apron, her red hair reaching her waist. She was about twenty-five years old, named Asami. "Wang Lo, you take care of that girl. I'll take care of this little girl myself. This little girl doesn't look weak. She can beat twenty-eight men like this."
Seria quickly spoke up. "Wait, wait, wait. Can I be your opponent, Seria? Brother Naef, please. Seria will definitely win?"
Seria pleaded earnestly with Seraph. Seria wanted to show her brother her abilities. Seraph nodded. "Alright, women can fight amongst themselves, but this big man, fighting a five-year-old would feel a bit strange. But at least a first-class martial artist would be even more skilled than you think. Seria was very confident. Let's consider this a lesson."
"Okay, then, let's both be spectators." Seraph sat down in his original spot and ate a piece of pork. Wang Lo stood there, watching.Asami smiled confidently, "Wang Luo, don't interfere. Just stand there and wait."
Wang Luo nodded, agreeing to remain silent. [This is the opportunity to capture this woman. If there's a breach, then take care of a second-rank martial artist. It's already a difficult fight, plus there are men who act like subordinates around, so there's no chance to act. But this is a rare opportunity. I'll finally be able to go home. Capturing this woman is my responsibility. The mission is nearly complete, as if the long-walked path has suddenly found its way to the finish line.]
Asami held out her hand, "Be careful, young lady. This Asami is a second-rank martial artist. Those idiots lying unconscious on the ground have all lost to me and succumbed to the power of a great force. You may have a great future ahead of you. But what a pity, young lady. Your death has come today." Asami used her second spell.
{Fireball} Two large red fireballs, half of Asami's body, appeared. The red fire energy released heat, causing the surrounding area to heat up.
Seraph remained calm. [This doesn't look good. Seria is dead for sure? But why didn't the red omen of misfortune activate instead? Instead, it was the employee who had released the omen of misfortune. Are you saying that Seria can win?]
Seria held out her hand to Ashami confidently. "This is a test of Seria's skill. Please be gentle." Seria used her second skill, {Lightball}. A lightball as large as Ashami's fireball. Seria ordered the golden lightball to fly towards him. Whoosh! Ashami fired a fireball. Pew! The fireball and lightball collided with a loud bang! Red and gold light shone.
Wang Luo was shocked. [This kid, a second-rank martial artist at this age, has reached this level at this age? ] Ashami was equally shocked.
[I can't believe he's a second-tier martial artist. I can understand why such unparalleled intelligence can give me a headache. At her age, she already possesses exceptional abilities. It's a shame she had to die here.] "What an interesting girl!"
In the dust and smoke of the explosion, Seria rushed in and lunged at Ashami. Pew! Seria lunged and stopped in front of Ashami. Ashami swung a fireball down towards Seria. Pew!
Seria looked up, her expression serious and unflinching. The fireball descended rapidly. Seria used her second skill, {Lightball}. A golden ball of light formed, enveloping Seria, making her appear as if she were inside the ball of light. Whoosh!
The fireballs collided with a loud bang! Ashami smiled happily, but after a second, a ball of light the size of Seria's head appeared at the spot where Seria had been hit by the explosion. He flew into the air and collided with Asami's stomach. Boom! Boom! Asami flew back. Boom! Boom!
Asami flew into the wall, but at the moment he was almost hit by the lightball, Asami created a fireball that absorbed the damage, reducing his injuries.
