Chapter 19: The World Trembles
In the ancient house at night, blood flowed unceasingly. A pink light emanated from a magical heart-shaped object the size of a fist. Those around him, watching, had to cover their eyes to prevent themselves from staring at the energy.
Rindel stared at the pink heart floating in mid-air, his body daring to move. The pink heart exploded with a bang! Cracks spread throughout the room. The pink light fell onto the bodies of Rindel's parents. The pink light embraced them like a baby in a wagon. Their blood-filled bodies began to coalesce, a pink light that healed.
Rindel's father and Merindel, the blood on the floor, and Rindel's father's head were shattered by the pink light, as his father's lower body began to reassemble.
Rindel sat there, mouth agape, shocked, watching his parents' bodies begin to return to normal. The pink light shone with a terrifying power.
The pink light disappeared without a trace, leaving behind the bodies of Rindel's parents. Rindel hurriedly ran to his mother, seeing a woman with her eyes closed, looking like she didn't look dead. Rindel quickly placed his mother on the ground and ran to see his father's body. He saw his father's head, which had been severed, reattached, and his face was sleeping soundly.
Rindel couldn't stop crying, more than when his parents had died. "Oh... Dad... Mom... I'm so glad you're not dead. I'm so glad. Thank you, thank you."
Rindel lay down, exhausted from all the hardship he'd endured. His body collapsed to the floor, a deep sleep. As Rindel slept, a figure peeking into the house was seen. It was a figure in black, cloaked in black, named Tanner. He was smiling with amusement and interest in what Rindel had done.
[This is crazy! Did that kid resurrect his parents? What happened?] How could this child perform a miracle called bringing the dead back to life? Heh heh, the secret must be from this child. I've made up my mind. I'll take this child with me later and ask what happened. His ability to revive people isn't something to be trifled with anymore.]
Tanne ran into the Rindel household and checked on Rindel's parents. After examining them, a smile spread across his face. "Heh heh, a clear miracle. A level even a level nine wouldn't have thought possible. This child will become great one day. No, he will. I'll take him as my apprentice. He seems capable of creating disciples who will shake the world.
Training geniuses is interesting. Raising great geniuses is like this."
After a while, Rindel opened his eyes and looked at his mother making breakfast. Rindel's mother saw her daughter awake and smiled at the little girl. "How was your dream?" Rindel cried.
"Mother...." Rindel ran to hug her mother. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you for being alive. Where's Dad?"
"You're such a tearful child. Your father must be at work. I had a terrible dream last night. But that's all for now. Now, go wash your face. We'll have breakfast."
"Yes..." Rindel walked away from her mother. She looked around. The floor should have had a drop or two of blood yesterday, but it was incredibly clean.
Rindel walked outside her house to see a young woman with waist-length black hair and a blue dress, a sword at her waist. Rindel looked at the young woman Tanner, who was waiting. She was about twenty-five years old and a beautiful woman, smiling at Rindel.
"Hello, young miraculous woman. Are you interested in joining my school? Being able to bring the dead back to life is no ordinary feat. If this story spreads worldwide, There's definitely a struggle for you. Perhaps someone is trying to use your parents for experimentation, to join my school? I see the light in you, and no one knows about you. You should realize your weakness by now, right? Being powerless is like having no limbs to act on your own accord.
Rindel looked at Tanner with a calm expression. [As the woman said, why did you see him perform a miracle?]
"What are you doing here? If you're from a great school, you must be quite far from here, right?" Rindel began to analyze calmly.
Tannner smiled with relief. "Just checking out the potential students who could become my disciples, martial artists? With all that power, perhaps you could surpass me."
Rindel closed his eyes and thought. The young girl, Rindel, was just a coward, but in reality, this young woman was skilled at analysis. By gathering what I'd seen.
[First, a group of five men broke into my house and murdered my parents. I had to run out of the house. By coincidence, no, it was because the organization of fate had placed this item called the Black Ring in me, asking me to receive a miracle. Then, they killed everyone around me. When I returned home from the death of the five men in black, they gave me the amulet to revive my family, in order to make me realize...I told myself that in this world, strength is the greatest. And when I was performing the miracle of reviving my parents, this person happened to see me.
Could it be that this person's goal in helping me was for me to become this person's disciple?
He predicted and helped me without any benefit. Plus, if I continued to live like this,
my parents would die someday. This woman who wanted to take me in as her disciple used people from this woman's school to protect my parents. I wouldn't have to worry about my parents and could study at this woman's school. Since my family was so poor, I didn't have enough money to train as a martial artist. But if someone offered, along with the miracle that this person predicted, I could deceive this woman. I'm not a genius at all. I barely even passed the previous test. What should I do?]
Rindel opened his mouth and asked, "I don't have talent. That was just a coincidence. I was running away. When I opened my eyes, The person who killed my parents died, so I ran back. You probably saw it from the beginning, right? "Tanne didn't smile.
"I only arrived when you had a pink heart floating in mid-air and started using the pink light to revive your parents. So, I'm sorry I couldn't save them in time." Rindel nodded. "If I join the school, can I study for free?"
"Of course. Whether you fail or succeed, I'll still call you my apprentice. It's okay if you're not talented. You know your place quite well. Many people misinterpret the whole story. You're quite wicked, girl."
"What's the matter?" Rindel looked puzzled.
Tanne smiled back. "When I say I have no talent, I'm probably saying that if you can't do what I want, don't blame me. It means you might be using magical items without realizing it. Don't worry, even if you're trash, I won't go back on my word." You will be my disciple forever. Rest assured. I will have someone from the sect take care of this area. You can rest assured. I will come to pick you up in five days. Start doing whatever you want. I even secretly checked your bedroom. You want to become a perfumer? You can pursue your dreams while becoming a warrior," Tanner said finally and disappeared.
A voice came from inside the house. "Rindel, the food is ready. Come in and eat." Rindel walked into the house with a white ring on his finger. "Yes..."
