Chapter 4 - continuation of the party

The party was in full swing, with everyone having a great time. Mr. Jude, the host, stood out, giving his wife a lavish gift in front of their guests. The room erupted in applause and cheers as Mrs. Jude's face lit up with joy. However, not everyone was pleased with the display of affection.

Samantha, who had been watching the scene unfold, muttered under her breath, "Damn that bastard, he's giving his wife expensive gifts, forgetting he still owes me from our night together." Her sisters, Rose and Cassandra, were nearby, and they couldn't help but laugh at Samantha's comment.

Cassandra, ever the strategist, suggested, "How about you tease him in front of his wife?" Rose chimed in, "That way, he'll have no choice but to give you what he owes you."

Samantha's eyes sparkled with mischief as she made her way towards Mr. and Mrs. Jude. The couple looked up at her approach, Mr. Jude's expression turning from joy to apprehension.

"Hello, remember me?" Samantha asked, extending her hand for a handshake. Mr. Jude hesitated, his hand shaking slightly as he took hers.

Mrs. Jude looked at them curiously, "Do you know her, honey?"

Mr. Jude stuttered, "Well, I...I..."

Samantha's smile grew wider as she leaned in close to Mr. Jude. "I see you're having trouble recalling. How about I tell you where we met and what we did together?"

Mr. Jude's face turned pale, and he began to sweat. Mrs. Jude's expression turned from confusion to concern.

Samantha's voice dropped to a whisper as she leaned in closer to Mr. Jude. "Don't try to play smart with me. Now transfer what you're owing me with interest and a bonus to keep my mouth shut, or else I'll tell what happened between us to your wife right here."

She faked a smile and stepped back, her eyes never leaving Mr. Jude's face. He quickly pulled out his phone and began typing away, his hands shaking.

Mrs. Jude asked, "Honey, what are you doing?"

Mr. Jude lied, "I'm texting Edward to know if he's coming."

Samantha's phone buzzed with a notification of a money transaction, and she smiled, satisfied. "I'll let you enjoy the rest of your party," she said, turning to leave.

As she walked away, Mrs. Jude turned to Mr. Jude, her expression curious. "Honey, what just happened?"

Mr. Jude forced a laugh. "Nothing, she's just a girl I helped. Really, but she sounds like she was threatening you."

Mrs. Jude's expression didn't change, but she nodded. "Okay, if you say so. Let's just enjoy the party. After all, this party is for you."

Samantha returned to her sisters, a triumphant smile on her face. "Girl, did you succeed?" Rose asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Samantha laughed, her eyes glinting with amusement. "You all know I never failed."

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "So, what's our share?"

Samantha's smile grew wider. "What share? Forget it, because this money is my reward for all the styles I gave him, so I'm not sharing."

Her sisters laughed, knowing better than to push Samantha when she had her mind set.
